Chapter 8; I don't have money....
She changed into her shabby dress before exiting the wardroom and going down to the accountant's office.
"La la la la la, la la la la.."
"I love you, I love you... "
"Muah... Muah..."
La la la, la la la.." she skipped through the corridor merrily, it was a brand new life and she ought to cherish.
She could now do anything in the public without being followed by the paparazzi, or reporters, that limelight life was all gone.
She came across a doctor who had just exited a wardroom, "Hey doctor, what a beautiful morning! What day is it today?" She gazed at him warmly, she appreciated life more than anything.
"Today is 15th February 2000, why?" The doctor was a young man but what she hadn't noticed was that this young man was related to the Gong Family and he had recognized her.
"Oohhh? Wasn't it just yesterday that she committed suicide?" She mumbled gazing at the doctor, she wasn't carrying anything apart from a flower dress she was wearing, it didn't look like anything fancy.
"What now? Have you gone crazy after being in the hospital for two days?" He flicked her forehead amused.
"Hehehe.. doctor.. life is beautiful.. la la la.." she skipped away waving her hand at the doctor.
"Okay.." Gong Xietan just shook his head while he went on with his work.
She went down to the reception and found a secretary there, "Hello there, can I know if my hospital bills are sorted out, I want to go home." She explained herself as other nurses were around there looking at her oddly.
She had already noticed those unusual glances but didn't care much about her image so long as she wasn't a celebrity anymore.
"Do you think she has gone crazy? Their family members don't care about her! She was in that cheap wardroom and yet they own the hospital." A nurse whispered to the other nurses as they began chitchatting.
"If I were her, I would probably find myself a new home, they openly expressing the fact they don't care nor want her around." Another one chimed.
" Miss, you don't need to worry about hospital bills, you can go now! " The secretary let her go as this was their hospital, which the Gong family owned.
" All right thank you miss.. " she skipped away as if she didn't hear what they were saying, she was immune to rumors, having spent twelve years in the Entertainment Industry, nothing was new to her.
She exited the hospital building and walked out to the parking lot, checking herself out then she remembers she doesn't have money, how would she go home?
Her eyes roamed around lazily, could she go back to them and ask for some cash? On her left side, there was a Mercedes Benz parked, she leaned on its boot gazing into the streets.
The sun was shining brightly, she closed her eyes and stretched her hands out to feel the warmth caressing her body.
"It's good being alive again..." she didn't mind that she was starting all afresh, but it will be a brand new life, and she will make her own choices.
"I don't have money, so how will I go back to Yunnan Province? How do I start a relationship with the people whom I had abandoned? " She doesn't have a clue, she was in an awkward position with suddenly having parents whom she never had nor grew up with, now how would she approach them? It was too embarrassing.
