Chapter 1Chapter 1

As the morning sun cast a warm glow over the modest home, Song Sun Mi's voice rang out, full of warmth and familiarity.

"Jae Gu, come in and eat breakfast!" she called.

Outside, Song Jae Gu—formerly known as Rock Lee—halted his training, his body slick with sweat from the rigorous morning regimen that had begun at 5 AM. He took a deep breath, feeling the satisfying burn in his muscles before pouring cold water over himself, letting it cascade down his toned form.

A small smile formed on his lips as he heard his mother's voice. 'Mother seems to be doing well now,' he thought, remembering the hardships they had endured. He entered the house and, without warning, wrapped his arms around his mother from behind in a warm hug.

"Hey, you stinky brat! Go and take a bath!" Song Sun Mi scolded playfully, wrinkling her nose as she felt his damp clothes press against her.

Lee chuckled, releasing her. "Okay, okay. It's just good to see you doing well." His voice was soft, filled with genuine affection.

She paused for a moment, her hands tightening around the dish she was holding. A mixture of emotions flickered across her face before she masked them with a small smile. "Go on then, before you make the whole house smell like a gym."

Lee grinned and made his way to the washroom. As he closed the door behind him, Sun Mi sighed, shaking her head. 'If you can be strong, how can I show weakness?' she mused. 'You have worked hard from the beginning and are an exceptional child; it is only a matter of time before you succeed.'

Meanwhile, she turned her attention to waking up her younger children, Song Jae Hyung and Song Jae Som, who were still curled up in bed.

"Come on, you two, it's time for school!" she called, clapping her hands.

Jae Som groaned and pulled the blanket over her head. "Five more minutes, eomma~" she mumbled.

Jae Hyung, on the other hand, was more energetic. He sat up with a sleepy grin. "Did hyung already finish training?"

"Yes, and he's already in the shower," Sun Mi replied.

Jae Hyung's eyes widened. "Whoa! He's like a superhero! I wanna train like him too!"

"You'd break your bones before breakfast," Jae Som grumbled, finally sitting up and rubbing her eyes.

By the time Lee stepped out of the washroom, dressed in his clean uniform, the smell of freshly cooked food wafted through the air. He walked over to the table and sat down just as his younger siblings joined him.

"You look cool, hyung," Jae Hyung said, grinning. "Like one of those martial arts champions on TV!"

Lee chuckled and ruffled the boy's hair. "Thanks, champ. You'll get there one day too."

Jae Som, still half-asleep, muttered, "Just don't break anything in the house if you two start sparring."

Sun Mi served them breakfast, sitting down at the table with a sigh. "Lee, are you ready for today? Wild's High is… different."

Lee nodded, excitement flashing in his eyes. "This school is perfect for me, eomma. I can finally test my skills against real fighters."

Sun Mi studied his face, her worry evident. "Just don't push yourself too hard, okay? You already do so much."

Lee gave her a reassuring smile. "I'll be fine. I promise."

Jae Hyung pumped his fist. "Hyung's gonna be the strongest!"

Jae Som smirked. "He already is."

Lee laughed. "We'll see about that. Now eat up before we're all late."

With that, the family enjoyed their breakfast together, sharing laughter and warmth—something that had been scarce in their lives for a long time.

As breakfast continued, the conversation drifted back to street fighting.

"Hyung, so you are gonna join the fights, right?" Jae Hyung asked excitedly, practically bouncing in his seat.

Jae Som, ever the skeptic, raised an eyebrow. "You've been training for so long, but you've never actually fought in an official match. You could totally take on those big names."

Lee took a sip of his tea, a smirk tugging at his lips. "You guys really want me to join that badly?"

Jae Hyung pumped his fist. "Duh! You're already stronger than most of those fighters! You have Ki, and you fight like an anime character! It's not fair if you don't show off!"

Lee chuckled. His little brother wasn't wrong. While he had been adjusting to this new world, he had spent his time training, observing, and earning—though the last part wasn't exactly legal.

The Green Flash was already a whispered legend in the criminal underworld. Thugs, gangsters, and shady syndicates had learned the hard way that some masked fighter was taking them down, stripping them of their dirty money, and vanishing without a trace. They feared him, but the public loved him—an unknown hero dealing justice in the shadows.

Thanks to that, Lee had managed to secure a stable life for his family. Their house wasn't extravagant, but it was comfortable. His siblings didn't go hungry, and his mother no longer had to work herself to the bone.

But official street fighting was different. It wasn't a secret battle against criminals—it was a world where real warriors fought for fame, money, and glory.

Lee leaned forward, resting his arms on the table. "I was waiting for the right time," he admitted. "Wild's High is a good start, but yeah… I'm definitely going to join the fights soon."

Jae Hyung nearly choked on his food. "For real!?"

Jae Som smirked. "About time. But why now?"

Lee's eyes gleamed with excitement. "Because I finally feel ready." He cracked his knuckles. "I've been adjusting to this world, training my body, and understanding Ki—it's time to test it all in real combat."

Sun Mi, who had been listening silently, let out a long sigh. "I knew this day would come." She looked at her son, her eyes filled with concern yet acceptance. "You've always been different… stronger than others. I won't stop you, Jae Gu, but promise me one thing."

Lee met her gaze. "What is it?"

She tightened her grip on her teacup. "No matter how strong you are, don't let fighting consume you."

Lee's expression softened. He knew what she meant. Strength could be a double-edged sword. He had already killed before in his past life, and he had seen how power could corrupt.

