Now, initially, he'd have wanted to chuck that thing into some dirty alleyway and let someone else worry about the end of the World. But no! He's got a darn system that forces him to be the quote-on-quote "Savior" of this world. Else he'll suffer torture and a fate worse than death! ...If he was forced to use the Sword for anything, perhaps cutting trees would have sufficed.
