Ryu: Konoha's Black Dragon

It was a early morning on konoha, the sky was shining brightly illuminating the village beautifully. In the streets of konoha the merchants were opening up their shops and the vendors were putting up their stalls.

The entire village was overlooked by the three faces of the Konoha's hokage- Hashirama Senju also known as the god of shinobi infamous for his wood release and being the arch rival to the ghost of uchiha- Madara uchiha, Tobirama Senju the 2nd hokage who was the only one to get complete mastery over the water style ninjutsu and has created a number of Justus includinh kinjutsu and the present third hokage Hiruzen Sarutobi who was known as the professor as he had mastered all the ninjutsu known in konoha and is the student of the late 1st and 2nd hokage.

If one would look closely they could see a small figure standing atop the head of the 1st hokage gazing at the village with a calm look on his face. It was a small 4 year old boy with long shoulder length silky dark voilet hair which was flowing with the wind, he was wearing a full sleeved high collared black top with black pants and shinobi sandals, he had fair skin with beautiful sharp raven black eyes.

This child was the one the uchiha clan members- Ryu Uchiha the son of the late infamous kunoichi Naori uchiha who was considered to one of the most powerful kunoichi the shinobi world has ever seen and by far the strongest uchiha kunoichi who died while giving birth to Ryu.

Ryu was considered to be a upcoming prodigy of the uchiha clan mainly due to being his mother's legacy but also due to him showing maturity beyond his age and also starting to walk, talk and write way before the other uchiha children of his age.As for Ryu he lived in his mother's house after getting out of the orphanage by the permission of the uchiha clan head- Kagami uchiha who was the student of the 2nd hokage and also a teammate to the 3rd hokage and was one of the most powerful uchihas in the history of the clan.

The clan head Kagami uchiha had restricted anyone to enter the house and had sealed it off himself, Ryu didn't remember his mother who sacrificed her life to give him one and only heard of her loving and kind nature from the clan head but he would always look at her pictures he found in the house left behind for him by his mother.

Ryu didn't care what the other people think he only wanted be strong, strong enough to make his mother proud, strong enough to protect his loved ones, strong enough to not bow down in front of anyone.

Ryu had already decided to start his training as soon as he turned four years old not wanting to waste time , he had already found hundreds of scrolls in his mother's library all sorted in the sections of taijutsu, ninjutsu, genjutsu etc he even found a couple scrolls in the kinjutsu section but left it alone knowing he was not ready for such a dangerous art.

He had already recieved the basic shinobi education from the books he read while in the orphanage sent to him by the uchiha clan head.His relationship with Kagami uchiha was pretty good considering the fact that Naori and Kagami were very good friends and used to spar with each other quite a lot back in the days.

As he looked towards the village he loved so much he couldn't help but let a small smile grace his face finding a eminent urge to keep the peace and integrity of the village intact which to do so he would have to be strong enough to at least defeat kage level opponents.

Looking at the rising orangish yellow sun he let out a small sigh and determined that it was time to go, as he just jumps straight from the hokage monument without a shread of fear. While falling downward reaching the end he takes out two kunai from his pockets and stabs it in the rock to slow down his momentum and flips in mid air then uses chakra in his feet to stick to the rocks and land smoothly on the surface after which he pockets his kunai and starts to calmy walk the streets of konoha towards the uchiha clan compound.

He had only recently unlocked his chakra and learned how to stick himself to surfaces after reading the book ' The basics of chakra and it's control' which was given to him by the clan head on his 4th birthday who from time to time visited him.

As Ryu entered the clan compound he went towards the the cemetery and now stood in front of his mother's grave, after placing the purple lilies he had picked up on the way and saying a small prayer he whispered slowly

"Kaa San I'm going to start my training today please guide me towards the right path I love you I miss you"

And wiped a stray tear that fell through his eyes and after giving a respectful bow to his mother he exited the cemetery and started walking towards the his house. While on the way to his house using his monthly allowance he fought some fish to cook for his lunch which he learned to by buying a cooking manual right after moving into his mother's house and considered himself to be quite a chef when it came to cooking fishes.

As he turned corner and reached the outskirts of the uchiha clan compound he looked at his mother's house which quite decent sized had three rooms, a library, a small indoor training hall, a dinner hall, a kitchen and medium sized training ground on the outside with a pond in the middle and couple trees here and there.

Entering his house he quickly removed his sandals and went to directly to the library where he picked up scrolls on the uchiha interceptor fist, the clone jutsu, the kawarami jutsu and the transformation jutsu, shurikenjutsu and headed to the training ground and started with his training with a excitement roaring in his viens.

After 3 hours of non stop training he was drenched in sweat and was panting slightly, he had made some progress in all the departments with the most considerable one in the interceptor fist which he soaked in like water. As Ryu got up and went back inside he took a shower changed into fresh clothes and went to the kitchen where he got to cooking his special fish delicacy he loved to eat.

By the time he was done with lunch and washing the plates it was already 3 in the evening so went straight back to training not wanting to slack off even a little bit and again picked a the shuriken and started practicing his shurikenjutsu.

After 4 hours of hard core training he was drained and was aching all over his body so he went back, took a shower and then went to the onigiri and takoyaki shops a little away from the uchiha clan compound. Everywhere he went he saw many people whispering and looking and him weirdly in his opinion especially in the uchiha compound, he knew it was because he was the son of Naori uchiha and with his striking violet hair no one could deny that but paid it no mind and amusingly thought maybe it was because he looked handsome which bought a little smirk to his lips.

As he reached the onigiri and takoyaki shop he went to the counter where he saw a old woman he knew as Miyako who was a civilian smile at home and said to him

" Oh, hello Ryu would it be the usual for you today my child?"

and ruffled his hair slightly to which he simply gave a small smile and nodded saying

" Hai Miyako baa Chan"

as she nodded and Said,

" Ok Ryu kun just wait for a while and I'll be back with your order"

After around 10 minutes Miyako came out and handed him his order for which he paid for and went and sat down on one to tables to enjoy his dinner .

After having his dinner at the takoyaki shop, where he was a regular at since he considered takoyaki a god's send, he returned home and seeing it was already dark outside he went to the library and picked up a couple of basic genjutsu scrolls and took them to his bedroom which his mother used to live in. After 2 hours of thoroughly reading through the scrolls he got a basic understanding of genjutsu and how it operated then he just set the scrolls aside and laid down on the bed and turned off the lamp giving one last look to his mother's framed picture right beside his bed and went to sleep thinking of what he should learn tomorrow as sleep took him in as he was already tired from his rigrous training.
