There was a gate of rough wood was as big as a cow and ivy cascaded over the fence, growing tendrils in every direction. The stone path was punctuated with weeds after every stone. The dishevelled, un-manicured lawn was more moss than grass and was over shadowed by huge weeping willow flowing down onto the dank and squishy ground. Clusters of defiant daffodils reared their golden heads amidst the gloom and there were smatters of fuchsia along side the scarlet and saffron hued primroses.
The EntraLink was described as a formal garden. The bonsai trees lined the perfect lawn in their wooden boxes. In the centre there was a pond as large as a small lake with flowering lily pads and a wooden bridge that crossed the middle so you could look down at the koi carp. The flower beds were a riot of May colour and even on close inspection they were weed-free.
On the jewel of the garden was an apple tree where Dawn and Logan began their search.
"You're looking for Victini?" Logan asked.
"Yes! If I could capture it, wouldn't it be great for contests too?"
"Hmm, I guess so," said Logan. "Thing is, I kinda know where it is, but I've got to keep it a secret because I find it wrong... to just, er... because I fought for it with Luna to preserve it and not let anyone capture it," said Logan anxiously.
"Oh," Dawn frowned. "I guess, I haven't thought about that. After all, you are right. This is probably Victini's home, and disturbing it, I must agree, would be rude."
"But hey? Maybe taking a peep at where it sleeps will do enough. What do you say?"
"That'd be an awesome privilege!"
"Cool! Then what are we waiting for," Logan grabbed her hand and followed the primaroses. It was a path that eventually led them to a wide perfectly circular flat space of land. There, one streak of light shone towards a rock where Victini was seen sleeping.
"Ah, it looks so adorable," Dawn's cheeks were blushing. She grabbed her phone out of the bag as she took pictures of the cutie. For her, truly it was a bunny.
"Can we pet it?" begged Dawn.
"Well, as long as it's not Pokeballs you throw, I guess that's fine."
"Really? Thanks!" She began to squeal, "Hey! Over here, Victini!"
The Pokemon woke up. Cowered in fear, it hid itself by turning invisible.
"You see, Victini's kinda a timid Pokemon so I suggest you calm down a bit and approach her docilely."
"Hmm, I know just the thing! Macaroons always bring cuties to me." Dawn grabbed her lunch box and waved a pink one on the air.
Bit by bit, under its invisible state, Victini chomped on the macaroon. It emitted a few of its cute cries. Dawn fed it more until the Pokemon was comfortable around the both of them.
Victini finally showed its true appearance and swiveled around Dawn and Logan. The two started tickling its tummy as it filled the air with its curls of skinny laughter.
"See, I told you macaroons always do the thing!"
"Yeah, I believe you... Ouch! Victini, you don't have to bite me."
<Vic! Vic!> Victini swiveled around. Unexpectedly, a net rocketed towards the fella, encompassing it in thick wires. The wires were also electrified, dealing severe amount of damage to Victini through electrocution.
Dawn and Logan gazed at the blinding sky, their hair flapping with the sudden stregth of the wind.
"Was it this time?" Logan glared. The black chopper was somewhat familiar to him.
"That woman doesn't know when to give up now, doesn't she?" grumbled Logan.
The chopper headed for the grass as its sliding doors were opened. Jenny's remaining members are up for one final stand. Blocking the sun out of the blue was a shriek. Dawn and Logan couldn't identify who it was or what, but they were certain it rode on top of a monster with beady blue eyes.
"Masked Marauder, he's here too! We're less than ten. We can't handle them."
"Just hurry and get Victini. Once its ours, Reshiram is no match for us!"
"If that's your bidding, Masked Maruader. I hope you're sure this will work. If it fails, there are no do-overs."
"Yeah, yeah, go!"
Jenny's grunts jumped down, running to Victini who screamed in pain. N's mischievous smile told he was confident, but hey? V stands for Victory if I remember correctly.
