Cassis walked into his room after a long day of training with his parents and immediately went to shower. It has been three months since he awakened his Magic Circuits, and he has been training in magic since then. Due to having the Barthomeloi family blood, he was born with their powerful Blue Blood Noble Magic Circuits and their attribute of Almighty. Coupled with his 99 natural Magic Circuits, he was even said to surpass Barthomeloi Lorelei in the future.
He quickly absorbed all their teachings, causing him to think that his inability to learn magic from Faust was because of his way of teaching. The main thing he learned is Jewel Magecraft from Citlalmina and Reinforcement and Gradation Air from Esteban.
What made him love this body was his Mystic Eyes, the Mystic Eyes of Lord. With these eyes, regardless of speed or power, he can evade any attack while simultaneously countering his attacker. These eyes also give him the ability to replicate any move and technique he lays his eyes upon, be it magical attacks, prana attacks, other mystic eyes, or mystic code. But this comes with a price. Continuous copying would cause his eyes to start overheating, and if he chooses to continue, he runs at the risk of becoming blind (bleeding through his nose, eyes, and ears in the process), making him incapable of using Eyes of the lord.
After hearing this, he tested it out by fighting Esteban, and to their surprise, he won. He evaded all attacks, copied magecraft he didn't even know existed, and did some unthinkable maneuverability he had never done, even with his old body. But with his win came an intense pain in his muscles. Due to the eyes forcing his body way beyond its limit to evade all attacks, he tore most of his mussels, fractured his legs, and almost broke his back.
This brought up the idea of staying in this body and using it to get strong. If he does, it will be similar to speedrunning a game. He will get stronger faster and have a better foundation and overall, he will be better than when he gets to his old power level. With these eyes, fighting people league stronger than him will not be a problem. The idea isn't yet set in stone, but it is still an idea.
After finishing taking his shower, he changed into a white shirt, black pants, and put on a lab coat. Cracking his neck, he walked up to his closet, opened the door, and walked in. The closet was big enough for a low-rank family to live in, so he separated it. The front part was filled with clothes, and the back, he turned it into his new experimental lab. Walking through the rows of clothes, he appeared in a small lab, with an experimental table with a gagged woman strapped in it, multiple drawers, glass bottles holding organs, and a surgical light.
In these three months, he has begun another experiment, this one focusing on injection to change one race instead of operation. He couldn't live the house to adopt people, so he sent some guards out to do it, paying them 1 million for every human he brought back without getting caught. Words quickly spread around the mansion to the point everyone, except his parents, knew. In total, he has wasted 91 bodies, with his experiment nearing its completion.
"Rejoice, for you will be the one who will bring about the second coming of Impulse." Cassis laughed, looking at the fear in her eyes. "But fear not, I will only be needing all your stem cells."
Hearing this, the woman's eyes widened as she began to struggle against the straps. Cassis took an injection and stabbed it in her arm, putting her to sleep. He then turned the surgical light to the woman and began his experiment.
Not caring for the end result of the woman's body, managed to collect enough stem cells for his experiment completion, leaving her dead body on the table.
He then mixed the stem cell with a black substance, causing it to bubble. Smiling at this, he went to a drawer and brought out ten syringes. These were to make sure his body accepted the substance without fighting it off.
He injected all ten syringes before drinking the jug filled with black substances. When he finished drinking the jug, his body went numb as he dropped to the ground, trying his best to hold back his scream. Every cell in his body was being devoured by the black substance before they replicate and take their place.
Unable to hold back anymore, he let out an ear-piercing scream as his skin and muscles kept morphing and changing. He trashed around on the ground as fangs forced themselves out of his jaw, pushing out the old teeth, his silver hair grew to his shoulder, black fingernails grew from his hands, and his skin grew pale.
'This isn't supposed to happen! My experiment was perfect. What went wrong!?' Cassis thought, holding his chest. 'Fuck. What didn't I consider!?'
A loud bang came from the closet of his room as Esteban ran in, going through the rows of clothes and arriving at his room. He looked at the dead woman on the experiment table, split in half down the middle with all her organs hanging out. The strange thing was, there was barely any blood dripping from her body.
