Chapter 94

Luthor stood within the room in which Carnage just disappeared, taking C-1 with him. He inspected the room before tapping his watch, a small hologram of mister Fox appearing above the watch.

"Now what?" Luthor asked, causing Mister Fox to smile.

"I need you to collect some blood samples. With that, I should be able to gain all the knowledge there is about this Kree race, finding his weakness." Mister Fox answered, a smirk appearing on his face. "And you will also get what you so desire."

"And what will you get from helping me?" Luthor asked, not trusting Mister Fox one bit. "How should I know you won't rat me out to Carnage?"

"Because I want him dead." Mister Fox said matter of factly.

Luthor stared at Mister Fox, not still trusting him. "Show me your face."

"Hehehe. You know I can't do that." Mister fox said, grabbing onto his mask. "Now. Either keep asking for my identity or do what you have to do. It won't hurt me if you decide to bail, but it will hurt you." With that, Mister Fox disappeared.

Looking at his watch, Luthor sighed, a small smile appearing on his face. "We will see about that. Fox."

A red streak moved through the Pacific Ocean at an unimaginable speed. This was Carnage. He was currently moving at Mach 987, which is barely 0.11 the speed of light. Although this seems slow, with this speed, he could run around the Earth in about 25 hours, which is astonishing.

Carnage quickly ran through Japan and South Korea. As he entered China, he quickly moved his hand, catching something out of mid-air. Looking down, he saw an arrow glowing with golden precedence.

'Magic.' He thought, looking forward, seeing two people staring at him, a male and a female. Behind them was the moon, which doesn't make sense as it was supposed to be the day.

"Hello." The man said. He stood around the height of 5'8", wearing purple archer armor, and held a bow with a quiver on his back. "The great ten welcome you to China. Now, please get out." He announced.

"I believe you need to brush up with your math skills." Carnage Snarled, scanning the duo as the energy arrow disappeared from his grip. "I don't know how great you are, but I only count two."

"I have heard a lot about you, Carnage." The only woman in the group said. She was dressed in all green, a green eye mask while holding two green pistols. Beside her stood a living jade statue of a lion. "Your evil soul will be of use to the land of Ghost Fox Women."

"I don't think my soul will be of use." Carnage smirked, walking forward.

"It will." The woman said, petting her jade lion. "Your soul is the evilest male soul on this planet. It will be able to power the Ghost Fox Women society for a century." She finished, scratching her jade lion hysterically.

"It sounds like your society is made to hunt down evil people." Carnage laughed, becoming interested in this society. From the sound of it, they use the souls of evil people to do... things. After all, one of his main weaknesses is his soul.

"Hahaha, oh no." The woman laughed as if Carnage just said something stupid. "Our mission is to spill the blood of evil men."

"Sound kind of... sexist?" Carnage mumbled.

"Ok. Stop moving forward." The man with the bow shouted. He pointed his bow at Carnage with an arrow nocked on it. "What is your purpose for you coming to China? To mess it up as you did to America?"

"No. I am just here to take back my pet." Carnage said, inspecting the bow.

"You are not invited to China. Now, leave immediately." The man said, drawing back his arrow.

Carnage stared at the man for some time before saying, "I don't need to be invited."

The man released his arrow without a second thought, which wooshed by like a streak of light. It moved at a speed that made Carnage unable to react, stabbing him on his chest. Carnage stared wide-eyed at the arrow stuck on his chest. Nothing has ever moved faster than his reaction speed in years, and it was... not to his liking.

Carnage looked up at the shocked man, smiling. "You should have gone for the head."

He disappeared with a red streak, appearing behind the man. Before he could react, his neck was snapped by Carnage. As Carnage watched his lifeless body fall, he tried to grab the bow, but it disappeared into little droplets of lights.

"No one but Xu Tao can use the Celestial Bow of Yi." The woman shared, noticing what Carnage was trying to do. "Now. Die for me."

With that, thousands, if not, millions of green ghosts appeared around them. All of them were men belonging to the Chinese heritage, and their looks alone will tell everyone they were evil. Most of them wielded a weapon, be it a gun, ax, or knife.

