In a quiet forest, a lizard-looking creature was laying on the ground, unmoving. The area around him was very bright with different kinds of flora that shined in the light of the sun. There was a clear stream of water nearby.

But the quiet was not followed for so long as the lizard-looking creature's eyes kept twitching until it ended up getting open. It looked around in confusion as if not knowing where it was.

'Where am I?' It thought.

He moved and sat on his butt and started thinking about something.

'Just now I got hit by a car, why am I in a fucking forest?' He thought.

He was Stephen, an 18-year-old average college student. He was an orphan who had just gotten free from the orphanage. Leaving for the college, he crossed the road but to his demise, an over-speeding car hit him at a speed of 100 kmh.

He didn't know what happened next as he had no memory of the accident.

'Did I die?' He didn't know what to think and looked in all directions. The scenery around him was very beautiful with clear air that made him refreshed. But he felt like something was wrong as he felt uncomfortable sitting on his butt as if something was getting in the way. He looked behind and saw a tail…. He subconsciously shouted and got up.

"UAHHH...!!" Stephen just instinctively jumped as he saw a tail above his butt.

"What the fuck" He saw it again and couldn't understand what was happening. But what he saw next, he felt as if the tail was better. His whole body was brown in color with scales on it. He looked like a fucking lizard. Hands all scaly with sharp pointy nails about 2 inches long.

He saw a stream of water near him and ran towards it. But the running felt uncomfortable for some reason.

He reached the lake and saw his face in it which made his eyes wide in shock, a face of a crocodile-like lizard, that's what he saw. Large big eyes with brown irises, a mouth long as a crocodile, and about 100 sharp pointy teeth inside the mouth.

'A dream, yes, a dream…Hahaha, definitely a dream' He thought while pinching his arm. The scales felt very rough with lines all over them. He wasn't even wearing anything down as his little scaly dragon was just swinging around while he walked.

"How much more time do you need for relaxation, you bastard!" someone shouted at him from behind.

He looked and saw another lizard creature like him but just a little bigger in height. He saw it moving speedily towards him and stepped back a little. The lizard noticed his reaction and made a constipated face which Stephen concluded was frowning.

"Why are you looking at me like those filthy humans do?" It asked to which he only became more confused.

"Sorry, I got sleepy," Stephen said trying to act normal.

"Leave all that, did you get awakened?" He said with a grin that showed his pointy teeth.

"Yes?" Stephen couldn't understand and feigned ignorance.

"Ughh…. newbies, try to think about your strength." He said with annoyance.

Stephen was confused but nodded. He thought about how strong he was, and a blue screen came in front of him.

He was shocked by the blue screen in front of him. He looked at the kobold in front of him again as if asking about the screen.

"I can't see it, bastard. Only you can see your information. I know you were born 20 days before, but you should know about this stuff...don't you?" He asked with a frown.

Stephen looked at him with wide eyes as the bastard in front of him was just blasting bombs of information again and again. Born 20 days ago? Successful? Powerful?

"Let's go for the time being..." He spoke and started walking.

'I don't know what's happening, but I should do what anyone would …. go with the flow.'

He started walking with him, but it felt uncomfortable again, he looked down and saw some pointy claws on his feet, but the feet were way too long and the legs short.

They walked for 2 minutes, and Stephen started seeing a village-like settlement about 100 meters away from him.

They reached the settlement in a matter of seconds; there he saw many other kobolds just like him. There was no difference in all of them, just brown scales and some had the little dragon while some didn't which stated the obvious.

"Go in the leader's hut," The other kobold said while pointing at the big hut.

He gulped and started walking reaching the front of the hut. He couldn't even knock as there was only a curtain at the entrance.

'Ok, Stephen stay calm….'

He entered the entrance just to be greeted by a kobold double the size of him. The main difference was, that he had wings.

"Hm…I see you have awakened" he said to Stephen who stiffened from his dominating voice. The aura of the leader was very heavy making him uncomfortable.

"Y-Yes..." It took a lot of wits to say that as he gritted his teeth. Upon seeing Stephen, the leader grinned ear to ear.

'He has potential' he thought.

"Your training will start tomorrow morning, get some sleep before it." The leader said but this time there was no pressure.

"Ok"

'Ugh... that was intense' he thought.

"Sigh... But what to do now" He asked himself.

"Little Brother!!" Someone came from behind and hugged him.

The voice of the feminine came very nostalgic to him. Upon listening to the voice, Stephen felt something break inside him as his head started drumming very inside out.

"ARGHH…!" He shouted very loud while holding his head. He could hear the concerned voice of the female from afar but couldn't understand what she was saying.

After some minutes of a very bad headache, he came back to his senses. He remembered everything about the person that was previously in the kobold's body.

'I remember now

His name in this world was Amin Rebin, he was born just 20 days ago. The Kobold's children get mature at an alarming rate getting fully mature in just 30 days. 30-day age was like 18-year-old for a human.

At the age of maturity, creatures from all species, get their own system. But in Amin's case, he got the system 8 days before which had never happened before. It was like a miracle.

As for why Amin was in the forest away from the tribe, well he was scolded by her other for not taking swordsmanship seriously, so he left the tribe in anger. He was then getting hungry and ate a poisonous fruit making him die. But miraculously, Stephan incarnated in his body may be the reason for his early awakening.

The female Kobold in front of her was his older sister, Emil Rebin, she was 50 days old and was way up her maturity.

"Little Brother! Are you okay?!" Emil asked while shaking Stephen's shoulder.

"Yes! Big sister, I'm okay. So, stop moving my shoulder!" Stephan said. Stephan didn't really have a family before but seeing the memories of Amil as if it was his own, he softened up a little.

"Did you really awaken? Ugh leave it, first, let's go home and meet with mother and father." She said while tugging him with her and brisk walking to their home.

They walked speedily towards the house and reached it very quickly. Amil couldn't even get inside the house as her mother came running toward him making him fall to the ground.

"Amile...!" She started crying while hugging him.

"Mom...! Let's get inside first, you are making a commotion here!" He said while looking at the people looking at them and giggling.

"You bastard! Dare to leave the house before asking permission!" Another person came outside the house taunting him.

'Oh, boy' Amil face palmed seeing his strict father coming out.

"Mother! Father! He's right. Let's get inside first" Emil said tugging Amil with her inside. Seeing the duo getting inside, they both greeted the others and went inside too.

"Now bastard, tell us everything that happened," His father asked in a threatening tone.

"Nothing father, I was just running around the forest when suddenly I fell unconscious. When I came to senses, I had awakened, and Someone came to pick me up." He told them half truth half lie as he couldn't just tell them that their son died, right?
