概要

Solana Austridge has it all: beauty, brains, a multi-billion-dollar empire, and a charming husband, Julian, who dotes on her… or so it seems. Beneath the loving husband facade lies a man filled with greed whose ultimate goal is to inherit his wife’s vast fortune. But there’s just one teeny, tiny detail that Julian doesn’t know: Solana is a vampire. For centuries, Solana has lived in secret, navigating the intricacies of life, love, and loss. When she met Julian, she thought she found the one, blissfully ignoring his intense desire for her wealth more than anything else. After all, what’s life without a little risk? Now, she finds herself the target of her husband’s clumsy murder plots—from sticky car brakes and faulty parachutes to poisoned dishes and drinks. But instead of fear, she feels a twisted sense of excitement—a kind of thrill that leaves her completely entertained. How far will Julian go before he realizes the truth? However, the amusing ploy soon turns into a fatally dangerous catastrophe as Julian becomes increasingly desperate to get his inheritance. With her life and secret becoming seriously at stake, Solana must make a choice: tell Julian the truth or let him go with no memories of her whatsoever. Shortly after deciding to come clean before her husband, a former nemesis comes into the picture, wanting Solana and everyone around her dead for all eternity. Fighting against the dark forces and the unknown, Julian finds himself caught in a deadly game of survival where he must reconcile with Solana to stay alive. Will love truly conquer all, or will death finally get its due? Join Solana and Julian on their wild ride of love, lies, and immortality in a tale where happily ever after might just last forever… literally.

Chapter 1The Trouble with Love and Murder

"Love is a fire. But whether it is going to warm your hearth or burn down your house, you can never tell."

~Joan Crawford

Pale moonlight cast long shadows along the alternating spaces of the walkway leading to the banquet hall. A lone figure walked idly through it, leaving a taint of crimson with the torn and tattered hem of her long white dress. Her footprint could be traced all the way back to the gate where she had discarded the pair of glass slippers that did nothing but hurt her feet.

Festive music and vibrant laughter rang in her ears, bringing a smile to her lips that caused her to feel an inhumane excitement for what was to come. With her bloody hand, she pushed the door open. The elegant chatter of the evening died abruptly, replaced by shocked gasps and horrified whispers. At the center of the room, the crowd parted as the eldest of her siblings stepped forward.

"S-Solana?" He asked, uncertainly, his eyes traveling from her head down to her foot. "Why are you here? W-what have you done?"

The latter didn't respond, instead, she smiled triumphantly, lunging forward with a speed that caught her brother off guard. She collided with him, cutting his scream short as her fangs sank into his neck, blood gushing into her mouth.

In an instant, chaos erupted in the hall. The festive notes disappeared and were replaced by loud shrieks with everyone trying to escape Solana's grasp. A few guards tried to slice her with their sharp swords but she moved faster than they could blink, easily evading their attacks.

The carnage went on until the only living person left in the room was a bald, crippled man who had nowhere to run nor any means of escape. "Mi-miss Solana, you are not yourself," the man started, hoping to dissuade the young miss whose eyes blazed red with fury and something else.

Sensing his fear and his pulse pounding under his skin, she wiped the blood from her mouth with the back of her hand and chuckled.

"Funny how you told me the same thing ten years ago," she answered, her voice clear and sharp. "And look what I have become, Aurelius."

"But this isn't what we wanted you to become," Aurelius remarked, straining to move his body using his hands. "You're a monster."

Responding with a squeal, she approached him earnestly, watching his entire body tremble with her close proximity. "Yes," the lady merrily replied. "I am a monster—a monster you created."

*Present Day

She slowly opened her eyes, the quiet hum of the plane's engine brought out a lopsided grin to form on her lips. Squinting at the sun's rays from her window, she watched the clouds dance in her line of vision, promising a great day ahead.

"Hey there, beautiful," a gentle manly voice whispered in her ears, tickling her with his hot breath touching her skin. She turned lazily toward him, smiling.

"Hey," she leaned closer, planting a soft sweet kiss on her husband's lips. "Did you miss me?"

He kissed her back, grinning against her mouth. "I always do, Solana." He answered, slowly deepening the kiss, his lips trailing down, finding that tender spot on her neck. The sound of her breathless sigh filled the space between them, her body instinctively arching toward him.

But before he could go further, Solana pulled back, her breath slightly uneven. She managed to plaster a mischievous grin, masking her agitation. Her husband looked at her with adoration, affectionately tracing the outline of her face.

"I can't wait for it to be just you and me," he whispered, his tone deceptively smooth and seductive. "Just us... Away from everything and everyone."

