Suddenly all the woman around Primis drew out their weapon and pointed at the perpetrator.

???: Heih!!

The person let out a terrifying yelp and raised his hands, showing it had no intention of harming them.

Turing his head, Primis looked at the person.

He was a middle-aged man with black hair and brown eyes with facial hair on his chin. He was wearing black clothes which one wore at someone's funeral.

???: Wh-Who are you people?

Keqing: That's something we should ask? Who are you? Speak or be prepared to have a talk in my office.

???: Eeeh!!!! Please don't hurt me!

Keqing: Then speak who you are?

???: My name is M-M-Meng. I am an undertaker at the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor.

Ganyu: Wangsheng Funeral Parlor. I know about them. They are the people who perform funeral rites for the dead so that their soul can pass on to the other side in peace.

Meng: Y-Yes. Yes. That's who we are.

The man hurriedly nodded his head confirming Ganyu's words.

Meng: Now that I have introduced myself, don't you think it's you guys turn now.

Keqing: You're right. I am Keq----

Primis: There is no need to waste any more time here. Let's continue on our way.

Interrupting Keqing, Primis turned and walked away.

Keqing could only looked at his back with wary smile while others also lowered their weapon and followed.

Keqing: Anyway, this place is not good for someone like you to be here. So, you better leave.

Meng: Actually I-I am here for a funeral. Hence, I can't leave before completing it.

As Keqing looked at him pensively, the man got scared and took some steps back.

Meng: I don't mean to offend. There is no need for any ill will between us!

The Yuheng of the Liyue Qixing couldn't help but let out a deep sigh facing such a scaredy-cat.

Keqing: Alright. Stop freaking out and stand still. Relax.

Meng: "Relax"!? Yes, whatever you say! Please, stay your hand! Don't come any closer! I mean no harm! Don't! Don't touch me!!

With that he ran away fear.

As Keqing looked at his disappearing back in dumbfounded expression, he heard Primis behind.

Primis: As expected from a cat-girl. She can scare a poor man just my hissing.

Keqing: Wha---Who are you calling cat!?

Instead of answering, Primis looked at her 'cat' ears.

Keqing: They are not ears! This is a hairstyle!

Primis: Yeah, right. I believe you.

Even though he said it neutrally, Keqing sensed some sarcasm in his words. This made her grit her teeth in frustration.

Ignoring her gaze, Primis pat Ganyu's shoulder and moved past her.

Primis: Cocogoat and a Cat. Liyue Qixing really is filled with special people.

Hearing this Ganyu's faced turned as red as tomato. She then noticed other girls who were looking at her with confused expression while muttering 'Cocogoat' under their breath. With this she became so embarrassed that steam came out of her head.

Before long, they finally seemed to have reached their destination.

However, no matter where they looked, they can't see anything unusual. It's the same eerie atmosphere around.

Xiangling: Uh…Teacher are you sure we are in the right place.

Primis: Yes.

Xiangling: But I don't see anyone here.

Instead of answering, Primis lightly stomped his foot on the ground.

CRACK!!

Spiderweb like cracks appeared on the land before it broke.

BANG!!!

The three girls fell in the deep hole below. Primis, Makoto, and Ei were standing at the edge while looking at them falling into darkness.

 He also grabbed Ganyu so that she won't join them.

「 Primis: The rest is up to you. Let's hope you can survive this. 」

With this, he sat there and closed his eyes in mediation.

The twin electro archons stood behind him in silence while looking at the abyss below. Their eyes could easily see what was going on down below.

Only Ganyu was showing a dumbfounded expression as she was still shocked at what just transpired.

---Underground---

By now, the three girls had been falling down for a quite some time.

In case it was someone else then that person would have started panicking since at this point, he or she could only fall to their death.

Yet, none of the girls showed such expression. As a vision holder, they were of course stronger than normal people.

On the contrary, they would have already thought of a way to stop their fall in case they didn't hear Primis thoughts.

Hence, currently they were just waiting to reach the ground soon.

A few seconds later, they finally saw the end.

Next, they used their elemental power to slow down the speed of their fall and landed gently.

They saw the other broken rocks that had fell along with them.

As their eyes were looking at the surrounding, a strong smell assaulted their nostrils. This made them frowned as they all were fully familiar of this smell.

It was of blood.

Their eyes met and they nodded before started taking out their weapons.

Deciding a direction, they cautiously made their way towards it.

The smell kept on becoming stronger and they soon saw a light.

After making their way out, they reached a huge area and got horrified after looking at the spectator in front.

Xiangling: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Keqing: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shenhe: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There were a colony of Man-Eaters here.

Many of which were swimming in the pool of blood while eating pieces of flesh which were placed on the plates that was floating on the blood.

They were initiating in the happy conversation while completely ignoring the other humans who were placed on the hooks around.

One-by-one drops of blood were leaking out from the bodies of these humans and was flowing into the pool.

There were also cages around. Inside, one can see many naked men, women, children, elderly. One thing that was common among them were their empty eyes. They had long given up all hope and had accepted their fate.

