Chapter 4: Jeju Island (2).

Because of the Japanese Team attracting the aggro of the ants, some of them made their way to our helicopter.

"Allow me to handle this," Jong-In said and as the bay opened I jumped out instead, "HUNTER NATAE!" Jong-In yelled in surprise along with the other members of the team gathering around the bay. I ignored them with a huge grin on my face. I cut my wrist, and as blood flowed I turned it into a large sword.

I cut the ants in half and landed on the ground in a crater. Numerous ants tried to surround me but that attempt was futile as I placed my hand on the ground.

"Blood Manipulation: Belphegor's Dungeon!" Blood flowed out of wrist at rapid rates and pooled on the ground under the ants before turning into spikes and hardening, impaling each ant. Good thing I was supplying my body with constant mana or I would've definitely bled out.

I looked up at the helicopter and gave a big thumbs up and a smile, "It's all good! You guys can come down now!" I yelled and they soon filed out of the helicopter, landing on the ground in craters.

"Hunter Natae, please, warn us next time will you?" Jong-In said with a sigh, I only nodded and we soon made our way to the ant next instead of the crater. Any straggling ant that wasn't aggro'd was properly dispatched by yours truly.

Once we finally made it inside, Jong-In put up a flame net, something I thought was super awesome, I wanna do that one day...I think my envy was present on my face because the team was laughing.

"You look like a child who's visiting Disneyland," Yoonho said with a chuckle and I couldn't help but smile, "What can I say? That's a super awesome skill and I wanna do that, because it's super awesome."

"Well, whenever you gain the ability to generate fire, I'll be your mentor," Jong-In said with a smile as we discovered the path to the queen with his ingenious strategy, now I see why they call him The Ultimate Solider.

We traveled through the nest and the royal guards were strong enough to make me use [Reinforcement] on my fists, oh here goes one now.

I ducked under the large mandibles of the gigantic red ant and simply punched it's head, making it burst like a grape, gross...

Anyways, soon after taking care of the royal guards, a giant white ant was in our view. I ramped up my mana distribution to [Reinforcement] and I could see a golden outline on my body. I think my spike in mana aggro'd the queen towards me as she screeched and charged me.

I didn't dodge her charge and took it head on, "GO!",I yelled. Just because I took it it head on doesn't mean she was easy to hold back, holy shit she was strong. Soon the team began to attack her and once I felt I was reaching my limit I threw her off me.

Dongwook quickly reattracted her aggro to him and it was time for me to work! After Jong-In's flames washed the queen, I went under her and punched her with as much force as I could currently produce. I felt her carapace crack under my fist and she was lifted into the air for a brief moment, giving Hae-In enough time to decapitate her.

Once her head rolled, the A-rank hunter from the Association was talking about this being a great achievement in Korean history, no doubt it is, but what's about to happen next will truly never be forgotten.

I could the Ant King's mana from here and I knew he was headed this way, "Guy's don't panic but something super super strong is headed right for us..." I said as I looked in the direction the Ant King was.

"Are you sure Hunter Natae?" Yoonho asked me and I nodded, I was very serious right now, this is the first fight I might die from, "Please, leave before it arrives. No disrespect or anything, but I don't want anybody holding me back, you know?" I poured my entire mana production and current reserves into [Reinforcement] and I could feel my extremely high reserves being slowly eaten away.

The golden outline turned into an aura, and my hair flared up, am I a super saiyan? I pushed the urge to laugh down and I saw that my team members still haven't left, "Why haven't you le-" He was fast! I stop tracking his location for a moment and he's already in the chamber with us. His mana pressed down on us and even I felt a bit intimidated, but instead of displaying fear, I had a smile.

He walked right past us and looked at his decapitated mother. I knew exactly what was coming next and I filled my legs with mana. Soon the Ant King screeched and vanished from my sight.

'NOW!' I let go of the mana in my legs, creating an explosive burst of energy shooting me forward. Before the Ant King's fist could make contact with Hae-In's arm I had her in a princess carry and he hit air.

I flashed Hae-In a smile, "That would have been bad huh?" I chuckled as I set her down and saw the Ant King staring at me with pure hatred. His mana leaked out of his body and collided with mine, creating pushing force between both. The pushing force only become stronger and the ground below us was beginning to crack along with the whole next beginning to rumble.

Who knew my first haki battle would be in a world where haki doesn't exist, neat. I believe my teammates knew that this battle was vastly out of their league and they slowly began to file out as I had the Ant King distracted with our little haki battle. Once the chamber was empty, I really released most of my mana, making the ground below me gain spiderweb cracks.

