"How did I get into this situation?"

Arison really couldn't get a break.

At the current time, they were back on the road as Euryale was holding onto him from behind as they were now speeding through an open field of grass. It was honestly a great miracle that the grass wasn't catching ablaze due to the fire from the motorcycle, though it wasn't like he was going to complain. He didn't want to deal with a massive wildfire.

Except, this time... it was a bit different to the previous drive.

The reason being that they had a new person on the vehicle...

Arison was twitching his right eyebrow as none other than Rory Mercury was happily sitting, not behind Euryale, nor directly behind him... she was sitting right in FRONT of him!

She was literally snuggled right up to his chest, and her sitting position forced him to have to scoot back to allow her room to damn sit. She wouldn't move to the back no matter how many times he asked her to during the drive, and it was honestly really getting on his nerves at this point. Dealing with two goddesses was a massive pain.

Well, the one in front of was a demi-goddess. But, that was besides the point.

He was just lucky that he was able to still control the vehicle properly despite shifting backwards in the seat, he didn't want to end up losing control or something. He was also amazed by himself that he could still concentrate to keep the vehicle from changing back into The Sword of Fire, his mind and patience was truly being tested.

The only real reason he even gave in to letting her sit here was that he didn't want to waste any damn time complaining with the girl. He was the type to just put up with something if it's a trivial matter like this, though he certainly won't just give in if it's something that would truly affect him in greater ways.

Example being like affecting the relationship he has with someone, something that could endanger his allies, or something like that. If it's a trivial matter like just finally getting on the damn road, then he'll put up with it! Though, he could at least try to get this girl to get to the back.

"Could you PLEASE move to the back?"

"No~pe!"

"Why does this have to happen to me...?"

"Oh~, this is truly an interesting contraption!"

"Don't break anything!"

Arison sighed as Euryale stood beside him as they both observed as Rory was circling around the massive motorcycle that both deities had been riding on, her eyes glancing all around it with high curiosity on her expression. She had suddenly at some point randomly began to examine the vehicle suddenly, which caused Euryale to fall off.

Much to the irritation of the purple-haired goddess.

"Is she really going to be coming with us?"

"I can tell she isn't the type to give up. She'll probably try and track us down no matter what, and I'm not having this girl tail us around creepily..."

"We can just leave this world with your abilities, can't we?"

"Yes. However, I would like to enjoy my time in each world as much as I can before moving onto the next. I can always come back, but I'd honestly end up changing my mind and not end up doing it ever. So, might as well."

"I hope she isn't going to be an annoyance..."

"You're one to talk."

[Flashback End]

"So, where are we going exactly?"

"Well, I heard about this rather large bandit camp around the area. I figured we might as well give them a visit, you know?" Rory held her smiled as she said this. Arison deadpanned as he continued driving, though he could also feel Euryale deadpanning behind his back as well.

"That's your way of saying you want to kill them, isn't it?"

"Mhm!"

Arison just sighed. Rory had requested that their first stop was somewhere near the forest nearby the place they had met her, and it seemed that this bandit camp that she asked them to go to was her original destination prior to meeting them. Arison could see that she obviously had a massive hatred towards bandits.

If he was honest, he may not know what bandits are like here in this world, but he was betting on the fact that they were no good. So, he wouldn't mind getting his hands dirty to clean up the trash that is them. He doubted Euryale really wanted to fight, but he could definitely see that she would enjoy seeing them in pain.

Aside from the bandits, Rory was curious about both of her new companions. Mostly of Arison though. She easily found that he was very powerful, and how powerful was the main question in her mind. She could sense the magical energy radiating off of Euryale, though it was being held back. She could feel it was grand though.

She could also sense that they were most likely apostles like herself. But the apostles of whom, she did not know.

"I think I've found the place." Arison voiced, snapping Rory out of her thoughts. She looked up to see that Arison had stopped the vehicle and was now looking down the hill they were standing on, and what they saw was a massive camp of sorts with a number of people in similar outfits to the people that Rory killed on the road. "Nevermind. Definitely the place."

