Yusheng had been walking in deeper part of forest. She had already decided the place for her cultivation. The place she had chosen was where beasts had their lair. In the map given by first elder it showed it had lots of beasts running around also a what seemed like a cave.
She was curious to know if it was a cave or not, and if it is then what is inside? She was bubbling to explore the area.
After walking for 2 hours more she reached what seemed like the entrance of the beast lair. The surrounding was chilling clearly indicating everybody that this place was dangerous, preventing from intrusion.
She entered the place, only the sound of crunching leaves crushed by her feet could be heard. As she entered more deeper she heard rustling sounds ahead the bushes.
She immediately opened her mental consciousness to check what was ahead. Seems like a winged sabertooth tiger was preparing to attack her, but poor tiger was already caught by yushengs mental power.
Mischeviouness erupted inside Yusheng, using qingong she alighted on top of tree and passing from one to other reached opposite side of the tiger.
Dissapearence of the crunching sound confused the tiger but also alerted the animal. Nostrils flared, it tried to catch on the scent of Yusheng.
Before it could pinpoint, Yusheng jumped behind and gave it a nice kick from behind. With the strength she had kicked, the tiger flew quite a distance and crashed on to tree then finally on ground with thump.
Shaking its body and head as if trying to ward the dizziness, it crouched glaring, bearing its teeth and began roaring as if giving a war cry.
With great speed it began to run towards Yusheng and then leaped opening its mouth wide open as if wanting to bite her head off on one chomp.
Yusheng was excited as it was her first time fighting, like getting an opportunity to use what she had learned and test her powers.
So for the next half hour the tiger became a good punching bag for Yusheng. Learning that this human was far from its prey finally it turned its belly up then laid on all its four limbs, crawling slowly signifying its defeat.
Having felt enough Yusheng decided to let it off and not to kill it, as winged sabertooth tigers were ranked on top of beast pyramid. Because their reproduction rate was very slow there were not close to extinction. It was quite a suprise to find it here, maybe because it was far from civilization that it was able to remain safe or it would have been hunted down.
Beside their skin used as a show of strength, the bones of beasts is used to make weapons and medicine, it's meat is considered a great resource for cultivators as these magic beasts have large amount of Qi.
When these beasts mature more some through with passage of time are able to become divine beasts. So when still young these beasts are captured to sell to various cultivators who raise them as their weapons while matured ones are hunted and eaten.
Seeing the crouched tiger it seemed to have reached adult phase and quite near to maturing. Yusheng lovingly patted its big head " okay, I understand wont harm you. Thank you for being a sparring partner. You are very strong leave,be on your way".
As she turned to moved to the marked place she felt that the tiger was following her slightly limping. Feeling pity for how she used it as a punching bag she opened her treasure bag brought her medical kit and treated its leg.
The tiger felt the cool sensation when the medicine powder was used on its limping limb and after a short moment it was healed.
If it could speak it would have cried yahhooo.
After treating the tiger she once again turned toward her destination. But soon the tiger had reached beside Yusheng rubbing its head, as if saying take me with you.
It was a very funny scene as the tiger on its four limbs was the exact size of current Yusheng's size. Rubbing its head on yushengs cheek even purring lightly swiping it's tail left and right like a dog it was pleading to be together with her.
Seeing how this prideful and strong creature wanted to be with her out of its own violation Yusheng decided to make it her beast, as she had yet to have one.
Hence she decided to have a blood pact with the beast rather than taming pact. Blood pact where the beast ingest the blood of its owner that has a bit of the owners Qi and life essence.
Henceforward connected by blood and life like giving birth to a child. In return the beast would gives its soul to the owner making it fiercely loyal towards its owner when reaching divine phase also will share its life essence and Qi with the owner.
While taming pact is imprinting on beats mind making them the owner. Like that of adopting a child. Though they are loyal but would not share its soul or life essence when reaching divine phase.
These days most cultivators go with taming pact as sharing ones Qi and life essence without possessing great Qi and cultivation like Yusheng would take 1/3 of their life. And taming pact let's you have up to 3 beasts altogether but with blood pact you can only have one.
Once the blood pact is complete it will not let other beasts near its master beside another beast with same blood pact, hence to avoid complications very few decide to have blood pact with their beast.
Yusheng gave her life essence and Qi filled blood to the tiger. It gently licked the blood and touched its forhead with yushengs to let her mark its soul.
There was a bright light covering them for few seconds and there was a marking on inner side of her wrist of right hand.
The mark was very pretty two red wings.
After the completion of the pact both one child and one tiger moved towards the chosen destination.
