You and I need to talk young lady

The next morning the cellphone begin to ring. Yang Jia was so tired that she didn't have the strength to pick up the phone. The ringing stopped for a second, but then it begin to ring again.

Yang Jia groaned in annoyance, she picked up the phone and answered the call, but before she could start scolding the person in the the other end of the phone a strong and powerful voice of an elderly man went through her ears.

"Xiao Jia, why don't you answer the phone? Am I that unimportant to you that you don't bother to answer my calls?" Grandpa Yang said in a hurt tone.

Yang Jia giggled, she knew her grandfather was just joking. At first sight, he could scare everyone out of their wits, but when you get to know him, he's one humorous old man.

"Sorry Grandpa, I just woke up" she apologized

Grandpa Yang sighed "Don't worry my beloved granddaughter. How could I ever be mad at you?

I arrived this morning from my trip, right now I'm at the old Yang ancestral home... You and I need to talk young lady" His tone changed into a serious one on the last sentence

For some reason, Yang Jia had a bad feeling. "Okay I'll be there soon. Bye bye. I love you"

She hurriedly hanged up, before her grandfather could say another word

Yang Jia sighed, she had a guess of what she was going to talk about with her grandad

Just when she was about to start thinking of a way to explain everything to her grandfather a knock sound came from the other side of the door

"Who is it?" She asked unknowingly

"It's me" a low enchanting voice came from the other side of the room

Yang Jia started panicking when she heard his voice

"I uh uh" she just couldn't find any words to say

Liang Guozhi could clearly hear the hesitation on her voice. It somehow made his heart empty. Maybe he shouldn't have taken it too far in the car. If that didn't happen, then she wouldn't be avoiding him now

"I um I'm changing right now" her voice was heard from the other side of the door

"Oh I see, I won't bother you anymore" he said in a disappointed tone

Yang Jia could hear the disappointment in his voice, as well as the footsteps fading away soon after.

Every step that drifted farther away was a big blow to Yang Jia's heart. She felt bad that she kept ignoring him, but if she were to be right in front of him face to face, her heart will start to race and her cheeks would flush. She would act all flustered in front of him.

Maybe she was just overreacting. Seriously? Just because they made out inside his car, she was going to ignore him for God's know how much time?

And she obviously clearly enjoyed that make out session. She wasn't going to lie, but she loved the electric waves that flowed through her body whenever he kissed her. The burning sensations she felt when he touched her.

Yang Jia didn't know when she started thinking about Liang Guozhi, but she found herself craving for his lips pressed onto hers. The heat of his hands touching her body.

Yang Jia snapped out of her thoughts and slapped her cheeks with both of her hands to get rid of the dangerous thoughts drifting into her mind.

Yang Jia quickly changed and left the Zhi Villa toward the Yang ancestral home without informing Liang Guozhi, Aunt Mei, and Butler Tian. Except for Duke, though reluctant as always he let her leave because he knew that she will always come back to him, so he wasn't as depressed as he used to be whenever she left.

It took almost two hours to arrive at the Yang ancestral home. The maids and the workers greeted her up at the front of the gate. When she entered the mansion, she saw the same old rustic decorations. The floor was made out of wood and the antiques that were placed around the house were ancient, but well treated. In just one glance you could tell that those antiques stayed in the same spot for generations.

Yang Jia walked toward and saw an elderly man with wrinkled features and grey hair, but still healthy; looking at a picture with full of longing in his eyes.

Yang Jia knew which picture he was looking at. It was a picture of her grandmother. She passed away not long ago after Yang Jia started filming the 'Beginning of Summer'

Her Grandmother died because of a natural death. She had trouble breathing and slowly her body lost its feeling. The days went by and her health deteriorated. There was nothing the doctors could do and eventually she passed away. Now she's resting in peace in heaven.

Yang Jia was devastated when she found out the her Grandma passed away. She was in France filming when she found out. The thing she regrets the most was not being able to stay with her on her last days few days and bid farewell when she passed.

Grandpa Yang looked up and saw Yang Jia. A doting smile formed on his face.

"Thinking about Grandma?" She asked almost in a whisper

Grandpa Yang looked back at the picture and nodded "I miss her so much"

Yang Jia sat next to her grandfather and hugged him

"I miss her too"

Grandpa Yang kept his gaze on the picture and said "You know... your grandmother used to say that if one day we were to die, that she would want to pass away first than me because if it was the other way around, she wouldn't be able to tolerate the fact of losing me...

And she got what she wished" A sad smile formed on Grandpa Yang's face
