Pokemon: A different Ash

When I woke up, I found myself in a world where Pokémon and humans coexisted. As I looked at the slightly immature, yet familiar, faces in the mirror, several phrases popped into my head: "Pokemon Releaser," "Defeat at start," and "Ultimate Dense Man." No way! Having the rare chance to be reborn, I refused to be labeled like that again. Then— Pokemon Releaser? What? Uncle, you want to raise my Primeape? Come on, uncle, do you even know your own level? Defeat at the beginning? From then on, every second male lead in each Region started to understand what social beatings meant. The ultimate dense man? Ash: Uh... I swear, I just get along with them normally. I have no intention of flirting. Disclaimer All content belongs to the original creator. "Hmm? Yes! Is there a problem?" Before I knew it, it was already eight or nine o'clock in the morning, and several hours had passed, but Ash hadn't noticed.

There had been no one around before, but suddenly I heard a voice and realized how much time had passed. I turned to see a little boy in shorts standing not far away.

"Are you training your Pokémon? Your Pokémon look so strong! will you please have a battle with me?" The little boy asked Ash eagerly. Ash had encountered many similar challenges yesterday.

There are a lot of Trainers in this world, and while some are easy to defeat, Trainers often encounter challenges, much like in the games.

Ash had already defeated many opponents yesterday, and every Trainer constantly seeks battles to improve their strength, so it wasn't surprising.

"Of course!" Ash replied without hesitation. Gaining battle experience is always a good thing, and he would never refuse a challenge.

"How about we make it a one-on-one battle?" Typically, roadside battles are brief since everyone is usually in a hurry.

"No problem!"

"Then I'm going! Go, Rattata!" The little boy sent out his Pokémon first—it was a Rattata.

It had purple fur, a spiral tail, and a pair of huge front teeth that served as its primary means of attack.

"Hmm~~~" Ash looked at the Pokémon on his side, thinking about which one to send out.

Eevee cried out and, without waiting for Ash to decide, jumped directly in front of him, facing Rattata with a determined look.

Among all of Ash's Pokémon, Eevee had the strongest desire to fight and a competitive personality. It was quite different from the typical soft and cute Eevee in the mind of many people.

"Okay! I'll use Eevee. Don't hold back Eevee, attack it!" Ash encouraged, noticing Eevee's eagerness to battle.

The little boy didn't hesitate. Even though Ash already had six Pokémon with him, which was impressive for a rookie, the boy knew Ash's strength wasn't to be taken lightly after watching him train.

"Then here I go, Rattata, use Tackle!"

"Dodge it!" Ash commanded as Rattata charged forward. From just a glance, Ash could tell the little boy lacked battle experience, so he gave his command.

Eevee quickly leapt out of the way, easily dodging Rattata's attack. Frustrated, the little boy immediately called for another move.

"Rattata, use Bite!"

Hearing the command, Rattata changed direction, its front teeth glowing as it lunged forward. This time, Ash didn't hold back and countered head-on.

"Eevee, use Iron Tail!"

With that order, Eevee dashed forward, faster than Rattata. Rattata, initially charging toward Eevee, was stunned by Eevee's sudden burst of speed. In the blink of an eye, Eevee was right in front of it, ready to strike.

Eevee twisted her body and flicked her large tail. The tail gleamed with a metallic luster as she struck Rattata directly in the face.

Boom!!!

With a loud impact, Iron Tail connected with Rattata's face, and the sheer force sent Rattata flying, tumbling several times across the ground.

With just one blow, Rattata's eyes rolled back, and it lost the ability to continue fighting.

"Ah! Rattata!!" The little boy shouted in panic, rushing over to his defeated Pokémon. Though he knew his opponent was strong, he hadn't expected Rattata to be defeated in a single hit.

At that moment, Brock and Misty arrived, intending to call Ash back for breakfast, and they caught sight of the battle's conclusion.

"Huh? Someone came to challenge him this early? This makes the 20th one!" Misty remarked, surprised as she watched.

The little boy, hearing Misty's comment, looked up in astonishment, retrieved Rattata, and stood up.

"You're amazing. Thank you for the battle!" The little boy said, walking up to Ash and extending his hand. Considering Ash's skill, it was clear he had been training his Pokémon here for a long time, which explained his strength.

"It's nothing!" Ash responded casually.

To be honest, this didn't feel like much of a battle to him, but it was a good way to wrap up his morning training.

"You're really strong—maybe even stronger than A.J.!" The little boy said after they shook hands.

"A.J.?" Misty asked curiously as she and Brock joined Ash.

"Yeah! He's known as the Beast Envoy, and he runs a private gym up ahead. He's won over 90 consecutive battles!" the little boy explained, nodding.

"Ninety? Over 90 wins in a row?" Misty exclaimed, surprised. Ash hadn't lost yesterday, but his streak was only in the twenties. It sounded like this A.J. was truly formidable.

"Yes, he's quite famous around here. If you're interested, you should check him out." After sharing this information, the little boy said his goodbyes and left.

Ash, Brock, and Misty didn't dwell on it. Ash returned his Pokémon to their Poké Balls, and the three of them headed back to their campsite, where Brock had breakfast ready. Ash also prepared some food for his Pokémon, and then they all sat down to enjoy the meal.

After breakfast, they packed up the camp. Ash returned all his Pokémon, and the trio set off once again.

Along the way, Ash encountered many more Trainers, and he accepted every challenge. By the end of the morning, his winning streak had climbed to over 30 battles.
