Liang Guozhi grabbed the folder and signaled his assistant to leave.

He opened the folder and started reading through its contents. Zhang Corporation has been a successful business company over two decades now. Though it hasn't progressed to greater heights since Zhang Wei took over, the company is run at a steady pace.

It seemed that Yang Jia's engagement with him was arranged by her grandfather. It also showed that Zhang Wei is also a leader of one of the biggest organizations in the underworld named Dark Blade.

On the documents showed how long he has been cheating on Yang Jia. Its been four years now. It showed when Zhang Wei was caught cheating and how he threw Yang Jia into a forest like a piece of trash.

Liang Guozhi closed the folder and placed it on his desk. He leaned back in the chair and closed his eyes. He took a big breath and controlled the rage that was about to burst out in the open at any second.

His eyes opened and they became full of bloodlust. His eyes were darker, devoid of any emotion other than killing intent.

He can let pass that fact that he attacked him, but abusing his woman. It was as if he was asking for a death wish

He glanced at the picture of him and Yang Jia and gentle smile slowly formed. She might be ignoring him right now and it does ache his heart, but how could he ever be mad at her. Looking at her innocent face, his heart softened. Oh she had no idea how much he loved her. He loved her beauty, her personality, and her perfect imperfections. He loved everything of her.

He wished that they were together married, with a child in their arms. He wished they could create a family with her by his side.
