Chapter 1I got a new life with a damned system!

I'm Dan. Lee Dan. A not-so-popular K-pop idol. Shouldn't I be dead by now? I thought the same thing.

[The system is loading.]

Before my eyes materialized a transparent dialog box. What nonsense was this? I frantically shook my head, trying to dispel the apparition, but it remained stubbornly in place.

[New user identified. User ID Lee Dan, twenty-two years old, member of the K-pop group Wizardy.] A mechanical voice, reminiscent of Google Assistant, echoed in my mind as the dialog box transformed.

"What the hell?" I exclaimed, startled into jumping off the bed.

[Sorry! That word is not in my system. Would you like to enter its meaning?]

"What's going on?" I muttered to myself, my voice echoing in the silence of the room.

Surely that mechanical voice is coming from inside my head. Then what is this dialog box that turns in the direction that my eyes turn?

I blinked, and the transparent dialog box flickered before me as if responding to my unspoken query. A new message appeared, its text glowing with an ethereal light.

[You have been chosen to live a new life. Please conform to the system from now on. Clear the way for a new life by removing past mistakes. If you want to get rid of your old character, please unlock the OOC feature first.]

My mind reeled, struggling to process the absurdity of the situation. I was dead, wasn't I? Or at least I should have been. How was I back here, in my room, interacting with a mysterious dialog box that seemed to have a life of its own?

I reached out my hand, tentatively touching the dialog box. It was as if I was brushing against a thin veil of energy, the sensation both strange and intriguing.

"OOC feature?" I murmured, repeating the unfamiliar term. What did it mean? Could it be the key to unlocking the secrets of my newfound existence?

[OOC stands for Out of Character! What the hell!]

my god! I am speechless. Is this Google Assistant stealing my words? This system, or whatever it was, was completely out of control. It was like arguing with a malfunctioning robot. Could this be Google Assistant playing some kind of strange prank on me?

A sudden realization struck me. My previous life had been shattered by a single, grave error. Kang In Woo! Why couldn't I recall anything about that fateful moment? If I had been granted a second chance, should I not seize it?

Wait a minute, I hadn't killed Kang In Woo yet, had I? A sense of dread crept over me.

"What year is it?" I inquired, directing my question at the enigmatic dialogue box, even though I felt like a raving lunatic. The system, seemingly undeterred by my outburst, launched into another round of self-praise.

[Currently, the year is 2022. Would you like a more detailed explanation?]

Oh, thanks god! It is not 2023 yet.

"Have you kept full details for so long and split this nonsense?" I screamed loudly.

[You didn't ask me first. What the hell!]

"Stop saying, what the hell."

[WHAT THE HELL!!!!!!!]

The system's blatant disregard for my request left me utterly flabbergasted.

"Listen here," I said firmly, attempting to regain some semblance of composure. "I've had enough of your inane ramblings. Answer my questions properly, or I'll find a way to silence you once and for all."

The system fell silent for a moment as if processing my words. Then, the dialog box flickered and a new message appeared.

[Please specify your inquiry.]

"Alright," I said, taking a deep breath. "First, tell me everything you know about my past life."

The dialog box buzzed with activity, and lines of text began to scroll across the screen. I read them avidly, my heart pounding in my chest.

As I delved deeper into my past, a sense of dread washed over me. The memories came flooding back, the guilt and regret overwhelming me. I had made a terrible mistake, one that had ruined my life and the life of another.

But even in the system why doesn't it tell how I killed In Woo and where, when did it happen?

I closed my eyes, tears welling up in my eyes. I couldn't believe I had forgotten such a crucial part of my past. It was as if someone had erased it from my mind.

"Why did I forget?" I whispered to myself.

The system remained silent, but I could feel its presence, a watchful observer in my mind.

"Tell me how did I kill Kang In Woo?" I asked.

[Please first complete your tasks. Then the memory will unlock.]

WHAT THE HELL IS THIS!!! HOW CAN SOMEONE LOCK MY OWN MEMORY???????

"Alright, so what kind of tasks do I have to complete? Give me the full description you mentioned," I demanded, my voice laced with frustration.

[To unlock the OOC feature, you must first accumulate points by completing tasks provided by the system.

The OOC feature will become available once you have earned a total of 1000 points.

Before reaching that threshold, any actions that deviate from your established character will result in deductions from your starting score.

If your score drops to zero, your new life will abruptly end.

Additionally, the points you gather can be used to unlock new items and memories.]

