Pirate Harem System

"Ed, you are turning 25 this year, don't you think it's about time you look for a girlfriend?" Ed's friend joked.

"Yes, everyone is here with a girlfriend, why don't you get any? See the girl over there? Try to ask her out," his other friend suggested with a snigger.

"Why would I do that? It would be counterproductive to my work," Ed replied nonchalantly.

"Pftt... Ed will only get a girl if his job requires him to get a girlfriend," they laughed at him.

Seeing Ed's glare at them, they changed the topic, "Anyway, drink, we got a special drink for you," they gave him a bottle.

Ed didn't like to play with girls or any other entertainment, but one thing he loved was drinking. Even though he had no tolerance for alcohol, he drank anyway to have some fun.

"You know what? If I set my mind on it, then there is nothing I can't do," He mumbled while swaying a bit to the side.

"I think he is drunk already," one friend whispered to another.

"then how about we prank him?" the other one asked.

"How? Pay a girl to accompany him?"

"Of course not, that would be too good for him. Watch and learn," he mouthed as he walked to Ed.

"Ed, bro, do you see the girl over there? Can you give her this and ask her to go out with you?" he asked Ed while handing him a ten-dollar bill.

Ed frowned a bit at his friend's request, "why would I do that?" he asked his back.

"Didn't you say that you can do anything? Are you afraid?" he taunted Ed.

If there was anything Ed hates, it would be losing. He would always do his best to come out on top of other people.

"You just wait," He said while getting up from his seat. He walked slowly toward the girl so he would not fall from being drunk.

"Hello, this is for you! Now be my girlfriend!" He commanded the girl while shoving the ten-dollar bit to her face.

She looked down at the bill and smiled sweetly at him, "Sure," she said.

Ed straightened his back in his success, but before he could tell his friend he succeeded, a slap flew toward him. It hit him so hard that it made him unconscious.

When Ed woke up, he found himself in an unfamiliar bedroom, "Ugh... my head is killing me," He said while massaging his head.

He tried to get up only to find himself buck naked with some kiss mark on his body, "What the hell?! What did I do last night" he wondered.

He got up from the bed quickly. He went toward a big mirror on the wall and he saw his reflection in it. It showed a familiar face, but to his confusion, his hair was so long and unkempt.

"How did my hair grow so long in one night?!" He wondered when a flood of memories entered his mind.

"What the fuck? I have been transmigrated to an Idiot's body!!!" He cursed as he couldn't believe his situation.

Edward was transmigrated into a body of a criminal, the owner's body's name was also Edward, he had kidnaped two girls and stolen their spaceship, and he planned to be a pirate with his newly gained spaceship.

To check if what his memory told him was the truth, he pressed a button under the mirror and it turned invisible. He could see a space full of stars outside the window.

He could not help but grimace as the real owner of his body was truly a delusional idiot. He wanted to be a pirate just because he stole a passenger spaceship.

"How the fuck, you can be a pirate all alone without a crew," he lamented at his predecessor's incompetence.

Even the smallest pirate had at least a frigate and a dozen crew to man the ship and the weapon system. On the other hand, the real body's owner just stole a small passenger ship all by himself and set out to space.

He wanted to bash his head on the floor in hope everything was just a dream, "How did being slapped by a girl turn into this nightmare?" he wondered in sorrow.

"Fuck it!" In frustration, he bashed his head on the mirror in front of him.

Ed staggered back with a headache. It was so bad that he could even hear a strange beeping voice and he could see some kind of screen in front of him.

'System Hard Reboot Initiated...'

'Error found... Re-Installing System...'

'1%... 25%... 75%... 100%... Re-Calibrating..."

'Installation Complete...'

'Piracy System Initiated... Checking Compatibility...'

'Harem Path Unlocked...'

"I think I just made it worse," He thought as he heard a voice in his head.

'Welcome Host, I'm your personal Ai Pirate, Piracy System will help you become number one pirate in the galaxy and build your harem,' a robotic voice resound.

"I think I need to get some drink, I'm hallucinating," He mumbled.

To his dismay, even after some time, he could still see the screen that appeared in his vision after his antic. There were three menus on it, Profile, Mission, and Shop.

"Let's check profile then," He thought as he pressed the screen.

He could see a long line of data on the blue screen in front of him.

'Host Name: Edward'

'Occupation: Pirate'

'Rank: Idiot Pirate'

'Combat Ship: -'

'Combat Force:-'

'Description: Idiotic pirate want to be who have no underling nor power'

"Ugh... What is it with the rank and description? Is this system joking with me?" he could not help but retort in annoyance.

'Answering to Idiotic Host... The System was not programmed to joke around... Beep,' The robotic voice made fun of him.

Ed punched the screen, but it ended up going through the screen as he could not touch it, it was just in his head and he could not really touch it.

"Nevermind, let's just check the mission," He mumbled while nursing his headache. He knew there was nothing he could do to the system.

Another screen could be seen in front of him showing the mission menu.

'Main Mission: Increase the favorability of Harem members toward the host, at least to neutral. Reward: Pirate Lucky Spin, Numbers depend on how high the favorability increased'

'Current progress: Aya's Favorability= -100 (Mortal Enemy), Dea's Favorability= -100 (Mortal Enemy)'

He could feel his headache growing from the sheer stupidity of his mission.

"Ugh... I think I need more rest," Ed said as he climbed back to his bed to sleep and forget all his problems.

He just about to sleep when a loud voice would be heard like an alarm in his head.

'Beep... Beep... Beep...'

'WARNING!!! Bounty has been submitted to capture Host! WARNING!!!'

'Calculating Risk... Possible Enemy... One Small Mercenary Group... Threat Level... Lethal'

'Calculating Survival Chance... Survival Chance 5%...'

"Fuck! Can life get even worse?!" he cursed loudly.
