Chapter 6

3rd Person POV

After Mr. Tuason left, the Maiden immediately went straight to the kitchen. She immediately went to the refrigerator and picked up a long bottle of orange juice.

She filled the glass with juice. She immediately swallowed the orange liquid without hesitation so that the Lady was not surprised as if someone had kicked her in the chest. She sighed as she set the glass down on the table while coughing when Camille suddenly entered the kitchen, it came from sala.

Concerned it came up behind her and patted her back gently. “Are you okay Jade?” she asked worriedly.

She shook her head and wiped her lips with her arm. "I just have a problem," she said directly and was stunned somewhere.

Camille pulled her somewhere and realized that she had just made her sit on the wooden bench in the kitchen. When she saw the fork she just took it and mercilessly swallowed the red hotdog.

She ate it whole, mercilessly chewing it inside her mouth. It doesn’t matter if she dies of suffocation. She suddenly felt Camille's hot and crunchy nape on her head.

"What is happening to you?! That's not the way to kill yourself! You fool there, take it easy! Do you want to die?!" Camille preached to her, her face was just wrinkled by the strength of Camille's voice, she wondered if Mommy Tina had put a microphone in Camille's mouth.

Camille angrily took the bottle of orange liquid and refilled the glass she had used earlier. It gave it to her and made her drink like a child. She seemed to want to have a headache when she remembered what she and Mr. Tuason had talked about in her garden.

"Do you know who that person is?" a woman asked him.

It sat in front of him while watching his face. He nodded. "I already have a suspicion," he said seriously.

The woman frowned at what he had said. "What? You're going home with no news? Remember this, you're just suspicious of that person so don't just make a decision," she said seriously.

"I don't care."

"Henry, don't be like that! Think before you act! Maybe later someone will be affected by what you're going to do."

He angrily looked up at the woman. "Can you please?! Just shut up! Don't interfere with my decision because I own this life! Take care of your own life! You just warmed my head, when I said I'm going home, I'm going home!" Henry could no longer control himself and shouted at his best friend.

Its head shook several times as its eyes continued to release the salty grain of water.

"Because of her you bacome like that, I don't know you anymore because of your stupid love," she said.

It runs out of his office. He just landed on his forehead and pulled his own hair. He didn't know, he was going crazy.

Ever since the woman he loved disappeared, he has been like this. His life was out of direction.

She committed suicide because of her beloved man. That was his suspicion because when they last met she was still talking about the man she admired. And even though it seemed like his heart was being torn to pieces and burning with pain he just listened to its stories about the man she admired.

So he was sure that man was the reason why that happened to his beloved. And his system will not accept that. If only, he was the only one it loved. She would still be alive today because he would fill it with love that that man and her parents could not give without doing anything but hurt her with hurtful words.

He took a deep breath and picked up his cellphone. He immediately dialed a number on his cellphone and he immediately called his target who was his former friend when he was a child.

"Hello?!" shouted a woman on the other line.

He frowned in astonishment and pulled his cellphone away from his ear as he felt his eardrums shake. He did not call the wrong number because the number he called was correct. Her friend is known to be modest and calm so why—

"Who is this? Please, answer me, I still have a lot to do oh," it says like stress.

For no apparent reason he laughed. That was the first time he had laughed in two years. His life has been filled with grief since she disappeared.

"Jade, it’s me, Henry, how are you Pare?” He spoke.

The world of the woman on the other line seemed to stop and did not speak for a few minutes when she remembered the voice of her old friend who was their neighbor when her parents were still alive.

"Henry?! Is that you?!" ejaculation of the maiden.

Henry finally laughed again. "Yeah, it's me, what happened? Why do you seem stressed there?" he asked.

It was as if Henry's former vigor had returned in an instant. Which in turn he did not realize. Its lips are still smiling.

"Why were you just called today?" He immediately felt its sulk on him. "It's been a long time since we last talked, long time no talk!"

“I’m busy at work,” he lied.

"Ahh, Maybe you're busy running your business," Jade said. He didn't just add to what it was saying and change the subject.

"Jade."

"Yes?"

"Can I ask for a favor? "

"Yeah? What favor? Make sure it's easy," she joked.

"I'm going home to the Philippines, can I stay there with you while I'm in the philippines? I don't want to be alone in our house e."

Jade sighed in delight. "Are you coming home? Really? When are you going home?" Jade asked.

"On the weekend, oh what? Can I be there?"

"Nice! Of course, you can stay here, I'm the only one here so there's no problem, then I'm only at home at night or in the afternoon, because I have a job." He smiled. "Salamat," he said in Tagalog which means thank you.

"You can still speak Tagalog, you've been lost in the Philippines for a long time."

"Of course, I grew up in the Philippines," he said laughing.

"So what? Maybe you're still doing something there, I think I'm bothering you." He was cutting because he also had something to do, because he needed to take care of something before he went home to the Philippines.

"Alright, thank you, you reminded me, just over the weekend, huh?" Jade said.

"Yeah," he said smiling.

He dropped the call. He turned to his desk and lost his smile when his eyes landed on his beloved woman.