I only have myself to blame for this damn OCC. Oh God, if I had behaved like a good person in my past life, this would not have happened.

"Tell me more about this OOC feature," I said, my voice firm.

The dialog box flickered, and a new message appeared.

[The OOC feature allows you to step outside of your predetermined character. This can be useful for avoiding certain plot points or making different choices that may lead to a different outcome.]

I read the message carefully, my mind racing. Could this be the key to changing my fate? Could I use this feature to prevent myself from making the same mistakes again?

I felt a spark of hope ignite within me. Maybe, just maybe, I could finally have a chance to live a happy and fulfilling life.

Crossdressing To Survive An Apocalypse [BL]

Zou Yue jumped to the side, dodging an extended claw of a growling zombie. A pair of warm hands gripped his small waist from behind and pulled him over to a sturdy chest. The same pair of hands slowly groped his chest. “Brother fan w—what are you doing?!” Zou carefully looked up at him. Fan Xui smirked mysteriously at him and removed the huge shades stylishly. A clear pair of eyes met Zou’s challengingly. “since I saved you just now, why don’t you give me a kiss?” “you... you can see!!! Aren’t you blind!!!” Zou Yue glanced in shock. He pushed himself for of his body. Fan Xui laughed out loud, gently caressing Zou’s long black hair. “are you gonna leave me now?,” he continued groping his barely their chest through his girly tank top. “Fuck yeah!! Let go you poser.” he pushed him away and started shooting the zombies outside with renewed passion. Fan suddenly caught his wrist. “You bastard, what are you doing, let go of my hand. The zombies are coming!!!” “Hmm okay,” Fan Xui let go. He swiftly snapped a fluffy handcuff snugly on his wrist, tying them both together. “Now we are tied together for live and death,” “FAN. XUI!! Get this off of me!” Zou growled at him, but the young man just laughed happily. “Sigh, you are beautiful even when you are angry, dear,” Fan Xui whispered and pulled him up for a passionate kiss. He gently bit those soft lips and moaned. “Delicious,” Letting go, he slowly waved his hand towards the upcoming zombies and they are reduced to ashes.

That's when Asher found himself all alone, confused about his own identity and worrying about his future. What did she say? -He was someone special? -Someone people would come after? She said he was coming from a very rare but also a very special race called omega where men could get pregnant. Was it real? At first, Asher strictly refused to accept his mother's confession. But in the end, he had to believe it. Because it was the bitter truth. If he was really coming from such a rare race, and had such a special body, did he have to live all his life hiding so he wouldn't get caught and become someone's plaything? Was that the only way to avoid getting the bad ending his father got? Why was he even born as someone like this?! He just wanted a peaceful life. So, it wouldn't be as dangerous as his mother said if he just forgot he was special and lived like a normal person, right? People would not notice. Alas, it's been a long time since people last saw an omega and they must be believing no omega exists now. At least that's what he thought... He thought people might have forgotten about his existence and he would not have to face any problems in the future.  Whether he was special or not, he still became a target. When he was kidnapped and auctioned as a slave, he regretted ignoring his mother's last advice. "Don't trust anyone easily. Your safety is in your hands and protecting yourself is your duty." He could only blame himself and expect for the worst if his special identity was to get revealed and meet the same end as his father did. However, his fate gave him a second chance along with a huge surprise which changed his life for the better. Hopefully, Asher was saved by the so-called 'bloodthirsty monster' duke and brought to his mansion to babysit his spoiled 10-year-old little sister who threw tantrums declaring she wants Asher to pat her head and comfort her. Just to babysit this adorable, little girl.  He was safe. His secret was also secured within himself. Thanks to that chaotic sister and brother, Asher's life slowly took new turns and continued with almost no obstacles...till some point. The surprise? The duke happened to have some kind of a 'strange' illness that had no cure. Not long after when Asher discovered it, he ended up becoming the perfect cure for his illness. But how? -Remember? He was 'special'! Where would his specialty as an omega lead his life to? What kind of mysteries would he have to encounter with this duke wishing comfort from him?  Will the duke's 'strange' illness ever get healed? How would their story flow to that perfect happy ending with the twist of love landing in the middle of their 'just a deal'? ________________ Note:  This story continues in a historical timeline. Similar to omegaverse, but not the same omegaverse universe. Magic, revenge, dukes, royal families, curses, spells, heats, ruts... (The book cover is from Pinterest. Respect to the artist.)

