Chapter 92

Carnage donned on a white lab coat as he walked into the secret lab in his base in the South Pole. In there was Luthor, already working on the Mother Box. The door closed behind him as he looked over to Luthor, who was sitting in front of the main computer.

"Anything?" Carnage asked, already knowing the answer from Luthor's frustrated expression.

"Nothing. No reading. Our technology isn't enough to look into this box." Luthor sighed, rubbing the bridge of his nose. "Also, there has been a snake trying to enter the main database of the Injustice."

"Oh?" Carnage mumbled, a hint of interest in his voice. He sat down in front of the room's main computer, which was as big as the Btcomputer. He watched as the hacker fought against his firewall, shaking his head. "He is a professional, but no were as close as me when I just started hacking." With some quick work, he tracked down the hacker.

"A member of the D.E.O. Interesting," Luthor mumbled as he typed away on his side of the computer. "We are spying on the spy who is spying on us."

What Luthor said caused Carnage to chuckle as he said, "True-"

"Why would they try to hack the infamous Carnage computer with such bad skills." A deep and horse voice came through their computer, startling Luthor. Multiple imagines flashed on the screen before stopping at the image of a man wearing a half fox mask that only covers the top half of his face. "Good to see you again, Carnage. And you, Lex Luthor."

"And who might you be?" Carnage asked, not attempting to block the man out. There is only one person he knows that has the ability to go past his firewall, and if this man is in the same league as her, he will be very useful. "To have the audacity and the ability to go past my firewall, you must have something in mind. What is it?"

"My name is Mister Fox. I will assist you in opening the Mother Box, and in return, I need something from you." Mister Fox replied, a smile appearing on his face.

Hering this, a grin formed on Carnages face. "You know, after you help me, there is a 100% chance I won't return the favor."

"I know. But when the time comes, we will see if you can refuse it." Mister Fox chuckled, beaming with confidence.

"Hahaha... You are a confident one, aren't you... So what do you want me to do for you if you can help me with opening the mother box" Carnage asked while smiling

"What I want will be discussed after opening the Mother Box." Mister Fox said, dismissing the question.

"How could you possibly help us," Luthor asked, sitting back on his chair. This is also a question Carnage wants to know.

"There are two ways to extract the information from the mother Box. The first way is forced extraction." Mister Fox paused to gather his thoughts before continuing. "This is when you activate the box next to an organic being, allowing them to fuse with it. People like Cyborg are an example. But this will open a Boom Tube leading to Apokolips."

"And how do you activate the Box?" Luthor demanded, not caring about the risk of causing another invasion.

"Only those connected to Apokolips can activate it." Carnage guessed, folding his arm. Seeing Mister Fox nod, he continued, "I will go bring in Cyborg."

As Carnage was about to go, Mister Fox spoke, "Won't you listing to the second way?"

"Why?" Luthor questioned, standing up from his seat. "Carnage will kidnap Cyborg then force him to activate the Mother Box. It is as simple as one two three."

"If you follow that path, it will open a door to Apokolips and another invasion. No matter bad I am, I don't wish to see my planet destroyed." Mister Fox explained, "The second path is safer and more beneficial."

"What is this path, and how is it more beneficial?" Carnage asked, somewhat interested. Although he could care less if the planet is destroyed, he still lacks the ability to interstellar travel. This will cause him to be stranded in space with no planet or gravity holding him down.

Seeing Carnage interested, Mister Fox began explaining. "I doubt you will want to merge with the Mother Box, as you will lose your connection to the speed force and all the other perks your body have. If you let Luthor or someone else merge with it, you won't have perfect control over them. So you should-"

"Create an inorganic being like a robot using the Mother Box. The being will be completely loyal to me and have a complete connection to the Mother Box information." Carnage finished with an unimpressed look on his face. "I have thought of that but without knowing what is inside, how could you possibly know what to create."

With a smirk, Mister Fox said, "Let's just say I have my ways. Tomorrow, I will send you the blueprint and we will begin." After that, the screen went black.

Luthor looked over to Carnage, confusion visible on his face. "Why not track him down and bring him in."

"I tried." Carnage mumbled, still staring at the computer.

"When?" Luthor asked, even more confused.

"I am fast enough to be at 4 places at once and have been trying to hack into his computer since he hacked into mine." Carnage explained, looking over to the Mother Box. "As long as he helps us with what we need."

*Booom!*

Suddenly, Carnage felt something was wrong. With a red flash, he appeared in another of his secret laboratory, which was now destroyed. The rows of five biological chambers were missing all their specimens.

"Shit." Carnage muttered, seeing the biological chamber destroyed. "The soundproof wall of the Mother Box research room is a problem."

"That's the name you give the room?" C-1 asked, walking beside Carnage, her phone in her hand.

"Yes. Got a problem?" Carnage asked, looking towards C-1.

"No." C-1 shrugged, looking over to the chamber. "So what was in there?"

"C-1.1 to C-1.5." Carnage replied, wondering how they managed to break free. This chamber can withstand the full force of C-1, after all.

"They are a superior version of me, I guess," C-1 asked, looking towards the confused Carnage.

"No. They are an inferior version of you but superior to the TS series. After all, I used your DNA and not mine." Carnage corrected, still wondering how they escaped. Using his speed, he quickly went through all the data the computer collected, seeing the problem. With a frown, he mumbled, "Mister Fox. He is starting to get ahead of himself.

"C-1, tell Cheetah to take care of the one in Europe. You, take care of the one in Australia. Superman will take care of the one in Metropolis, which I will then retrieve. The one in Gotham should be taken care of by Flash or Batman, which I will also retrieve. As for the one in China..." Carnage paused, "Will be taken care of whatever hero is there."

Tilting her head, C-1 asked, "How did they get so far away without no speed."

Carnage pointed at a platform at the very back of the room, multiple wires connected to it. "A prototype teleporter. It isn't perfect yet, so it teleports you randomly when you activate it."

Carnage grabbed C-1 by her shoulder, disappearing with a red streak. Just then, Luthor walked into the room, a smile on his face.
