Training with Yubelluna

I remember that it has been months since I brought Yubelluna to live with us.

I started teaching Yubelluna magic because she showed exceptional intelligence despite her age.

Based on my memories of her, I decided to search the family library for books on explosive magic for her training.

I taught her explosive magic because it was mentioned in the anime that she was a genius in that field.

So, I decided to stick with that and taught her that magic while also giving her some advice to improve.

But anyway, I'm not here to talk about that, but rather because in a few hours in the afternoon, I'll be training with Yubelluna to see her progress.

Although, well, I'll only be using my fire magic.

The sun shone high in the sky as Riser and Yubelluna prepared for their training match. Riser, with his cunning and confident gaze, was excited to train and test his power.

"Yubelluna, I'm eager to see how you've progressed in your control of explosive magic," said Riser, with a self-assured smile. "But remember, strategic ability and intelligence are also crucial in battle."

Yubelluna, aware of her weakness compared to Riser, nodded with determination. She knew she didn't possess the raw power that he did, but she was determined not to give up easily and to do her best to challenge him.

The battle began with a burst of energy. Riser, with agile and elegant movements, created a series of dancing flames around him, while Yubelluna channeled her explosive magic into her hands, ready to respond.

Riser unleashed bursts of fire towards Yubelluna, who skillfully dodged them and countered with controlled explosions. However, Riser moved with impressive cunning, anticipating each of her moves and evading her attacks with ease.

"Is that all you can do, Yubelluna?" taunted Riser with a challenging smile. "I thought you would be a challenge for me."

Yubelluna, though intimidated by Riser's abilities, didn't give up. She knew she had to find a way to overcome her disadvantage. She closely observed Riser's movements and noticed a pattern in his fire attacks.

With cunning, Yubelluna used her explosive magic to create a defensive barrier while studying Riser's moves. Instead of attacking directly, she waited for the opportune moment and, with millimeter precision, created a concentrated explosion beneath Riser's feet, throwing him off balance.

Riser was thrown into the air but quickly used his control over fire to cushion his fall. He landed gracefully, a defiant look in his eyes.

"Interesting, Yubelluna," said Riser, admiring her strategy. "It seems you've learned something from my moves. But let me show you the difference between us."

Riser concentrated his magical energy and unleashed his special technique: "Burning Inferno." In the blink of an eye, the flames around him grew in size and ferocity, enveloping him in a crown of fire. The temperature drastically increased, creating a wave of heat that filled the training field.

Yubelluna, amazed by Riser's display of power, knew she had to stay calm. She used her agility and swiftness to dodge the blazing flames that surrounded her while searching for an opportunity to counterattack.

Riser, with a defiant gaze, launched massive fireballs towards Yubelluna , who skillfully evaded them with graceful movements. But she knew she couldn't evade them forever and decided it was time to showcase her own explosive ability.

Concentrating her magic into an energy sphere, Yubelluna launched it into the air. The sphere split into multiple explosive projectiles that surrounded Riser from different directions. Rapidly, they detonated in a burst of lights and sounds, creating a curtain of smoke that obscured vision.

Amidst the chaos, Yubelluna moved stealthily, using the smoke as cover. Meanwhile, Riser maintained his defensive stance, relying on his ability to control the flames and withstand the explosive onslaught.

Suddenly, Yubelluna emerged from the smoke, unleashing her final attack. She channeled all her energy into a single explosive projectile aimed directly at Riser. The blast would be enough to defeat him.

However, Riser wouldn't be intimidated. With a quick hand motion, he generated a concentrated burst of fire that enveloped the explosive projectile. The flames danced around it, creating a protective barrier that halted it in its tracks.

Yubelluna's gaze shifted from astonishment to determination as she met Riser's proud smile.

"Yubelluna, you've shown great cunning and skill in this battle," said Riser, admiring her prowess. "You are truly formidable, but remember not to be arrogant with the power you possess now and continue to train."

Riser then approached Yubelluna and offered her a hand to help her up.

Yubelluna accepted Riser's hand and rose to her feet with his assistance. Though she had been defeated, her spirit remained unbroken. She admired Riser's strength and intelligence but was also determined to grow and improve.

"Riser-sama, once again, you have shown yourself to be my powerful master," said Yubelluna, with a smile. "Your cunning and mastery of the flames are impressive. But I won't underestimate you; I will continue striving to reach my full potential."

Riser nodded approvingly. "That's what I like about you, Yubelluna. Your determination and willingness to surpass yourself are admirable. Together, we will keep growing and become an unstoppable force."

After the intense battle, Riser and Yubelluna decided to spend the evening relaxing and recovering. They headed back to the house, where they shared a delicious meal and talked about their experiences in battle and their training.

As they enjoyed their meal, they exchanged advice and strategies. Riser shared his knowledge from his past life about explosive magic, giving Yubelluna tips on how to improve and utilize her magic more efficiently.

The conversation grew lively and filled with laughter, with Riser showing how much he cared for her.

After the meal, they returned to the training field to continue their practice. Together, they explored new tactics, challenging each other to surpass their limits and reach new levels of power.

The afternoon turned into night, but their training spirit did not waver. Riser and Yubelluna continued practicing until their bodies and minds were exhausted. They bid each other farewell for the day with smiles on their faces and, after an intense training session, returned to the house to take a bath and sleep because it was already late.
