Chapter 1Death of Jason Harris

Jason Harris knew that he has died. It was impossible for him to still be alive as he was shot in the head.

He was on a special mission to recover an asset from Afghanistan.

The asset was a C.I.A operative.

The operative was held captive at the mission location and supposedly had a high valued Intel about a high profile target.

It was supposed to be a simple mission. Go in, find the asset, recover, meet at the rally point and takeoff. Yet, during the takeoff, one of the hostiles shot down the chopper with R.P.G.

His team managed to find a gunboat after a few minutes of gunfight and running, since the rally point was near a river, but he stayed behind as he noticed that one of the hostiles was holding a grenade launcher. It wouldn't be a problem if it was the chopper, but the gunboat could't handle a barrage of grenades.

At the end, he managed to take down the enemy and shot down most of the other hostiles that were engaging his team with that grenade launcher he just took, but at the end he was shot in the thigh with a high powered rifle.

As he couldn't run away, he knew he was done.

Indeed, a man with a long beard walked towards him slowly as Jason was lying down on his back, all out of ammo and then, the man shot him with his sidearm. Right through the head. Jason could see the bullet in a slow motion at that time and that instant felt like several minutes.

Many thoughts crossed his mind at that time, mostly just memories about the life he had lived, but one thing was certain. He felt no regret. He had lived a life without any regrets.

After a very long time after losing consciousness, Jason felt like he was floating on the surface of water and gradually sinking down, yet he felt at peace, like he was returning to where he belonged.

Just when he felt like his head was about to submerge, he felt a tug on his arm and then, he woke up with a jerk.

First some headache and then, he tried to open his eyes, trying to adjust to the light.

After opening his eyes, he looked around to find out where he was.

He was expecting a lot of things. A magnificent white palace, a beautiful garden or even the fires of hell. Yet this was something he wasn't expecting.

He found himself in a big peculiar room. Peculiar because of the strange taste of the owner of the place. The room was designed in an antique fashion with not one modern thing in it.

Looking up from the bed towards your feet, you would find a round glass table with chairs arranged around it and further down from it, a fireplace. On the right side, a long study table with chairs and right next to which, a glass window. On the left side of the bed was a small library, right next to which was a door. Behind the bed were shelves which were designed quite beautifully.

The walls were rough with a faint smell of soil, so this place was not made of wood.

Jason had many questions in his mind. He had never prayed all his life, but if this was indeed the afterlife, then he would like to ask where he was.

In case if he was alive, not matter how less likely that was, he would like to know who saved him, why and how.

As many questions were going through his mind, he felt a throbbing headache and then, he lost consciousness.

Marvel: Ned the Master of Mystic Arts

A smart teenager from our universe wakes up in the Marvel Universe as Ned Leeds, Spider-Man's best friend. But this isn’t the Ned you think you know. In his original world, he was a die-hard Marvel fan. He had seen every movie, binge-watched every series, and delved deep into the lore of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Armed with an intricate knowledge of the future, he begins to subtly manipulate events in this universe, steering them toward a perfect future—one where the tragedies and heartbreaks of the Marvel universe can be avoided. When fate introduces him to the Mystic Arts, the world quickly realizes that Ned is far more than just comic relief. Even the Ancient One has to admit, "I was wrong—Ned is the best among us." With the Cloak of Levitation practically begging to stay by his side and powerful sorcery flowing through him, Ned becomes a rising star in the Marvel universe. His adventures don’t stop there. With his newfound abilities, Ned discovers the secrets of the multiverse and begins traveling across dimensions. From solving problems in alternate realities to mending broken worlds, Ned takes on challenges that even seasoned heroes wouldn’t dare to face. As he hops between universes, he learns the complexities of destiny, morality, and the weight of wielding such power. By knowing how events play out in the movies and series he once adored, Ned finds himself in a unique position to rewrite the timeline. Whether it’s nudging heroes like Tony Stark, Doctor Strange, or Thor to make better decisions or preventing devastating events like the Snap before they happen, his interventions slowly reshape the course of history. But with great knowledge comes great responsibility, and Ned soon realizes that altering the timeline is more complicated—and dangerous—than he could have imagined. Things aren’t all smooth sailing, though. After his dramatic glow-up—both in terms of magic and physique—his relationships start to shift. Even Wong can’t help but notice the peculiar way people glance at him now. "Ned’s a great guy, really. But after the weight loss… I can’t explain it, but something’s different." With humor, heart, and a heap of magical mishaps, Marvel: Ned the Master of Mystic Arts reimagines Ned Leeds as a master of mystic arts, juggling friendships, rewriting timelines, traveling through dimensions, and reshaping the chaotic Marvel universe.