Arison scanned the area and noticed the defensive structures set up such as archer towers and such. Though, he could see they were very ridiculous and horrid positions. The camp was set up near the side of a cliff, and a few of the towers couldn't see past certain edges and were prone to sneak attacks and much more.

A good number of bandits were also walking around in the campground while most were outside on the field doing whatever the hell they were doing. He couldn't care less, they came here for one reason only, and that was to kill them. Though, he wouldn't mind checking what they had in that camp. They most likely had money, and he would take it for him and the other two.

If they came across civilisation like a town or something, he didn't want to sleep outside. Not like he needed any sleep, but he would still like to lie down on a comfy bed.

"This is going to be so much fun!" Rory giggled with utter excitement as she took her halberd from the back of the motorcycle as she prepared herself with a smile on her face. Arison just ignored her as he looked at Euryale, who he helped get down from the vehicle. Euryale patted her clothes down as she fixed her hair due to the wind.

"You don't need to join us down there. Just provide us support from up here with your bow."

"Do you even need me?"

"The help would still be appreciated."

"Very well." Euryale shrugged with a smirk. Rory saw her suddenly summon forth a golden bow that released a gentle yet divine glow, Rory was certainly interested. Though, she soon dismissed her thoughts as Arison walked up next to her and looked down the cliff as Euryale walked on next to him as well. "Ah~, so many of those insects."

"Certainly. Let's hurry now!"

"Very well. Let's get this over with." Arison dismissed the motorcycle as it returned to a sword before disappearing. He then held his hand forwards as he then stated calmly. "Come to me, the spear that strikes true with death! Gáe Bolg!"

A crimson red straight beam of light appeared in Arison's hand before he began swinging it around before holding it with both hands and struck a simple pose, the light dying down instantly as a blood-red crimson spear was now present in his grasp. Rory and Euryale widened their eyes at the spear, Euryale more so than the former.

"Gáe Bolg... isn't that the weapon of Ireland's Child of Light?" Euryale asked with shock present on her face as she saw the spear in Arison's hands. Rory just seemed confused as those words that Euryale said were still not understood by her, though she was still intrigued and curious about why the girl seemed so surprised.

True to the goddess's words, this very spear was Gáe Bolg. The spear that belonged to Cú Chulainn, the one known as Ireland's Child of Light. Of course, she would know of it, she was previously connected to the Throne of Heroes. So, pretty much every Servant had knowledge of one another in some way.

"Indeed. It's the very same."

"How?"

"Just apart of my abilities."

"You certainly have some explaining." Arison just shrugged as she already knew that he was a deity. He then turned towards Rory and nodded, to which the apostle nodded in return as she smiled before both of them went down the hill at incredible speeds. Euryale wasted no time and began raining down shining arrows from the sky.

Rory just watched them curiously as each arrow easily pierced through the armour of the bandits that they hit, causing a major panick as all the bandits began running around and furiously trying to find the source of the attack. Rory and Arison soon arrived before charging in as Rory began slicing each of them in half with ease while constantly running around.

Arison wasn't far behind at all as his speed was more than equal to her own, though he was holding himself back to match Rory. He utilised the spear with masterful skills as each swing and thrust of the spear killed five to eight bandits each. Along with Euryale's shower of arrows coming down, the bandit's numbers were descending at an alarming rate.

Arison could feel that Rory was enjoying the damn bloodbath as each bandit covered the grassy plain a bed of crimson red. Arison just appeared bored as it seemed that his mentality for seeing things like blood unaffected him. He would normally react in disgust at such a scene, but he truly didn't even feel anything anymore.

"I-It's Rory Mercury!"

"The R-Reaper!"

"Run away!"

"Wh-Who's this with her?"

"Another apostle?!"

