Chapter 83

Going back to his some in the south pole, Carnage immediately went into his research for perfect memories. He just came back from meeting Luthur, who agreed to join the Injustice League. He agreed to meet up in a week and not wanting to waste time, Carnage immediately went into studying the mind. He has never dug deeply into the mechanics of the mind and doesn't want to use himself as an experiment, fearing removing his own memories with no chance of gaining it back even with his godlike regeneration.

The problem he has is the cold, seeing as he was in the south pole. He and C-1 could handle it due to their Kree bloodline but he doubts any human will be able to handle it for too long. Giving some small thought, Carnage decided it was best to do two experiments at once. One is the creation of lesser Kree, which are those born of C-1 blood, and if it succeeds, use them for the brain experiment.

He always wondered if the blood of C-1 could create other Kree and this is a perfect chance. Killing two birds with one stone you might say. Deciding, he zoomed to the part of the mountain designed as C-1's living quarter. The mountain they were staying in was quite big, almost the same size as Mouth Kilimanjaro from Africa, giving Carnage an immense amount of space to play with so giving C-1 a living quarter as big as a small house, wasn't a problem. Though it was nothing like a living quarter, with only a bed and ten thick novels to keep her company.

"I will be taking one of your arms." Carnage said, walking up to C-1 who was sitting crossed-legged on her king-size bed with black blankets and reading a book in front of her.

Outreaching her right arm, which was the closest to Carnage, he went over and severed it with his vibrating arm. C-1 didn't flinch from this and the arm quickly regenerated. Going back to his lab, which is an open area in the mountain, bigger than his old mansion and filled with all kinds of science stuff he stole, Carnage dropped the arm on a table and disappeared with a red streak, coming back soon after and dropping a light-skinned unconscious male human on the table.

Injecting a little of C-1 blood into the man, Carnage watched with his x-ray and telescopic vision as C-1 cells quickly consumed the man cells, reproducing faster than cancer cells, slowly replacing them with hers. The man kept shivering and in less than a minute, all his cell was replaced. The man quickly sat up, looking around fearfully.

"Where am I? Who the fuck are you?" The man yelled, looking at Carnage.

"Well, that was easy." Carnage said, surprised that it would be so easy. He thought he would have to go through creating a drug to make the transformation easier. "Saves me a lot of trouble I guess."

Not paying no attention to him, Carnage kept inspecting the cells within his body and the one in C-1 served arm. They were vastly different. Even without the brain to command them anymore, C-1 right arm cells were still surviving, and just by looking at the man, he can tell that he is way weaker.

"Who are you!!!?" The man shouted, grabbing the collar of Carnage's polo shirt. "Why am I in a lab!? Who..."

Casually moving his hand, pulling out the arm of the man, causing him to scream and fall on the floor, squirming around in pain. He blacked out from the pain before regaining conciseness soon after still screaming. Carnage watched from his standing position as the arm slowly healed, taking more than 3 minute for it to fully regenerate.

"So bad." Carnage said, shaking his head. "He is an inferior Kree after all. Though I don't know if he has the other passive of the Kree in which we grow stronger the older we are, so I will have to wait someday. For now, time to create more inferior Kree and use them as test subjects."

Putting test subject 1 in a deep sleep using a drug that can even put a true Kree in sleep for about three seconds, Carnage went on to create more inferior Krees. Though, after creating multiple of them, he made a discovery. Some of them become brainless puppets, only listening to his or C-1 commands. 9 out of 10 comes out like that and he already knows the problem. Since the C-1 cells contaminate the bodies of these humans and replace all of them when it is time to contaminate the brain there is a 90% chance of overriding it and turning them into a puppet. Though Carnage can create a drug that will make that chance go down to 0%, he didn't care if they turn mindless, seeing it as more goons for him and the Injustice League.

In the next weeks, the perfect Memory plan went well. He was able to make test subject one remember all his memories since he was in the womb till now. His brain also developed and gained the ability to store memories . Whether he succeeded in making the brain able to store more information for eternity and not lose any of them, he doesn't know but the progress is good enough to make him conduct the information on his brain.

Unlike before where he had to create a time mirage, he simply created multiple arms and outstretched his eyes above his head, making it look like he is doing an experiment on a different brain than his. The experiment was a success, he remembered everything in absolute detail, his original father, his mother, the first family he killed, everything.

"That went well." Carnage said, holding his head which was ringing, his brain morphing and arranging itself. "I wonder how I keep my memory when regenerating from a body part like a finger. That still comes as a mystery to me. Now, this is over, I should bring the three here to have our first official meeting."