He reached out and gently squeezed her hand. "I promise, eomma. I fight to protect, not destroy."

She sighed, but a small smile tugged at her lips. "Then I'll trust you."

Jae Hyung grinned. "This is gonna be awesome! Hyung's gonna be a legend!"

Jae Som smirked. "He already is… They just don't know it yet."

Lee simply chuckled. Soon, the world of official street fighting would learn the name Song Jae Gu. But for now… he would enjoy this moment with his family.

As Lee walked down the street towards Wild's High, he casually stretched his arms, enjoying the fresh morning air. His life had taken quite a turn since arriving in this world, but he had adapted well. His training was solid, his family was stable, and now, finally, he was about to start fighting for real.

Then, a limousine came into view.

"Man, what a rich girl," Lee muttered, shaking his head. He had seen plenty of flashy people back in Konoha—nobles, warlords, and the occasional eccentric shinobi—but wealth in this world was an entirely different beast.

He was about to walk past when he caught a glimpse of her.

A girl with long, neatly styled blonde hair and an aura of authority stepped out, exuding the presence of a queen. Behind her, another girl with long red hair and a sharp, confident expression followed.

For a brief moment, Lee froze. His brain short-circuited.

Then, before he could stop himself, his legs moved.

A blur of motion later, he appeared in front of them, stopping dramatically with a firm stance.

"May I know your name?" he asked with unwavering sincerity, his eyes locked onto the girl before him.

Queen barely glanced at him, her expression indifferent. "You're blocking my way."

Lee grinned. "Oh? My apologies." He stepped aside slightly, but his eyes didn't waver.

"Hehe, Queen's as cruel as ever," Moon Young Lee, the second girl, commented with amusement. She smirked at Lee. "You should give up already; she's way out of your league."

Lee chuckled. "Oh, but I was not asking for her name."

Moon Young blinked. "Huh?"

Lee struck a pose—fist over his heart, back straight, and an exaggeratedly passionate gaze in his eyes. "It is you whose name I seek. Your beauty has captured my heart at first glance. I, Song Jae Gu, declare my undying love for you!"

Silence.

Queen stared, her expression blank.

Moon Young's mouth slightly parted as her brain processed what just happened.

The limo driver choked on air.

A random bird in the distance cawed in confusion.

Then—

"I accept."

Before anyone could react, Moon Young grabbed Lee's wrist and started dragging him towards the school, her face slightly flushed but her grin mischievous. "Let's go, lover boy! You're my type!"

"W-Wait, that was fast!" Lee sputtered as he was yanked forward, his feet barely keeping up. "Shouldn't we, like, talk first? Exchange numbers? Go on a few dates before the whole lifelong devotion thing? I was just messing around!"

Moon Young smirked. "Too late! You confessed, I accepted! That's how it works, right?"

Lee mentally groaned. 'This is what I get for joking around. Why am I like this?'

Meanwhile, Queen watched them walk off, her arms crossed.

'That's the first time someone has ignored my presence,' she mused. Her gaze flickered over Lee's form. 'He moves like a fighter. His stance, his reaction speed… he's strong. Maybe even stronger than the current students in Wild's High. He might be interesting.'

The limo driver hesitated. "Uh… Miss Queen, should I…?"

Queen turned and stepped into the limousine without another word, but a faint smirk ghosted her lips.

As they walked towards the school, Moon Young Lee held onto Song Jae Gu's arm, her grip firm yet casual. A playful smile graced her lips as she looked up at him.

"My name is Moon Young Lee. Song Jae Gu, did you really mean what you said? You think I'm better looking than Queen?" she asked, her voice laced with curiosity and amusement.

Lee turned his head towards her, his expression sincere. "Yes. The moment I laid my eyes on you, I couldn't see anything else." His tone was lighthearted, yet honest. Then, with a small chuckle, he added, "However, I think we should start as friends and see where it goes."

Moon Young's smile widened. She wasn't the type to swoon over romantic words, but there was something refreshing about the way he spoke—bold yet not overbearing. "Hehe, you're really a sweet talker." She squeezed his arm lightly. "And you know what? I don't mind waiting."

Lee simply smiled in response. He had received his fair share of confessions and interest from girls, but most of them were too delicate, too soft for his liking. Moon Young, on the other hand, reminded him of someone from his past—Sakura. The similarities weren't just in personality; while Sakura had pink hair, Moon Young's was a fiery red. Both carried themselves with strength, and Lee respected that.

"I'll help you around school, so don't hesitate to ask me if you need anything," she offered, her voice brimming with confidence.

"Thanks," Lee replied. Then, as if sensing her strength, a grin tugged at his lips. "From the way you talk, it sounds like you're pretty high-ranked in the school. How about we have a match after class? I've been itching for a real fight."

Moon Young's eyes gleamed with excitement. "Oh? Are you really challenging me?"

"Definitely," Lee said without hesitation. His tone was eager, almost aggressive, a reflection of his burning desire to test himself against the strongest fighters. "Fighting is one of the main reasons I joined this school."

Moon Young felt her heart race—not from romance, but from thrill. She was a brute at heart, and nothing excited her more than a good fight. She subtly squeezed his arm, feeling the solid muscles beneath his uniform.

"Then after school, I'll see you in the ring," she said, releasing his arm and taking a step back.

Lee gave her a confident nod. "I'll be looking forward to it."

With a final smirk, Moon Young turned on her heel and walked ahead, her posture relaxed yet brimming with anticipation.

Lee watched her go, a small chuckle escaping him. 'This school might actually be fun.'
