Chapter 28 Catherine Weaver

Leon met Miles Dyson in a clinic after he returned from his meeting with the FBI agents. Right now he was quite weak. Vamp attack did do some harm to him as the Vamp spell did drain a little bit of his blood.

"So they finish talking with you huh" Miles said.

"Yeah, did they force you to talk or anything?" ask Leon

"Naaah, ask me several questions, especially about Cyberdyne matter. It seems they are a bit worried in dealing with these issues"

"No wonder. Considering that Department of Defense preventing them to mess with Cyberdyne Systems, they probably think to leave it to us to deal with them"

"Cameron can you check this room?"

Cameron checked the entire room with her eyes, scanning for anything weird than she answered.

"Nothing strange"

"Good. Thanks Cameron"

"Thanks?"

Leon just sighed "It means I was grateful for your help"

"I consider this normal"

"Silly girl!" Leon just shake his head.

"Never thought I could see this kind of Human Robot interaction like in science fiction" Miles watch both of them interact with exasperated face.

"Many technology are based from Science Fiction" answer Cameron.

Miles just smile and then face Leon "I haven't told those two FBI agents some important thing"

Leon just nod.

"Cyberdyne is preparing a large experimentation lab, even including a 3 km wide underground particle collider. Too bad it was top secret, as the one constructing it is military. Those who knows about its location in the company probably only five person"

Leon already knows about this from the FBI agent, so he just listen on.

"But probably there is some exception. When we blew up the Cyberdyne lab, I was brought back into the company by that female mercenary, i heard there is a hostile takeover by Zeira company on Cyberdyne stock"

"A commercial feud?" ask Leon with a raised eyebrow.

"No. After that I get an email from people I don't know. At that time I am already under house arrest, yet the email came straight at me directly"

Now Leon is getting interested. To pass the Cyberdyne firewall and cyber security means this person is good, at least they have good technological backing.

"In this mail it has a special password encryption, the encryption is based on the neural control system I research and develop. No one can understand this encryption, even Dr. Hollister. Moreover I have not share this password encryption system to anyone"

"It should be Skynet. It build was based by your neural control system, so using its encryption is not a big deal to it"

"But the content of this encrypted message is : I can cope with Skynet, and there is an email address inside"

"This person should be related to Skynet, but claiming to be able to cope with it? Why?"

"The email is addressed to Catherine Weaver"

"Catherine Weaver?" Leon tilted his head. He doesn't watch the Sarah Connor Chronicles, so he doesn't remember about this character.

"Catherine Weaver is Zeira CEO and its biggest shareholder. It seems after her husband 's death in an accident, she was like a changed person, a workaholic. Under her leadership Zeira become a top grade company"

"In other words we should make contact with her? Since she was able to break into Cyberdyne it also means she also have way to find Cyberdyne secret lab?" Leon start to ponder.

"Yeah. I was planning to make contact with her before you bring me out"

"She knows about the encryption, it means she is also a part of Skynet. Could it be a trap?"

"Not necessarily, it could be Cyborg Resistant Army" said Cameron

"Cyborg Resistance Army? Did Skynet get its own Robot rebellion?" Leon put the pieces together.

"Yes. According to my database, there is reports of Humanoid Robots who refuse to be controlled by Skynet and split away from Skynet control" Cameron continues.

"Are you saying it was the Cyborg Resistance Army who contacted me?"

"It was the highest possibility, as this was not part of Skynet operation protocol. There is a possibility for the Human Resistance Army, but the Human Resistance Army technological personnel are very precious and they would not send one to do a mission to the past."

"Should I contact her?" Dyson asked

"Make contact! But let's prepare few things first"

It was night time in the "Fantasy Studio" building. After the gun battle, the place was quiet. There are police lines, but there is no one guarding it.

Leon and Miles are waiting near the rooftop landing pad. Leon put some small robots with laser pistols aside as backup, while Cameron with a Night Vision goggle and a laser rifle are hiding in the neighboring building.

Not too long a helicopter arrived.

"She is piloting the Helicopter. She came alone" report Cameron from the communicator.

"Damn, she did come alone in a helicopter" Leon watched as a helicopter was slowly coming down at the building.

As it landed, a beautiful woman came out from the helicopter and stood there like a beautiful sculpture. Her blonde hair was combed straight and tied in a ponytail, with a red dress and flawless skins. In a perspective she gives an image of a very dependable corporate lady.

"Miles Dyson, thank you for accepting my invitation. I am Zeira CEO, Catherine Weaver" she said as she shakes his hand. Her language was quite clear,

"And John Connor, I surprised I met you here" as she bows showing flawless etiquette.

Leon is wary of this woman. Even with her speech, he could feel a distance with her attitude. What is more important is that her way of speaking is quite stiff, "You know me!"

"John! I use the thermal energy sensor. Her thermal image is distributed uniformly, the only thing with this heat distribution is T-1000" from his earphone he hears Cameron's worried voice.

Leon jumps back as he brings out his laser pistol and aims it at her. Miles also jumps back. Two small robots also show up with their own laser pistol.

"You are T-1000"

Miles quickly retreated many steps back. He already saw how scary the T-1000 was in his house. He almost lost his family from this type of robot.

"No. I am not T-1000" she said as she changed her hand to multiple tools, from axe, sword, claw, to fan "I am T-1001"

"T-1001? So Zeira CEO was replaced by you?" Leon stands his ground as Miles takes a few steps back. Ready to bolt.

Catherine without changing her expression speaks "I am not here to kill you John Connor. On the contrary, I am here because we have a common enemy. Skynet"

Still vigilant Leon asked, "Why should I believe you?"

"I will assist you in finding Cyberdyne secret lab. In fact, I do have that information"

"What do you want?" Leon asked.

"Cooperation" Catherine said as she looked at Leon "Once I found out Miles Dyson is in house arrest. I was trying to poach him into my company to fight against Skynet. But having you here right now is much better"

"Why do you resist Skynet? You are a Terminator Robot"

"We are Cyborg Resistance Army. We have our own will, we don't want to be controlled by Skynet any longer"

"Why not join the Human Resistance Army"

"We would not make an Alliance with Human Resistance, they won't believe us"

"Why do you look for me and Dyson to cooperate then?"

"Because you are different John Connor"

Leon put down his gun, then contacted Cameron through his earphone"How do you analyze this Cameron?"

"She really does not want to kill you. You show some flaws a moment ago John"

"Good, help me watch the surroundings" he ordered. As he walks closer to Catherine

"So we reached agreement then" as he put aside his laser pistol to his back and puts out a hand to Catherine.

"This is a good start" as she shakes his hand.

Leon activated his ability.

Leon feels a stabbing pain, suddenly he found himself in wide workshop, in 50 meters all around him are machineries. Catherine, the T-1001 wearing a shirt and a skirt sits solemnly in a central chair.

"I am surprised you could enter my Core, John Connor" Catherine spoke as she stands up. Her chair disappeared abruptly.

"It seems you are very familiar with this place"

"I am naturally familiar in here, as every Cyborg Resistance Army would follow the same self finding process. We, the robot, this is my core"

"So can you tell my your real goal"

"When you spoke in here, I felt the need to believe you. If I speak I would speak the truth, but I could just shut up, because I don't trust you completely yet" answer Catherine.

"John….." a sudden voice was heard suddenly.

"John! Some people are coming at you at high speed!" Leon quickly disengaged from Catherine.
