Redline
I was 13 when i saw the brightly colored lines cutting straight across the gravel parking lot, leading me back to my parents after i had gotten lost on that family trip. But before that? I really couldn't say, Maybe I had seen them before mistaking them for pavement lines and supermarket markings.
Regardless. After I noticed them, i couldn't help it. I saw them everywhere. Two lines, red and green, etched to the ground like they were marked in paint. No one else could see them, id commented on them once, to my mother, then she looked at me like i was crazy. I was old enough to know how to keep my mouth shut.
But i watched them as they wove in and out of my life.
I was always following the green line, since I believed that green is good and red is bad. Following the green line had led me to success and it stayed me out of danger. I am 30 now, got a good house, a good wife, and became the real life Tony Stark. However, life has become mundane, it is now time to discover what lies in the bright red line i've always ignored.
This was inspired by a random reddit post, i think, i saw last week. I forgot the username but credits to the owner.
The cover photo i also just found in my gallery since i always download pinterest photos. I also forgot where it came from but if the artist wants me to remove the photo please email me at freefrethalmazan@gmail.com
