Chapter 24: [No title]

"Where is Fa Lin!" shouts a hand some young man in white robe and blue, his face was scrunched up in rage, so much so that veins could be seen throbbing on his head.

"Tch! The heavens must be against me to think I ran into a core sect disciple!" said a man who looked to be in his thirties, he wore black robes and was bleeding from his head.

The young man held gripped his blade tighter as he shouted "Where is she!" his voice boomed throughout the entire the destroyed camp.

"It seems your leader messed with a sleeping dragon." Ken Hai told the the man who dumbly looked on to the decimated bandit camp.

He couldn't believe the camp he left little to just a hour of go now became this! The heavens must've really wanted them gone.

*BANG!* Ken Hai knocked him out with a chop to the neck, knocking him out. 'I should probably get used to killing sooner or later.' the reincarnater thought with a slightly depressed sigh.

He then looked on and waited to see how this situation will play out.

The bandit leader stood and flexed his aura revealing his cultivation to be at the 7th of Martial Disciple. And so did the young man as he drew his blade a bluish aura surrounding him, revealing his cultivation to be at the ninth of the same realm.

The bandit leader didn't like that someone younger than him is two minors realms above him, sure he knew the youngster was from a sect, even a minor one and that with it's resources he'd be above him, but it still hurt his pride somewhat.

The two rushed at each other both sword fighters clashed causing the air ripple. The sound of the blades beautifully reverberated throughout the camp.

The young man pushed forward the bandit his strength proving to be superior. As the bandit leader grit his teeth trying to fight back against his opponent's strength.

The two separated and immediately the bandit leader went for a over head slash, but the youth shifted to the side barely dodging the blow and went for a counter attack.

The bandit leader seeing this immediately shifted his body downwards the sword barely misses him by a hairs breath.

Seeing this he jumped back to gain some distance, only for his opponent who dashed towards him, but the bandit leader placed out a hand a said "Stop! Here's the key to the cell holding your sister sect mate!" said the bandit leader as he threw the key towards the young man.

"Hmph! Where is the cell?" he asked with an undertone of rage which sent shivers down the bandit leaders spine. "T-this way!" he llead him to a object covered by a curtain which he removed showing a a cell containing an extremely cute girl about the age of fourteen, she had black hair which complimented her beautiful golden eyes.

She was dressed in blue and white like her sect brother, her hands and feet were tied and her mouth was covered by a piece of cloth.

"Lin'er!" Relief immediately fill the youngster as he immediately dashed towards the cell and opened it, while untying his fellow sect sister, the bandit leader immediately went for his blade and tried to stab the unguarded cultivator.

"Brother!" shouts the little but it was too late as he turned he saw the bandit leader was just moments from killing him, but to his luck.

*Fooosh!!!* A wind blade sliced right through the bandits leader hands crippling him.

Looking towards the perpetrator they saw an extremely handsome youngman wearing clothes they don't recognized but oddly it suited him.

"Y-you! You did this!" said the bandit leader in rage as he stared up at Ken Hai. Steeling himself Ken Hai gripped his sword tightly.

He then rushed towards the bandit leader and he swung his blade with all his might killing the bandit leader.

It was his first kill in this world in any world. He expected to feel sick and throw up at his actions or atleast some kind of excitement except he felt nothing, just a cold feeling in the pit of his stomach.

Was killing a person supposed to be that easy? He asked himself. He knew the bandit leader was trash but. It's that easy and that scared him. It was so easy to take the life of a fellow person and that scared him. He wasn't disgusted about killing or scared of it, he just didn't want to become a heartless monster.
