Chapter 1Where everything started

Chapter 1 - Where everything started.

-

Aroused by the heat ray of the morning sun, I groaned as I woke-up, raising my body from the sweet embrace of bed. Still sleepy, I slowly opened my still sensitive eyes but was opened immediately in surprise as the view from my sight came a room unbeknownst to me.

"...huh?"

The room where I'm currently at felt like I was in a rural place. A room that's mostly made out of wood. Though, compared to a regular grade, it was of a fine quality. The same could be said to the furniture who was already considered as an antique design.

Regardless, my brain that had finally warmed up had asked me the most important question.

"...W-where am I?!"

Stunned and perplexed, I rose into the bed and went to the nearest windows—just to see the view that completely punched me in realization that I was not in my familiar place anymore.

I was feeling agitated from the unknown phenomena happening at the start of my morning, so I tried to calm myself down first, then came pondering.

I tried to think if this was just a lucid dream as everything was surreal. Curious, I tried to slap myself and got the feedback of the sting, thus, remained clear to me—I was not dreaming.

"Don't tell me..."

But just as I was thinking, a knock came through the door, followed by a girl similar of age, wearing a white robe, then came informed me...

"Uhm... Ah—?! Y-you're already awake..." The girl came startled when she saw me. "E-excuse me for suddenly barging..."

She had a pitch-black straight hair with a little mixture of white pertaining a loss of pigments. Her hair is so long that it's almost near as her knee-pit, fluttering even without any ounce of air within.

But I'll be honest, I'm pretty sure she would be a very beautiful girl if not for her frail and skinny like appearance. She looks so pitiful that I can't help but look at her in concern. Honestly, who is the parents of this girl?! I'll go talk to her.

"Uhm... B-breakfast is ready so..."

The frail girl timidly looked at me with her dead blue eyes as she waits for my response. Her dead eyes aside, there seemed to be more than meets the eye.

It seemed like, she was scared of something...

"Uh, thank you for informing me but uh..." I gave her a look of genuine concern. "You look like you were scared of something. Is something wrong?"

"...Eh?"

The frail girl had her eyes fully widened into me as if a tragedy came in front of her, her lower lips quivers as if I was the cause of her trepidation. I patiently waited for a response and after a while, she finally opened her lips.

"N-nothing..." said the frail girl, forcing a smile.

Dead eyes, frail body, visible fear, and a gesture of a forced smile, it was obviously a lie.

I already had the gist of what is happening. Probably... No, surely, I was transmigrated to what they called the fantasy world. It still feels bizarre but that's all the conclusion I can think of.

Anyhow, I'm still of a person yet ignorant by general rule of this world. This girl was quite a transparent person... she'll be good to be the someone to provide me some information.

"Really?" I retorted.

"...Y-yes."

"Then, can you come here?"

"—?!"

The frail girl's face paled in white in my response. I knew it, I'm really the reason she was terrified.

Don't get me wrong, it's also worse than I thought. I might be doing it quite viciously, but I assure you I'll take responsibility on what happened afterwards!

"..."

The frail girl paused visibly mustering up her resolve and slowly approached me, trembling. I patted the bed beside me which she sat just like I had gestured, placing her hands on her chest.

"U-uhm," The frail girl stumbled her words, shaking. "What is it, Master?"

Eh? Master? D-did I hear that right? No, I'm pretty sure I did.

"Hm..." Arms crossed, I began to ponder, facing down.

Frightened, Master, Maid...? I see. If my hypothesis is correct, I was transmigrated as a tyrant person. In this case by this girl, this former guy probably didn't treat her in any kindness whatsoever.

Nonetheless, I got to give some convincing reason to get some information.

"M-Master...?"

"—Ah, t-the thing is... when I woke-up I suddenly can't remember everything." I explained, straining a smile. "Do you think you can help me about it?"

"Eh?"

Goddamn I suck at this! Convincing reason my ass! That was the lamest reason a person can think of! W-what to do, I'm pretty sure she won't—

"I-I see... I can help you if you're okay with me..."

She was convinced?!?!

"T-that's good to hear..." I replied, breathing a sigh. "T-then, how about we start to introduction?"

"Y-yes," The frail girl nodded, albeit a bit shaken, she begins explaining. "For starters, my name is Luna, your personal maid... A-as for you Master, you are the 3rd Son of the Crimsonheart Family known by the name of Sai Crimsonheart. You—"

"Eh?!"

"—?! U-uhm, did I say something that might have upset you...?"

"N-no! I..."

Sai Crimsonheart, I completely know that name! That is, because that person is one of the characters of my Favorite game called 『Stella』.

Stella is an open world survival game on a mixture of a Sci-Fi and Magic World in which gain its popularity thanks to its incomparable freedom of adventure through many different world maps. The game revolves around exploring, building, crafting, and survival and a unique setting of the game which comprises of myriads of "Weapon" and "Gear" that indicates a player strength instead of a leveling system or some sorts.

You start in a Middle Ages world as a player with basic tools needed to collect and craft some items, or explore the world, which will help you progress throughout the game. How you accept and interact into people, or the world will be your own story. The genre was pretty chaotic and has many holes but the entertainment it makes the players not to give a care about it.

In any case, let's talk about the characters. As you progress your own story, you'll eventually meet some characters which can be your companions—they are called the Hero and the Heroines. since I now finally grasp the situation, it slapped me of a fated encounter.