She let his words hang, amused by his sincerity and unthwarted determination. And before she could dwell on it further, he kissed her again intimately, instigating the game—one where only the bold and most treacherous would survive.

The Fate Of The World Is In My Hands, But All I Want To Do Is Eat!

'Kill monsters, eat meat' 'I mean, Kill monsters, save lives. Got it.' 'Tut, I could've sworn that the first one sounded better.' She wasn't a girl looking for freedom or self-righteous liberation by a hero, or whatever shit a girl who suffered for almost all her life would crave. -the shit of a life she was living was horrible, but it was bearable, and so she got used to it. Rather, instead of freedom, what this little missy wanted was money. Lots and lots of them so she never has to worry about the next day. Money - bountiful enough that when she has to spend, she doesn't need to look back or calculate her assets to see how much she has left. Money - bountiful enough to get all the fried chicken she could ever dream of. Yeah, you heard it, fried chicken. For those who did not have money to spare leisurely, getting fried chicken was like a pipe dream to them and she had been one of those unfortunate souls. A comfortable roof above her head and no worries as to when she would get ordered around to steal. No worries about when she would get her next meal-- That was her liberation. And she got it. Just that, she got it most absurdly. Awakened! Those were the people ruling the world, alongside beastly and deadly monsters who threatened the safety of average human beings. And those awakened call the shots. Alice never dreamed she would one day be awakened, and compared to others with their game-like system displaying their attributes and strength; she had a full-grown man whom only she could hear, watching her back at every turn and telling her what to do. He was kinda a pain in the ass but she couldn't complain. It was this gift he had bestowed on her that made her the most powerful Awakened there was with stats that even S-class awakeneds couldn't compare to. She was the boss, now. Mwa-hahahahaha. But life didn't go as easy and leisurely as she planned. With great power comes great responsibility, right? Well, in her case with great power comes great hunger. She couldn't go a moment without getting hungry and her stomach had become a bottomless pit. And to get food, she needed money, and to get money, she had to hunt monsters. The monsters plagued humanity, causing catastrophes and taking lives mercilessly. Those monsters, as scary as they may be, were her target and she had to face them head-on. The bigger the monsters the more money she would gain. Yeah, that was the plan, but... This guy acting as her system seemed to have other plans, putting her at the forefront of 'justice' and having her clean the mess he somewhat created. 'Ugh, I can already sense a shadow of foreboding. Someone, please tell me I'm not acting the main character role. I just want to eat, okay?'

The Crown's Seduction

[Warning: r18+/strong mature content] He is her salvation. She, his demise. Yet, he refuses to let her go… Mineah, the youngest Princess of Ebodia, was cursed at birth to remain untainted and bring misfortune to those around her. This prophecy looms over her like a dark cloud, growing bigger every year it does not come to pass. She exists in hushed rumors as a pitiful figure - fragile, meek, unwanted. Underneath that mask is a strong and feisty vixen worthy of being a queen. And this would-be queen has set her eyes on breaking her curse, even if that means tricking the most cunning vampire ever born. Nikolai, though reclusive and enigmatic, is revered by the Kingdom of Valcrez as a wise and powerful ruler. Unbeknownst to his loyal subjects, his image of perfection is a web of lies that if exposed can send their kingdom and everything they hold dear crumbling beneath their feet. When these two find their paths crossed in a marriage alliance, the game of Crown's Seduction begins. But just who is the hunter and who is the prey? ******** Excerpt: “Why are you stripping naked in front of me?” she questioned with a frown, doing little to hide the irritation in her voice. Her goal was to capture only his heart, not his whole body! “Am I not allowed to have a bath with my wife?” he remarked with a cold tone. “I purposely asked for a big tub to just make sure that the two of us will fit in it together.” She sighed, not tearing her gaze away from him as she regained her composure. Seeing him smirk she forced herself to get comfortable as he spoke. “That’s more like it. You said it yourself that no one forced you into marrying me. Instead, you offered and volunteered yourself willingly for it, so I expect that you’ll be confident enough to share a bath with your husband,” Nikolai confidently stated. “After all, we’ll do more than this soon enough.” Shameless… Preventing herself from rolling her eyes, she managed to give him a smile as she said, “Don’t blame me if you die on me then.” **** Note: Volume 1: Main Story Status - Completed (Chapters 1 to 403) Volume 2: Side Story Status - Completed (Chapters 404 to 472) Volume 3: Side Story Status - Completed (Chapters 473 to 491) **** PS: Commissioned Book Cover owned by the Author!
