A man stood in-front of a fountain in beacon grounds. The fountain was to the south of the auditorium which was where the party would take place. The man had light brown hair and reddish brown eyes, he wore a white shirt with a beige/brown blazer along with a red tie. He wore formal pants and shoes along with his blazer and tie, making him look like a business. He wore the mask of a crow with a small beak which was not longer than a small eraser.

The brunette stared at a beautiful girl wearing a turtleneck sleeveless red dress with her back exposed, the dress matched her hair while her eyes matched the emerald earrings she wore. She wore the mask of a red panda which covered her face until her nose and mouth which were exposed.

She seemed to be lost as she looked left and right for something she could not find. Walking up to her, the boy smirked and took her hand. The girl aggressively turned around and got into a defensive stance as she stared at the Brunette's eyes. "I do believe this is the opposite of how we met in Kindergarten." The boy said, making the red-haired spartan narrow her eyes in confusion as she stared at the man's dull brown eyes.

"Light?" She asked getting closer to his face to check if it was really who she thought it was.

"Well yes… That is my name." The boy answered in a flat and monotonous, but at the same time amused tone. The girl wrapped her arms around the boy and hugged him close.

"It's been so long since I've seen you outside a room in a hotel or apartment!" She declared happily. The boy awkwardly wrapped his arms around her and patted her back, not knowing exactly what to do in such a situation.

"And yea, this is a bit different from our meeting in Kindergarten." She giggled, letting him go and putting a hand on her mouth to cover her fit of laughter.

"Because after I tried to tap your shoulder you kicked my face." She said rubbing her nose unconsciously, the boy nodded at the statement and then reached out his arm, inviting her to the dance.

"Would you like to accompany me to the dance?" He asked. Pyrrha took his hand and then hooked her arm with his as they made their way to the auditorium.

"I see you put on the earrings I gave you." Light said. Pyrrha nodded and walked towards the entrance of the danceroom, where a woman holding a rifle on her hand stood guard. She looked at the two and took out a scanner from her pocket. The scanner was small and looked like one of the scanners used for groceries in a market.

"Invitation and ID please." She said, looking at both of them take out their invitation and their ID.

"Light Yagami, alright." She scanned Light's invitation which held a small barcode on the bottom and nodded, the guard then took Pyrrha's invitation and scanned it. "Pyrrha Nikos, alright. You two may go inside, enjoy the party." She said as the two walked inside the dance, where many different people danced together wearing masks, or talked near the punch. The music stopped and all of them looked at the two who had just arrived. This was one of the only instances where Light was not walking hunched, and had his back straightened. Usually Light would be 178cm tall, however when he walked straight it increased his height to 190cm, which was almost 10 cm taller than Pyrrha.

"Oh my god, who's the tall guy next to Pyrrha?" Some girls whispered, looking at Light walk past them with Pyrrha hooked on his arm.

"Look at you Mr Popular." Pyrrha whispered into Light's ear. The boy simply looked at her with the corner of his eyes and then looked forwards again.

The two gathered much of the attention and caused those around them to whisper about the mysterious boy. Pyrrha was quite recognizable, not a lot of people had bright red hair and emerald green eyes like she did, but the person next to her was completely unknown, something which was weird during the dance, as people invited others which they personally knew, inviting someone outside the academy's was strange to others, an idea which hadn't been in the minds of any of them.

The boys stayed in their place, annoyed to not have asked Pyrrha Nikos, but disappointed as they thought they'd have no chance to ask her out, all of them stared at Light with critical eyes, trying to figure out what he had that they didn't.

"Pyrrha, I thought you were going to invite Light?" Yang walked to the spartan who nodded. Yang wore a short, white, halter neck dress with a pale gray hem and white pumps, she wore a fox mask which covered only around her eyes and the bridge of her nose.

"This is Light." Pyrrha corrected, Yang blinked and shook her head, leaning towards Pyrrha to see if she had heard correctly.

"Sorry, what did you say? I think I heard wrong." She added, making Pyrrha shake her head as she looked at her friend.

"This is Light, he just dressed up for the party." She explained, leaning towards her friend and whispering to her ear, "I was surprised too."

Jaune walked towards Pyrrha with a victorious, but sad smile on his face.

"See, I told you you'd have someone for the dance." He said with a bright smile, making Pyrrha shake her head. "He didn't ask me out, Jaune, I asked him." She said, surprising the blond who looked at her and blinked.

"Wait… So no one asked you to the dance?" He asked, making the red haired girl shake her head. No one dared ask the spartan to the dance, they were all scared they wouldn't be good enough for her.

"..." Jaune slowly left the group and went towards the balcony of the auditorium. Weiss soon joined the group and looked at the man next to Pyrrha.

"So you didn't invite your pesky detective friend?" Weiss asked with an authoritarian tone, making Pyrrha nervously chuckle and Yang smirk.

"That is the pesky detective friend." Yang said, making the Heiress freeze.

"I was surprised too." Yang added, making the heiress nod. She was just so confused as to what was happening.

"B-But, h-hair a-and t-tall!" She listed aspects of the boy she had seen before, surprised by the sudden change. Now if only they could see what was behind the mask.

The dance went on smoothly, with many girls asking to dance with Light, something he obliged with. He danced for hours before stopping and saying he needed some air, the moment he left, Jaune came back inside the auditorium wearing a white dress, which made the auditorium roar with laughter.

Light walked out of the auditorium and into the streets of Vale, the first chance he got, he entered an alley and took off his wig. He took another one, this one red from his inside pocket and put that one instead, he took off his contacts and put green ones before putting his blazer the other way around, this time it was a red blazer, matching with his wig's color. He walked out of the Alley and ran towards the CCT tower.

Once he arrived he saw several guards knocked out on the floor.

'So you've already made your move Cinder' The boy ran to the other side of the Tower and entered through there, then he made his way through the several corridors inside the tower and got inside a room filled with small little switches with labels on them.

He walked to the nearest one and smirked as he saw a key next to it. He took out a paper clip he had on his pocket and started lockpicking the key, once he heard a satisfying click he flipped it. There was a powering down noise as the whole tower shut down completely. The boy hastily took out a posted note and wrote on it <Do not turn the power back on, Coil>

The boy then made his way towards the stairs and walked upwards to the last floor, he didn't want to be too tired before arriving.

As he reached the top floor he saw a woman dressed in black hitting one of the computer screens.

"No no no no. NO!" She yelled, hitting the computer every time.

"Why?! HOW?!" She asked, kicking the computer angrily. The boy looked around and saw several different guards on the ground unconscious.

"Damn it! Plan failed!" She stomped on the ground and broke the window with what seemed to be a bow and arrow and then jumped out of it. L smirked.

'Let's see what you will do about this.' He thought as he walked to the computer she was kicking and sat on top of it. While sitting down on it he took a mask from one of his pockets and put it on while hastily removing his other mask. He took the mask he was previously wearing and put it on the inside pocket of his blazer, where his other wig and contacts were.
