Meanwhile, on both Olympus and the mortal world, a full-scale war had began in full swing. And the first casualties of the war, was the Oracle Shrine, mortal subordinates of the Theoi Mantikoi.
In just one day, the War Shrine invaded the Oracle Shrine with over a million soldiers, an overkill considering that the Oracle Shrine weren't even known for their battle strength. But to this, the higher-ups of the War Shrine only felt it wasn't nearly enough.
As for the reason? It was quite simple.
The Oracle Shrine only recruited individuals with prophetic talents, and as such, had only members who could peer into the past, future, or present, albeit with only the blessings bestowed upon them by their Deities. With this kind of opponent, the War Shrine would only be shooting themselves in the foot if they didn't uproot them first.