Ignoring her, he looked towards his son, who was holding his chest, screaming in pain. "What have you done?" He muttered, looking at the fangs on his son's mouth.

Cassis opened his eyes, finding himself moving through a dark tunnel. Looking around, he found Esteban carrying him princess carry style while running down a tunnel. Citlalmina ran in front of them while holding her gown.
"You are finally up," Esteban said, looking down at him.
"Uh-huh." Cassis casually responded as his father put him down. "What are we running from?" He asked, running behind them. 'And why do I feel taller?' He added silently.
"You stupid plan to get stronger will get us killed. Why did you do such a horrible experiment on yourself? No, how did you know about that experiment!?" Citlalmina shouted, turning to him. "You turned yourself into a Dead Apostle, and now, you will be hunted by the church. And not just any member of the church but Barthomeloi Lorelei. She already promised to kill us all, and with this." She trailed off, letting it sink in.
Cassis didn't know how strong this Barthomeloi Lorelei is, but he knew he was now stronger than before. He defeated an experienced mage despite only having a weak human body. Having a 'Dead Apostle's body', he expects Lorelei to be no match for him. After all, the transformation did increase his height, strength, and senses to a superhuman level.
'But, this seems more like a body of a Kree than whatever a Dead Apostle is. Did I go wrong in some part in my experiment? No, I didn't make no mistake. Something else interfered with the experiment...' He thought for a while, before frowning. 'Mana--'
"Don't think you can defeat her just because of your Mystic Eyes." Esteban said, knowing what he was thinking. "And you are lucky you didn't lose it due to your transformation."
"I wasn't going to lose it. I am not going to lose anything I don't want to lose." Cassis confidently said, causing his two parents to look at him.
"Sometimes, I think you aren't my son. And It is more apparent now." Citlalmina said, turning around.
'Because I am not your son.' Cassis thought, just as the path opens into a cavern.
The cavern is about as big as the school ground, too dark to make out the ceiling, but it must be about ten meters high. Across the cave was a woman, watching them with absolute hostility. The only one they have to go through to escape.
"------Lorelei." Citlalmina let out, stepping back.
"Don't utter my name." She said in a low, threatening voice. "Not only did you betrayal the Barthomeloi name, but also tried to hide a Dead Apostle. You are a disgrace."
"But he isn't---"
"I can smell his rotten blood from here." Lorelei cut in, looking towards Cassis, who was touching his body with a stupid grin on his face. "So you are the Dead Apostle I was informed about?"
"And you are Lorelei?" Cassis replied, scanning her. She is a beautiful woman in her late twenties, standing 5'9" with a riding crop whip on her hip. "That whip is a stupid idea for a weapon. Take it from me you need a different weapon."
While he was inspecting her, she was doing the same to him. He is a rather tall, handsome man in his mid-twenties, standing at 185 cm, with pale-white skin, eyes that constantly changes colors, long white hair that reaches his knees, and a slim, muscular build. He wore a white long-sleeve button-up shirt, left unbuttoned, exposing his toned abdomen mussels. He also wore black pants and black dress shoes.
"What name do you go by, Apostle?" She asked, looking at the wristwatch she was wearing.
"They call me Cassis Barthomeloi Zelretch, but my real name is Impulse." Cassis said, taking back his old Alias, Impulse. He felt that Impulse fit him better than the name Cassis.
Citlalmina and Esteban's eyes widen as they step back from Impulse, the boy they thought was their son. They knew what this meant, "You are a reincarnated Dead Apostle?"
"Not a Dead Apostle." Cassis said, shaking his hand and folding his arm across his chest. He noticed their reaction, so he wanted to inflict more fear in them. Maybe this woman blocking his path will retreat. He doesn't wish to fight right now. He just could say he is a Kree, but they wouldn't know what that is, so it is better to sticking with the race they knew. "Something… Stronger."
"A Dead Apostle Ancestors?" Citlalmina gulped, with Esteban gathering up his magic.
"Yes." Impulse nodded. He considered saying something more powerful but decided against it. There might be nothing more powerful, and he doesn't want to risk it.
"What a bore." Lorelei muttered, looking up from her watch. "The red moon is out. Let's get this over with."
