Pets

In this world, humans have bred humans with dog and cat traits. These humans are called "pets" and they serve whoever buys them. Pets can be traded for money or other pets, and worst of all, they can be punished in any way by their master. My name is Rudy, and I am a pet cat. I have long, blonde hair that reaches my shoulders. I have a white tail and white ears.

Most masters are picky, and they usually choose dogs over cats because of their behavior when they're trained. Some masters choose cats because they submit to sex a bit faster than dogs, but they are hard to deal with unless you punish them.

I'm old enough to be bought, so I was put on a leash, and taken outside. I saw a lot of people staring at me and the dog next to me. The person said, "We're doing the pet dog first!" A bunch of people shouted numbers until a man won by buying the dog for twelve thousand dollars. She was taken away, and I was next.

The person yanked on my chain, and shouted, "Next, we're doing a cat!" Some people shouted numbers until only one person said, "Forty-thousand!" I think I felt my heart stop beating for a second. He was chubby- no he fat. He wore a green shirt that didn't fit him, and he had hair in all sorts of places. I looked away from him, and someone shouted, "Fifty-thousand!"

I looked down and I saw a man wearing a suit. He had jet black hair and green eyes, and he had a normal figure, but he looked tough. The fat man shouted, "Sixty-thousand!" Then the other said, "Seventy-thousand!" "Eighty-thousand!"

"Ninety-thousand!"

This kept going on until the man in the suit shouted, "One million for the cat!" The fat man and everyone else was stunned. Even the person holding my chain looked surprised. I honestly didn't understand money, but a million seemed very valuable. I thought of it as a million shiny rocks to understand. The person holding my chain gulped and said, "The cat goes to the man in the suit! Come up and claim your prize!"

The man walked up onto the stage and grabbed my chain. He yanked on it, and I followed him outside. He walked me to a long black car. He opened the door and put me inside. The car seats were very soft, so I decided to take a small nap. Someone woke me up by picking me up. I rubbed my eyes and I saw a huge house.

When we walked inside, everything looked nicer than nice. The man said, "Master. I got the pet you wanted." A teen walked over and glared at me. I just looked at him, and he said "Put him down." The other man did as he said, and placed me onto the ground in front of him. He said, "You can go now, Al. See ya later." The man behind me bowed and walked away.

The teen looked at me curiously and asked, "What's your name?" I replied, "My name is Rudy." The teen asked me, "How old are you?" I replied, "I am fifteen years old." The teen said, "Alright. I'm Tim and I'm seventeen years old." I just said, "Uh.. nice to meet you?" A man came in and he said, "It seems that this cat needs to be trained."

The teen looked at the man quite worriedly, and the man said, "It's okay. He won't get hurt too bad." I tried to walk away, but the man grabbed the chain and dragged me into the basement. When he opened the door, I immediately became scared.

Other pets warned me about stuff like this, and it hurts a lot. I tried to resist, but in return, I got kicked in the gut. "You will not resist when your master takes you somewhere, no matter what." He grimly said. I glared at him, and he smacked me in the face saying, "You don't look at your master unless he calls on you."

I listened to what he said because I didn't want to get hurt again. When I did something wrong, he'd hit me with his hands or a whip. I had a feeling that my first few days here will be hell.
