"No, it's fine. I promised to answer a question, so I shall. The truth is, I was there in the impoverished streets of London during the time of Jack the Ripper. And no, this is not me confessing to being the killer since I haven't got the stomach to see organs."
"I was there because the place had many ladies willing to have a fun time with me. But another thing that lured me was the scent of death and mystery in the area. I may not like killing people, but I am still a Yokai, so when mystery gets involved, I'm instantly drawn to the place."
"To be quite frank, I was met face to face with my world's version of Jack the Ripper. The killer's last victim was one of my flings, and I found it weird that she was super paranoid after vanishing at a street corner. So I decided to tail the poor lady and saw the Leather Apron."
"Not only did I see Jack the Ripper, but I was also forced to fight him since he had never been seen doing his crimes before. Before I could even ask what was going on, the guy lunged at me with terrifying speeds that even I couldn't handle."
"The man wielded two daggers and wore a black cloak. And during the fight, I can safely say that Jack the Ripper is not an ordinary human since he possesses an Elemental Aura and could teleport to places..." explained Tomoe, as his gaze shifted from the fire to my eyes.
The silence was enough to confirm my suspicions of Raiyen. That Time Mage... He was the infamous Whitechapel Murderer of 1888! As I looked at the sleeping Time Boy, I inched away from him with fear and horror.
"That's why when I was summoned here when I saw my Master, I was instantly appalled by him. I truly thought I had been sent back in time, but after learning the truth, Mavislin told me the workings of summoning a Familiar into this realm."
"Things can change; different realities and possibilities fill the Universe with no end in sight. In this one, I hope Raiyen doesn't become that killer. As for his true history, I know that Raiyen is the son of the previous Time Master, a rank only given to the most powerful Time Mage."
"But with the creation of the Morning Glory Orphanage, Raiyen has since taken over the title and included the Time Mages who had traveled far and wide to pay respects to the Time Boy into the Vigilante. Those Mages are nice, and I had fun drinking with them," recalled the Kitsune.
I smiled when I saw Tomoe reminiscing about the experience of meeting new people. It was the same smile I had when I met up with my colleagues at work after not seeing each other for a long time. But things weren't tranquil for long as Vania had finished analyzing something.
"Notice. I have finished my analysis about the earlier grey flash you flashed on your interface while talking to Raiyen. This is the acquired result," informed Vania, showing me the most freakish picture I've ever seen after the movie; Requiem For A Dream.
It was off the streets of London during the time of Jack the Ripper. I nearly felt sick as I saw the picture since dozens of butchered humans covered the roads. It was like I was looking at a mass grave from the Second World War. The thought brought me nothing but scorn.
From women to children, all varieties were present. No one was spared from the terrors of what killers could do to their fellow neighbors and family. Tomoe must have seen my horrified face and dashed to my side.
I clenched my fists as I started to take heavy breaths while Tomoe tried to find out what was wrong. Since his words couldn't get through to me, Tomoe enveloped me in a hug. I never realized that I was trembling after seeing that disgusting imagery until I felt the warmth of the Kitsune.
After I calmed down, Tomoe drew away from the hug to question why I was freaking out.
"When Raiyen was talking about the serial killer, I had a flash of grey in my vision, and the System within me had finished finding out what was the flash. It was a picture of the streets of London covered with victims of serial killers. More than Jack the Ripper..."
Crap, the thought of remembering the image was making me feel sick again. I thought I had the stomach for these kinds of things since I was a hitman of sorts, but I hated to kill people in such a horrific manner. I didn't enjoy seeing people writhe in agony and preferred to end things quickly.
