In his human form, Impulse floated above a planet red planet, 9 times wider than Earth. If Earth were the size of a nickel, this planet would be about as big as a volleyball. The planet had three continents that would form a triangle when put together, with the ocean water being red instead of blue. No star was light years close to the planet as it floated through space aimlessly.
It has been one month since Impulse went through his second official evolution, and he has been checking the limit of his powers and abilities. He first tested out if his weakness to fire was gone. Although his perfect awareness of his body told him yes, it never hurt to double-check. He threw himself inside the star. Of course, he didn't forget to leave a piece of skin inside Traveler, which didn't follow him inside the star.
He did not burn or feel any discomfort, for that matter. It was as if he was floating within the fear and despair of others. It was pure bliss. Even though he evolved after eating billions of Kryptonians, he did not inherit their ability to use solar radiation to power themselves like batteries. According to Xerah, his body viewed the ability as useless and focused on perfecting his physical abilities. His self supremacy was the result of this. This is the name he gave the ability to have perfect awareness and control over his body. After evolving, he gained their heat vision, flight, but not their weakness to kryptonite because before eating them, he had gotten rid of them. Impulse considered it a positive development.
Telekinesis and energy absorption were two abilities he received that confused him. His telekinesis aura was green as opposed to Nile's, which was purple. Impede asked Xerah about the aliens he pushed into his body to revive him, and he told him they were green lanterns.
He never could assimilate inorganic things, which led him to believe his assimilation ability also evolved. He was planning on testing it out on the trident of Aquaman he has but decided against it. After all, that was the only magical tool he has.
He possessed strong telekinetic power. The fact he can move with his telekinesis was already proof since he has the mass of a planet. To test out the power of his telekinesis, he went to a planet with a similar mass to Earth that was home to primitive aliens. He was able to crush it to the size of a golf ball before it transformed into a black hole. Impulse almost got sucked into the black hole for being too close but managed to escape. The maximum speed he can achieve is now exceeding light speed.
The fact that the planet transformed into a black hole after being crushed that hard made him wonder if he would also turn into a black hole if he too transforms into the size of a golf ball. Scientifically it is possible, but he wasn't going to go out his way to test it out. That is saved for the day he wants to self-destruct.
His energy absorption allowed him to absorb energy into his body for a variety of purposes. After absorbing some of a star's energy, he managed to expel them as a concentrated blast. He was able able to immediately expel all of his stored solar energy in one gigantic burst of explosive force. Since he can absorb infinite amounts of energy, attacks that rely on energy are irrelevant now.
The most notable improvement is all his physical abilities. With a punch, he managed to shatter a planet. His speed has drastically increased, allowing him to walk at light speed. He can shrug off moving through a star, even grabbing on to its core. But he isn't too sure he can survive a star explosion or implosion. If he was ranked as a planet buster before, he is now a solar system buster. This is a huge jump in his power.
In this month he has spent in space, he also managed to create a planet. Due to his self supremacy ability, he was able to create an orb of flesh and blood on his palm, before growing it to the size of Earth's core. Despite its size, its gravitational pull was way more than that of the Earth's core.
Planets are normally formed by gas and dust, colliding and sticking together, but with his immense telekinetic power and the orb gravitational pull, artificially forming a rocky planet was easy.
The planet was not at all fit to allow normal life, but aliens like himself or Kryptonians can live peacefully on it. Not to talk about the fact it was 9 times bigger than earth. To complete it, Impulse let a drop of blood fall on the planet. Due to still having perfect condition and control of the blood, he quickly made it reproduce, filling the planet with a red ocean.
He wasn't stupid enough to leave the blood of a lateral God laying around for anyone to see, so he used his control to kill and wipe out most traces of his genes, leaving the ocean red. He didn't remove all genes, because after a certain point he decided to stop for experiment purposes.
"Now, this is a planet." Impulse shouted into space, grinning down at the red planet. "I am a GOD!!!... At least to those lowly species."
A piece of the planet started breaking out so he quickly moved his finger, using telekinesis to bring it back together.
"Not as perfect as I thought it would be." Impulse mumbled, noticing the mass of the small 'core' isn't great enough to hold together a planet this big. The best it could normally do is hold together a planet 2 to three times that of earth. "Ageing the planet should allow it to bond together to form a real planet."
It was time for Impulse to use an ability he always wanted to use but couldn't find the time. Pointing his palm at the planet, a wave of black and white Speed Force energy engulfed the entire planet. With a thought, the planet immediately started aging around 380 million years every second. So in a year for him, about 12 billion years for the planet would have passed.
"And the narrative begins." Impulse said, watching the planet.
