70: Nature's curse

My happiness knew no limits. Xerek came back to life, erasing the stain of murder from my soul. The balance of the world was restored and the people were saved. 

Ywain threw a feast at the tavern to celebrate Xerek's return. I took my time getting ready. Rhon selected a snow-white long-necked robe with a silver belt and a blue scarf. 

I refused to match my outfit with jewelry. For the first time, I dressed for me, the Saint always rejected the idea of dressing up without jewelry. She wasn't here and I wasn't going to let her dictate how I live my life. 

I confirmed my look in front of the mirror. Pleased with my appearance, I made a move to go down and join everyone at the feast. 

All the stress of the world ending and my hands covered with the blood of Zephirin's friend took a toll on my body. I was hungry and exhausted both emotionally and physically.
