Flashback (1)

A loud thump was heard followed by a shrill of a scream, a teenage girl looked to be 16 years old fell on the floor in front of the servants that stood making a long line like a wall to contain her from running away. Her ragged clothes torn and her disheveled states made her look miserable.

Bruises started to form at her temples, and at the corner of her beautiful pink lips, her eye colors are mesmerizing, the different color in both pupils made her look more enchanting. However the light in those two cat eyed like eyes had dimmed down from the pain and humiliations she suffered right now. The young girl cower away from the woman stood almighty watching her like she is the meal of the day.

"You B**ch" a middle aged woman spat hateful cursed words towards the teenage girl, not knowing what she did wrong, she crawled to the middle age woman feet and hugged it tight not wanting to let go. She was called out by the servant from her room, which was a storage broom closet converted into a small space enough for the bed and small night stand for her belongings. Not knowing what is going, she was beaten mercilessly in the middle of the night.

"Mom, please, i don't know what's going on" she pleaded, while the servant forcefully yanked her from the lady's feet and held her on her both arms, they dragged her to wooden square wall as high as 7 feet and chained her wrist with her back facing all of them. One of the servant held a long narrow bamboo stick and ripped her white cotton sappy looking pajamas leaving her with her underwear exposing her bulging spine on her back, the malnourishment this girl has endure is not new, it has been going on for years that she started to develop eating disorder that preventing her from eating too much since her stomach has shrunk. The servant that was chosen to punish her hesitate for a second and looked at the old male servant stood in hiding at the side of the pillar in the courtyard with red eyes and sunken cheeks, their looks collide before he continue to strike the back of the girl.

Each stroke broke out her thin skin exposing a raw reddish pink flesh, blood oozing from the slashed marks while the girl agony scream filled the courtyard.

Few servants that genuinely love this girl and witness her growing up in this villa turned their head sideways unable to withstand the gruesome sight of the small body, she is nothing but a skin and bone. Her small frame will not be able to stand the strong strike given by the man.

Liquid started to flow between her legs as he body trembles, the moment she is about to pass out, another servant dumped a bucket of water to her head so she will regain her consciousness. Once the amount of strikes achieved, the servant unchained Helena and her body slumped on the floor with her face forward grazing her facial skin and knocking her head hard.

The middle aged woman stood with disgust expressions watching Helena lifeless body on the concrete ground, she walked towards her and kicked a 16 years old Helena on her stomach with her heeled shoes, she walked to her 16years old daughter Francesca Lee, Helena step sister and made her joined the beating as well.

The mother and daughter duo enjoyed beating her and trampled on her head. They repeatedly spit on her lifeless body and instructed the servant to throw her away in the middle of the forest for the beast at night to devour her.

"Matthew Adam Long is mine...right after you die, he wont even remember you.. when i am at the age, we will get married and have so many babies, and i will get to enjoy the life of madam Long, while you will rot in a beast stomach" Francesca laughed heartily, she snorted and spit on Helena again before patting her hand from an invisible dust and turned to go inside the villa. The Long family has a son about their age that often comes for a visit at the Lee Garden villa, he came for the purpose of meeting Helena, however the in directed rejection he received from her has made his ego hurt badly, therefore he influenced Francesca by speaking ill about Helena trying to win him.

This has made the mother and daughter duo furious, after all their dream is to make the public accepted Francesca as the sole heir of Lee Trading.

The servants gathered around Helena and some started a small cries, they hated themselves for being a coward and not able to help the young Miss. The old servant slowly walked approaching Helena that is close on her death door. He volunteer to take her and dispose her in the forest. Placing her on his shoulder like a log, the old servant dialed a number he thought he will never have too, but this precious soul will be ruined if he didn't saves her now.

Helena eyes fluttered from the bright lights, she tried to open her eyes slowly and scanning her surrounding, the room looks completely foreign to her, the white walls and white chair gives the room a crisp and clean vibe. However the lack of any colors makes it more brighter even without a direct sunlight, she groggily tried to sit up when a nurse walked in and saw she has awake.

The nurse leave the room instantly and called the doctor, she heard a commotions outside before series of footsteps followed by papers rustles. The doorknob twisted and 3 men walked in , 2 of them wear a lab coat, that must be the doctors, but who is this man clad in suit? He looks like in his late 30s but he cant be that young, his gazed looks mature than his face, almost like his life experience written all over his face.

The man in suit walked to the side of the bed and stood there quietly. While the doctor going through her checkups and asking her questions, she is still unable to process of what is going on with her, and why is she not in Lee Garden Villa.

After the thorough check up the doctor turned to the man.

"Mr Reyes, she is healing well, there is nothing major that we need to be concern about, her brain activity shows no abnormalities despite the injury. Her being in a coma for 4 weeks had helped her body recovered without interruptions, if there is nothing, i will take my leave now" he adjusted his glasses and smiled to Helena before taking his leaves with the other doctor.