'Apostle... yeah, right.' Arison gave a small smirk as he heard that. If what he's gathered from Rory's sentences was anything to go by, she gained her power from a god residing within this world. While she was blessed by a god, he was the genuine article.

As Rory was happily slashing all of the bandits to the ground in a bundle of blood, she took a chance to look towards Arison and saw that he was easily destroying them. His movements precise, swift, and deadly. Each of the strikes he made with the spear calculated, deadly, and overall just pleasing for her to see.

The amount of carnage Arison was creating without even trying really made her feel weird inside.

Unbeknownst to her, Arison felt a massive shiver go down his spine!

Not just Arison, Rory was also quite impressed with Euryale. She could tell the girl wasn't exactly too physically capable as Arison or herself, but her skills with a bow were worth great praise. She could shoot more than one arrow with ease, and they were powerful arrows as well as they pierced the bandits like shooting through the air.

She had noticed how she was providing great support to mainly only her. Arison didn't seem to require any support as no matter where the bandits attacked him, he dealt with them with strikes so fast that none could even come more than three meters close to him. Arison truly did interest her more than she could say!

"Rory, jump back with me!" Arison's voice called out as Rory rose an eyebrow but did so as she got back a good distance from the bandits who either were fallen to the ground in fear or were trying their best to flee. A few foolish one's stills standing and facing them, though were shaking vigorously as their weapons were close to dropping from their grips.

"How come we've stopped?"

"This is taking too much time. I don't want to waste too much longer on this, I'll get rid of the remaining bandits outside here and we'll clean up the rest inside the camp." Arison stated as Rory stared at him curiously, how was he going to do that. Arison looked towards the cliff and signalled for Euryale to stand down.

The goddess saw the sign and did so as she dismissed her bow.

"So, how do you hope to accomplish that?" Rory wondered curiously as she saw that there were still easily more than five hundred or so bandit's still alive on the open field while a few other hundred were on the ground lifeless from their previous attack. Arison just smirked. He was hoping to test this and now was his chance. He could test something and also get something done quickly.

Killing two birds with one stone.

"Just watch."

Rory watched as he spun Gáe Bolg around a few times as he then leapt high into the sky, easily around a hundred meters or so as they all stared at him as he then held Gáe Bolg high above his head as the tip was pointed towards the sky. He had the ability to summon any weapon across the Omniverse, but being The God of Combat, he could also do so much more.

One of those things... bringing forth the true potential of every weapon!

"Here we go...!" Arison smirked again as the spear glew a faint crimson glow before the tip of the spear unleashed a spiralling red and orange energy that seemed to almost encompass the sky like a sun! He then narrowed his eyes at the bandits who stared up at him with utter horror on their faces, it was like the gods were giving judgement to them.

Wouldn't be too far off the mark.

"Soaring Spear That Strikes With Death... Gáe Bolg!"

Arison then tossed the spear from his hand down towards the hundreds of bandits, though what happened next was something that Rory had not expected to happen at all! The spear suddenly exploded and multiplied into hundreds of itself that all were heading towards the bandits! She had never seen anything like that before!

The bandits couldn't produce any words as they just couldn't anything aside from accepting death as the spears soon made contact, causing an explosion that covered the entirety of the grassy plain that they all stood on. Arison having landed gracefully next to Rory, who was staring at the scene with her eyes as wide as possible.

In all her years, she had never seen such power!

The explosion lasted for only ten seconds before calming down, and when it was all clear for them to look, she along with the bandits still inside the campground all were silenced as they saw that the entire grassy plain in front of the camp was devastated with holes in which the spears landed and the bodies of the bandits still on the ground, all now lifeless and silent.

Rory had long since dropped her halberd in shock as even she hadn't ever caused this much destruction on the battlefield before. She managed to turn her head to look up at Arison as he was a head taller than her. His hair simply swaying calmly in the wind as his expression returned to his usual neutral expression as he looked at the field.

The feeling she always felt was at its maximum... this Arison truly did pique her interest!