Time suddenly slowed down as Carnage walked up to one ghost, touching it. "They are solid. Interesting." Looking back at the lady in green, Carnage continued his thought. "I guess the soul of anyone... no, any man she kills stays with her, and with a command, they come into the living world. An interesting power."

Walking through the ghost, he stood in front of her, inspecting her and her jade lion closely. "I guess a soul is living within the jade lion." Carnage was about to touch her face but he felt the feeling of total death looming over him. Retreating his hand, he severed his left arm, which grew back immediately. He then used the severed arm to touch the woman, and the arm slowly withered away. To him, it was slow, but he knew once he left the speed time, the arm will wither away, fast. "Yet another great power. Magic is really versatile. I should stop postponing when I should learn magic."

Serving another of his arm, he vibrated before sticking it through the woman's chest. He then served another, placing it through her brain. Letting them become solid and leaving speed time, he watched her body drop down, dead. Most of the ghosts gave him a nod of thanks as they disappeared into droplets of green lights, signifying her death.

"Now that's is over with, I should go retrieve my pet from the Chinese government." Carnage said, looking in the direction of his creation. Although his connection to it isn't as strong as his connection with C-1, he still knows their general location. And it was currently located 15 thousand meters below the earth's surface. "But first..."

He disappeared with a streak of red lightning, appearing in a city of China. Going to a random computer in an empty library, he quickly hacked into the watch he gave Cheetah and the others. The watch was used for communication and also to know their general location.

"Cheetah, I need you to do something for me." Carnage said, hearing loud noise going on in the background.

"Not right now. I am currently having a little tussle with Ra's al Ghul right now." Cheetah shouted, a multiple. "Hahaha. Becoming a Kree was a great Idea. Who knew I would be able to lay waste to Ra's al Ghul. And now I can move at Mach 1."

"I need you to find all you can about Ghost Fox Women." Carnage said, using super-speed to fill up his tables with beginners book to learn mandarin. Since he is in China, he might as well learn their language.

"I have heard a lot about them. Give me three days. I will get all the information I can about the Ghost Fox Women." Cheetah assured, a sound of bone breaking coming from the background. "Also, the League of Assassins is now under our control. They are one of the best secret organizations in the world."

"Uh-huh. Just find about the Ghost Fox Women." Carnage mumbled, cutting the call and using superspeed to go through all the books.

In less than a minute, he learned mandarin, but not perfectly. Standing up, he felt the speed force calling him, which surprised him. In the year or so since he has become the Speed Force enforcer, this is the first time he is being called. Deleting his trace from the computer and the security system, Carnage immediately entered into the speed force.

He then appeared in the white room, and sitting on the only seat in the middle of the room was the speed force. This time, it was in the form of Bruce Wayne, wearing a black suit.

Seeing Carnage, a smile appeared on its face. "It has been long, Rick."

"You too, speed force." Carnage said, still having the feeling of submission within him. 'It is akin to a god after all.'

"I need you to go after a speedster for me." The speed force said, standing up from its seat. "He hails from dimension 2,989,836. Or as the humans call it, Earth 2,989,836. He has changed the timeline a total of 100 times, and all of them bigger than the last."

"That's a lot of times." He has never changed the timeline and has only time travel once. Even Flash hasn't time traveled that amount of time. "By the way, how fast does he move?"

"He is slow, moving at 10% the speed of light." The speed force answered, stopping in front of Carnage. "You should be able to catch him."

"H-he moves at Mach 87 thousand!!!" Carnage shouted, "How the fuck am I supposed to catch him!? My top is Mach 900. That's not anywhere close to 1% the speed of light, which is Mach 8 thousand."

"Just try." The speed force said, patting Carnage's face. "After you get your pet, I mean."

Carnage moved away from the Speed force touch, a look of disgust on his face. "I don't feel comfortable when you are in this form. It fell like Batman is sending me on a mission."

"I know. Now off you go."