Song of the Gardener of Souls [BL]

Rowan sees beauty in death. The Order he has sworn to obey only sees defilement. As the reviled Caretaker of the Order, Rowan has accepted his role as a dutiful outcast because he believes it is the only way to prove his worth to the man who holds his sisters’ souls as collateral. With his magic and his voice, Rowan can absorb death and transform it, but only in ways the Order deems acceptable to maintain the stability of the reality it claims to protect Order must subdue Disorder. Reality must triumph over illusion. He is tainted and always will be. Rowan has never questioned those lessons, but that changes the night he harvests a crimson soul that is more than human and chooses to keep it a secret. When Rowan’s song transforms that soul into a beautiful and mysterious man he names Wren, he is forced to accept that sometimes duty is a lie and illusion is the only thing you can trust. As the fabric of the Order begins to unwind and a new kind of Disorder takes hold, Rowan will need to choose again, stand with the Order that held him down, or forge a new path with Wren at his side. He may be the only one who can restore balance to the worlds, but only if he can find balance within himself first. ************************************* Updates 3-4 times per week. Note: This story focuses on relationships. I promise an epic romance, lots of swoon-worthy moments, and a healthy amount of fluff. When it does get steamy…you might get burned. Fair warning for explicit content. I don’t shy away from my spice. There are lots of side characters and couples to fall in love with, in addition to the main couple. If you love the idea of found family, you will be happy. This book is set in a non-heteronormative world, so you will see various gender identities/expressions and types of love. ************************************* Excerpt (if you want the full steamy version, you will have to read the book!): Still reeling from the new magic that coursed under his skin and unsure of how to react to the desire that threatened to take control of him, Rowan froze. Wren's hot breath against his mouth sent a jolt of pleasure through his body, and he choked back a groan. A different kind of panic flared in Rowan's chest, burning him as if he were the one on fire. This was what he wanted, what he'd thought about every night since Wren left. But wanting more was one thing. Acting on it was another. He'd spent so much of his life hiding, he didn't know how to do anything else. One corner of Wren's mouth twitched as Rowan pulled away. When he attempted to free himself from Wren's grasp, Wren just hauled him closer. Rowan liked that he didn't have to think about what to do next. His bare chest thudded against Wren's torso, and the heat from Wren's body merged with Rowan's skin, melting him from the inside out. "What did you just do to me?" Wren's deep voice vibrated against Rowan's chest. "The Disorder of your illusion was holding you captive. I…I absorbed it." "Oh? Where did you learn to do that? Have I been gone that long?" Wren's grip loosened slightly on Rowan's wrists as if he was satisfied now that Rowan was practically sitting on top him. Rowan stared at Wren's lips. He opened his mouth to protest, but immediately closed it again. "I know you aren't going to say that I shouldn't touch you." Wren's free hand splayed over the small of Rowan's back. "Not when you started it." Rowan's breath hitched. "No. I'm not going to say that anymore. Not to you." "I thought you were afraid to be touched." Wren's fingers traced a circle over the curve of Rowan's spine as if testing for a reaction. "I know that I'm not afraid of you." Rowan waited for the panic to set in, but all he felt was desire. "With you, I want…" "You want what?" "I want more." Triumph flared in Wren's gaze before he narrowed his eyes. "Really? Then why are you still trying to get away from me?"

(BL) The Villain wants a Divorce!

It always starts with an accident. That’s how all these stories go. One moment, you’re minding your own business, and the next, you wake up in someone else’s body. For Caspian, his accident started earlier than he even knew. Maybe it began when his sister got him into romance novels? Or when he started really sympathizing with the villains at the ends of books? He’d never know. It was too late to worry about it now. For now, he had to find a way to fix this nightmare, or rehabilitate his image, all while trying to free himself from the fate set out for him. All because of the damn "gods" who he'd cut a deal with. These were the only two options he had available, and he wasn’t sure he could succeed at either. The man he had taken over for had been…a true piece of work. And the secret villain of the book he had been reading before he passed. It had been a harem novel. A reverse harem novel. He was trapped in a huge ass CASTLE with a bunch of men who hated him because he was taking affection and time away from their shared wife. All Cass wanted to do was be a good person, not mess around with this poor woman and her far too handsome husbands. But why would no one leave him alone? Was he too suspicious? And why, after going out of his way to avoid them like they had asked, did they keep pestering him? And where did the heroine go? How was he going to manage three, handsome men without the heroine?