The thing is, the person beside me, Luna, is one of the companions you can meet in the game. She specialized in Melee Combat and was well liked by communities because of her tragic past, in which case, Sai Crimsonheart came his appearance.

Sai Crimsonheart is a Mini-Antagonist of the game and is the Master of Luna. Just as had you thought, Sai is a scum who uses Luna to fulfill his relief, not in a sexual manner but of a domestic violence.

But Sai Crimsonheart is worse than that. The thing is, he was just a clown and a steppingstone for the player to progress the game—a comic relief and basically, an Underdog. He'll be that one guy who recklessly do something and get what he deserves, giving the players the information they needed.

And currently, that person was none other than me...

"Ugh, what a dilemma..." I mused, covering my face in disbelief.

"I-is something wrong, Master?"

"It's nothing..." I timidly responded, then after a while, I took a deep breath as to resolve myself on something, patting Luna's head which made her startled.

"Uwah?!" Luna covers herself with her arms in impulse, trembling. "I-I'm sorry Mas—?!"

Until she realized, Luna looked at me in bewilderment as I gently caress her head. That's right, I might be the scumbag Sai Crimsonheart but since I was transmigrated, I will become someone that's opposite of this human piece of shit.

"My bad if I startled you." I gently replied. "Just think of this like a promise to myself."

"Y-yes...?" Luna meekly nodded, then turned her face into me. "Uhm, Master..."

"Yeah?" I beamed.

"The breakfast..."

"Oh shit! My bad, I forgot!"

I was too preoccupied to my situation that I forgot the breakfast!

I immediately rose into the bed in panic, hurriedly walking towards outside my room but stop abruptly when I saw my face from the mirror placed into the wall.

A fit crimson-haired guy with red eyes came from the mirror. He has quite a good appearance that it can even be considered as a ladies' man, if not for his disgusting attitude...

"I see, so really became him, huh..." I mused.

"M-Master...?"

"Y-yeah, I'm coming!"

Luna left my room to which I followed. For the parts of this large house, or should I say a mansion— is still unknown for me. Knowing that I'm inside my favorite game, I had the urge to go out right now and start my adventure, but I doubt it would be that easy. Let's first start to gather some information.

GlaringError here! As I have already mentioned in my author review I am restating it here since I am getting tons of comments about it, that I am more of a reader myself than a writer, I made this novel in an attempt to capture my fantasy world residing in my mind into words.. Writing is new for me.. The premise of my novel is inspired by many great works that I have loved over the years. And some elements I have in my novel that are slightly similar to them but it's just the skeleton of it, the real meat of the plot is entirely my own cooking. Some of the influence that is more noticeable is from The Runesmith (By Kuropon), The King's Avatar (By Butterfly Blue) and Shadow Slave (By Guiltythree). I have immense respect for these legends and I can only hope to follow in their footsteps. To all those who comment just by judging the name, at least give it a chance before letting your opinions be known. Thank you.

Young Master's PoV: Woke Up As A Villain In A Game One Day

"Now you see?" she shouted in a tone that was somewhere between annoyance and disappointment. "You can’t outsmart Scrients! They’re the most intelligent beings across the two realms!" "You’re right," I muttered, averting my gaze with a solemn sigh. "I made a mistake. I was arrogant to think a mere human like me could fool them." —BOOM!! "...Wh-What was that?" "Hmm? I’m not sure. Maybe you should go and ask the most intelligent beings across the two realms. Oh wait! You can’t. I killed them all." --- My name is Samael Kaizer Theosbane. On the last day of high school, I got into a fight with a kid I used to bully. It was a stupid and pointless scuffle. And in the middle of it, I tripped and smacked my head on a rock. That’s when the memories came flooding in… Memories of a different life. Memories of another world. Suddenly, everything made a twisted kind of sense. I realized two things. First: I was inside a game I used to play in my past life. Second: I was a villain. A villain! Not the cool, mysterious, tragic kind either! No, I was the worst kind of cliché — a spoiled, insufferable, and arrogant young master. The sort you'd find in those poorly written fantasy stories. You know the type! The one everyone hates. The one the hero would beat into the ground to show everyone just how strong and righteous he is. Yeah. I was that guy! My fate was to be a stepping stone for the main characters, be manipulated by a Demon Prince, and die a dog's death. And the hero? The hero was the same kid I’d been bullying all this time. The one I just got into a fight with. He was supposed to be the savior of this damned world. A world teetering on the edge of destruction, beset by wars, calamities, and a grim future that only I knew. And waiting at the end of it all was the final antagonist. The unbeatable nightmare. …The Spirit King. But could I even make it to the end? Could I really survive in a game where defeat was the only certainty? A game that had now become my reality? “Ah, fuck it.” I had no idea if I could. But I sure as hell was going to try. Extorting extras, manipulating main characters, altering the story to my advantage, stealing the hero’s cheat items, killing villains long before they could become threats — nothing was beneath me. Would the main characters be affected by my actions? Excellent! Would the story change? Even better! All I cared about was me. My survival. My life. My choices. “I’ll live this life with no regrets.” ...But as I soon discovered, fate wasn't so easily changed. And the price of rewriting your destiny was steep. ========== Discord Server: https://discord.gg/VjFQtDUaTR
