"It's okay, I brought sunscreen," Mei Mengzhen replied, holding a big bottle that could be used on both the face and body. The young girls today lacked awareness of sun protection, so she naturally assumed no one else would bring it. She was also worried that if she only brought a small bottle, others might want to borrow it, and there wouldn't be enough to go around. That's why she brought a large 1.5L family-size bottle and several smaller ones for decanting. It wasn't for sharing with others; having smaller bottles was simply more convenient for reapplying sunscreen under the harsh sun.