The Ant King did the same thing and I'm sure anyone who was highly sensitive to mana, like Hae-In, was totally fucking sick, "I'm going to end your life today, so please, clear your schedule. Matter of fact, I'll add you to mine, next week Thursday I'll come back to piss on your grave, along with your creature of a mother."

Although he couldn't understand human speech, I know he knew I was talking about his mother, as evidenced by his mana flaring and him vanishing from my vision. He reappeared within two feet of me with his left arm cocked back and claws ready to decapitate me.

I ducked under him, causing him to miss and cut the stone behind me. Now that I was below him, I hit him in the abdomen with a full power [Lazy Punch]. This attacked would have definitely killed his mother but all it did was leave a fist imprint on his carapace as he went flying across the chamber.

I heard him crash into the chamber walls and not even five seconds later, he was above me with his clawed foot coming down upon my person. I jumped back to avoid his kick, but I forgot he had wings and he abruptly stopped his attack and used to resulting momentum to send flying faster toward me.

And boy was he fast. I instinctively leaned back to dodge his attack but I still sustained a huge vertical cut on my lips and I literally saw the glint of his claws as they passed by my eyes. I was shocked at just how close I was to losing an eye or worse. I need to stop playing around.

I regained my composure and used the explosive leg burst I'm naming, [Flicker], to create distance between us. I wiped my mouth and knew this was going to be a scar, there goes my flawless skin...

Anyways, using the blood from my mouth I created hundreds of blood shards and shot them at the Ant King. They were moving as fast as AR bullets but he was deflecting them with ease. I predicted this outcome and that's why I'm now right in front of him with a [Lazy Kick] inches away from his skull. He slowly turned his head as he realized what was about to happen.

My leg crammed into his skull and I could hear a crack as he was sent flying into the chamber walls again. He crashed into the walls so hard that the entire nest began to shake violently before stopping. When the dust cloud cleared, the Ant King was emerging from his crater with a crack in his carapace with some sort of liquid oozing out. He looked at me with rage but his rage was calm, but was very obviously by the turbulent mana escaping his body.

I then saw him shrink in size and he vanished again. I scanned the entire room within milliseconds of that happening but I found my answer, the Ant King's fist was inches away from my gut and when it made contact a burning pain jolted through my entire body before I was sent packing.

I crashed into the chamber walls just as hard as he did previously, and I could feel blood escape out of my mouth. He made it through both layers of my defense, my cloak and [Reinforcement]. I didn't expect the cloak to do much but it was practically useless. I escaped my crater and tore off my cloak and tattered shirt, I was mad, really fucking mad.

I pumped crazy amounts of mana into [Flicker] and I was in front of the Ant King before the sound of my explosive departure could even reach his ears. I punched him in his ugly ant face with the same force equivalent to a few hundred pounds of C4. His carapace cracked even further, but he stood his ground and I saw that the two pincers from his abdomen were holding on to me.

I saw his mandibles gain a purple tint and I quickly pushed him off of me. I avoided a lethal poison attack but he wasn't dumb. I didn't feel it initially but when I looked down I saw my chest had a deep cut made by his claws. I was sent flying and flew through the chamber walls and into another part of the nest.

I laid in my crater with my wound bleeding rapidly, I was supplementing my body with mana but honestly, I was starting to run a bit low, guess I haven't reached the nigh-infinite stage of EFR yet...

The Ant King was slowly walking towards me and I ramped up [Reinforcement], my vision slowly began to blur from using my already low mana so heavily.

"I know you can't understand me, but just know, you are the hardest guy I've fought! I'm going to have a nice long sleep after this one..." I inhaled deeply to disregard the pain and I flickered towards the Ant King. He read my moves and our fist collided, creating a gust of wind. He tried taking off my head with his claws but I ducked under that and grabbed him by his waist before bringing him high into the air and slamming him onto the ground.

I quickly kicked him away but he stopped himself with his claws as he dug them into the ground. He then flared his wings and shot forward. I used the blood from my chest to create a few tendrils to slow him down and they did their job.

Once he was slowed, I avoided his flight path but before he could completely pass me, I grabbed him by the leg, creating intense strain on my muscles as I had to take the inertia at full force. I clenched my teeth and still through him into a the walls of the nest.

"Haaa.....Haa...Haaaa...." I was low on mana, blood, and stamina. [Reinforcement] is a great skill but it eats mana like a malnutritioned dog! The Ant King emerged from his crater and I could tell his mana was running dry as well. He didn't have that same pressure as before and his body lost that red aura.

I used [Flicker] to get in close quarters with him and tried kicking him again but I hit air and I tripped myself to avoid his sweeping attack. I performed a back handspring and used [Flicker] to reengage in combat.

This was going to be a hard fucking battle after all...
