Star Explorer
Clyde Harris, lived a pitifully mundane life. He worked a nine-to-five in a repetitive office job, dropped out of collage after the first year, and rarely went out of his apartment for anything expect work. There was one shining star in Clyde’s world though, Star Explorer. A game that went beyond any other, rebranding the gaming industry entirely. Clyde was obsessed with the franchise, when he wasn’t at work, he was doing something Star Explorer related. It became his life.
But after the 4th installment in the series Mino, the company that made Star Explorer started to lose popularity, and it all went down from there. A franchise that was once revered by many fell into the rearview. The games got stale for veterans, and were too confusing for newcomers. Add that to the insider drama in Mino and it all combusted. After the six installment in the franchise, Mino would never make another game.
But that was not the end of Star Explorer, just Mino. After trying to revisit Star Explorer 2 Clyde would come to find that the world had much more than he bargained for, and that the stars weren’t the limit.