You can see Man-eaters r*ping women at the side while laughing. However, once they were done, instead of letting them go, they used their sharp claws to dug out their hearts, lungs, brains, liver, kidney, lungs and started feasting on them right there with an elated expression on their faces.

In the eyes of these Man-Eaters, the humans were just a mere livestock.

It was truly Heaven for these Man-Eaters and Hell for the humans.

Xiangling & Keqing: Grgh!!

Both girls started vomiting witnessing this. Even Shenhe was having hard time controlling herself from doing so.

None of them had witnessed anything such crude, cruel, and bizarre in their life.

Though they didn't get the chance to calm themselves as Shenhe sensed some danger and stabbed her polearm to the right without looking.

STAB!!

SPLURT!!

???: Guh!!

Turning her head, she saw her weapon had penetrated into the chest of one of Man-Eaters who planned to ambush them.

The woman's expression turned cold as her pulled back her polearm upward.

SHIN!!

THUCH!!

This severed the man-eater in two as his remains fell.

Xiangling and Keqing also collected themselves at this point and knew that their location had been exposed.

And just like they expected, other Man-Eaters also realized that an unexpected guest and arrived at their heaven.

They left whatever they were doing and soon surrounded the three girls.

Witnessing this, even Shenhe expression turned solemn.

The Man-Eaters were looking at the women with savage expression and were licking their lips as if looking at the delicacy.

Man-Eater 88: Before we ate you, why don't you tell us how you come here.

At this time, one of them opened their mouth and asked.

Nevertheless, the girl's had no intention of answering and held the handle of their weapons even more tightly.

Seeing their lack of response didn't anger any of these Man-Eaters.

This time, another one spoke.

Man-Eater 41: Well, it doesn't matter. Before eating you, I would love to spend some quality time with you. By the time I am done, all of your secrets will be revealed.

Keqing: Are you not worried that the soldiers of Liyue will be making their way here as we are talking?

Hearing this one of them snort and replied.

Man-Eater 13: Hmph. Like we will be afraid of some weak humans like you. Once they arrive, they will also become our meal.

Shenhe: What if Adepti or Geo Archon make his move?

As if she made a big joke, the Man-Eaters all started laughing.

Man-Eater 9: Hahahahahahahahahah. Do you really think we don't know that Adepti and Geo Archon no longer involved themselves in the matter of mortals? Even if you have the information, they won't bother showing themselves in front of you. Let alone taking part in it. So, what's the point?

Shenhe: ...….

The disciple of Cloud Retainer turned silent. If her master was not currently recuperating herself then she would have contacted here by now.

Getting impatient one of them spoke.

Man-Eater 57: What are we waiting for let's attack?

With this all of the Man-Eaters charged towards the three women who were standing back-to-back with each other. They knew that they must protect each other's back, otherwise, their chances of survival will drop drastically.

And hence the battle commenced.

Primis was in deep meditation with Makoto and Ei guarding him.

Ganyu, on the other hand walking back and forth in anxiousness. She was really worried about what was happening down below.

If not of Primis stopping her, she would have definitely jumped down by now in order to lend some hand.

Finally, she couldn't help herself but walked over to Primis.

Ganyu: M-My Lord, please let me accompany them. I promise that the only thing I will do is to heal their injuries and won't take part in any fighting.

Hearing this, Primis opened his eyes and glanced at her.

Primis: No need.

Ganyu: Why!?

Primis: Because only under pressure can one breakthrough their limit and reached higher level.

Ganyu: I understand that. But...…... most people can't handle such pressure and meet their end.

Primis: True.

Saying Primis looked down as the entire battle of visible in front of his eyes.

Primis: But do you think those three will break?

Ganyu: That's...…

The Half-Adeptus became silent. Since she had met with Keqing before, she knew that Keqing was not the one to break easily. But she was not certain about Xiangling and Shenhe.

In case of Shenhe, she had only heard about her from Cloud Retainer. As for Xiangling, she didn't know her much.

Seeing that she was still concerned, Primis let out a sigh.

Ganyu: Eh?

Primis: Come here.

Ganyu: ...….

Knowing she can't refuse him, the half-adeptus approached Primis who grabbed her little hand and pulled her on his lap.

The girl started blushing since she had never expected this. As her mind was going through various things, Primis put his hand on her head and started patting her gently. His hand also brushed off her horns occasionally.

Yet, instead of getting embarrassed, Ganyu felt that her head become lighter as all the worries and concern disappeared with a puff.

Primis: Don't underestimate them. You will know why soon.

Ganyu: ...…Mn.

Nodding gently, she lowered her head. Though she was more leaning towards the hand who was patting her head.

「 Primis: Still, to put your mind in ease, I guess I will let someone else to go down and be of their assistance. 」

Saying Primis looked back from the corner of his eyes.

Meng: Director! Director! They are the ghosts were trying to kill.

At this time, the man who was scared away by Keqing returned. And this time, he was accompanied by someone.

???: Oh?

The person looked at Primis and others and chuckled.

???: Ha, don't get too excited. They will be our future clients, not some ghosts.
