I’ll kill that bastard

Liang Guozhi walked towards the library shelve and opened a small secret compartment. Inside the compartment there was a letter, it seemed really old.

He opened the letter and read the last line 'Don't get close to any girls because you're mine' His lips lifted up. This line always made him happy.

She promised that she'll come, so he will wait.

Liang Guozhi looked at his watch and grabbed his car keys and went to his car.

When he arrived at the destination and was about to enter a few man stopped right in front of him.

Liang Guozhi frowned and said coldly "What is going on here?"

"I'm sorry sir this is restricted area" one of the bodyguards guarding this place said. The bodyguards obviously didn't know who this man was.

Liang Guozhi furrowed his brows "Move aside" he said coldly.

The bodyguard felt a chill run down his back 'Who is this guy? He is more intimidating than young master Wei'

Even though the bodyguard were kinda scared of this man because of his intimidating aura, he still needed to follow his master's orders "I'm sorry sir, please leave now or we are going to use violence"

"I want to see who dares to stop me" Liang Guozhi was already getting angry and impatient.

The bodyguard could tell that this man was no ordinary man "Sir you give me no choice" in that moment all the bodyguards surrounded Liang Guozhi.

Liang Guozhi grinned

"Get him and throw him out of this place!" The bodyguards started to attack Liang Guozhi

Liang Guozhi looked very calm that it was almost terrifying. When one of the bodyguards was about to land the first punch, Liang Guozhi suddenly disappeared. In the next second all the bodyguards except the one that was just talking, fell to the ground.

Liang Guozhi appeared right behind them and walked right in front of the bodyguard, that just happens to wet his pants.

Liang Guozhi grabbed him from the collar and said in a calm and cold voice " Why are y'all in this forest?"

This forest was her favorite place and he would destroy the person who would try to harm it.

"I..I.I" the bodyguard was to scared he couldn't even speak.

"Answer me or your fate will be worse than all of this bodyguards" He threatened

"Why should I tell you" Even though he was scared out of his wits, he would never betray his young master, he'll rather die.

"Alright" Liang Guozhi said and took out a whistle.

The whistle was very unique, it's sound was different from the others. Liang Guozhi created this whistle to call out one person.

He put the whistle in between his lips and started blowing in, the bodyguard was confused because he couldn't hear the sound coming from the whistle. 'It seems to be broken' he thought, but what he didn't know was that someone clearly heard it.

The Tiger's Den

It was already dark, so Yang Jia and Duke decided to go to sleep. Duke was laying down on his rug while Yang Jia was right next to him sleeping soundly and using his fur for warmth.

Duke was about to go to sleep when he heard the beautiful sound of the whistle, instantly the image of that man appeared in his mind, it seems that man needed his help, but for what?

Duke got up slowly and quietly, scared that he would wake up Yang Jia and left following the sound of the whistle as fast as he could.

The bodyguard started laughing and looked at Liang Guozhi as he was an idiot "Hahaha Do you think a broken whistle is going to scare me, hahah oh look I'm soo scared haha"

Liang Guozhi looked at the bodyguard and glanced at the shadow coming out of the shadows behind the bodyguard and grinned.

The bodyguard laughed even harder not noticing a big white cat behind him. The next second he heard a loud and angry roar.

The bodyguard stood paralyzed, scared to turn around.

Duke walked from behind him and strolled over to Liang Guozhi's side. Even though they weren't that close, Duke would always help him because Liang Guozhi helped him as well and because he also kept his promise to her.

And because of that he will always be grateful to him.

"Have you ever heard that whoever steps on inside this forest never come out alive. Look at the beast in front of you, he is the cause of the deaths of those people" Liang Guozhi said a he tighten his grip on the bodyguard's collar "And you would be no exception, now tell me what is going on here"

The bodyguard couldn't take it anymore, he didn't want to be eaten alive " Fine fine I'll confess"

"Speak" Liang Guozhi said coldly

"My boss threw a woman into the forest and told us to watch her not to come out" The bodyguard said all in one breath.

Duke roared louder and looked like he was about to pounce on the bodyguard. This time he was really angry.

Liang Guozhi noticed Duke's reaction and furrowed his eyebrows. It seems Duke knows about this girl, but why did he have this kind of reaction.

As soon as Duke was about to pounce on him, Liang Guozhi immediately stopped him and glared at him as if saying 'We can't attack, we need more information'

Duke looked at him and reluctantly backed away

Liang Guozhi looked at the bodyguard and asked coldly "Who's your boss?"

The bodyguard couldn't take anymore "His name is Zhang Wei"

'That spoiled young master?' He thought and said "Thank you for the information" Liang Guozhi looked at Duke and said "He's all yours"

The bodyguard froze "You're kidding right? You said if I told you, I would live"

Liang Guozhi smirked "Every word that comes out from my mouth is a promise and I recall clearly those words have never come out from my mouth"

After he said that, Duke pounce on the bodyguard and ripping him to shreds. He could hear his screams while getting attacked. Every second that passed the bodyguard's scream got quieter and quieter until there was no sound at all.

Liang Guozhi looked at Duke and both of them walked into the forest.

Liang Guozhi knew that there were more of Zhang Wei's man around and they probably already notified him about the scene that happened, but he wasn't worried. He would destroy the person that tries to mess with this forest.

Liang Guozhi and Duke entered the 'Tiger's Den' and the first thing he saw was a soft female body on Duke's rug.

His heart skipped a beat for a second and walked close to her. He saw her beautiful face, soft pink lips and small pointed nose, her skin soft as a feather. It was as if it came out of a painting. He recognized her immediately.

Liang Guozhi looked at her for a second and then glanced at Duke and asked to confirm if it was her "Is it her?" His voiced trembled, hardly able to speak.

Duke knew he asked two questions at one. The first one was if she was Yang Jia and second one was if she was the girl the bodyguard was talking about.

Duke slowly nodded. There was hatred in his eyes, but not as intense as Liang Guozhi's

"I'll kill that bastard" he said, his voice full of hatred

Every word that comes out from his mouth is a promise.
