Chapter 4: After 3 Years

{Kiyoshi's POV}

Lying on the shore of the Land of Waves, I found myself reminiscing about the past three years of training with my parents. The fruits of our efforts were evident—I had grown significantly stronger physically, and my chakra reserves had surpassed those of kids my age.

I learned so much during those three years. I initially thought that performing ninjutsu would be easy, but I quickly realized that it required precise chakra control. And my mom, she's a beast at Taijutsu, inheriting her skills from the Kaguya Clan. Their battle-hungry and savage nature is in stark contrast to her usual self, but when we train in Taijutsu, she can switch into a savage mode that is truly intimidating.

Overall, it has been an incredible journey, but I know I still have a long way to go to become the greatest Shinobi to ever exist.

This world, which used to be just a manga and anime, has now become my reality. Anytime, anywhere, I could face death, and I don't want to experience that feeling again. There are still many villains out there. Though the Akatsuki hasn't been formed yet, I want to prevent its formation. Madara is still alive at this point, even if he's an old man now, he still poses a threat to everyone. But Madara is not the only one to be feared; there's also Isshiki Otsutsuki, who secretly roams this world in search of a suitable vessel.

"Life is good when there is peace, but this peace won't last long as the Third Shinobi World War is about to start. I need to become even stronger before it begins so that I can protect Mom and Dad," I contemplated, considering my next steps.

The sound of birds chirping and the waves crashing against the shore were the only things that could be heard. Suddenly, a group of kids called out to me. "Hey Kiyoshi, let's play!" one of them shouted. "Alright, I'll play with you guys for now since I've got nothing else to do," I replied as I walked towards them. "Tsk... you always act like an adult," another kid remarked. I rolled my eyes and said, "Whatever."

The scene then shifted to Kiyoshi's household, where Kiyoshi's parents, Bashira and Kimiko, were having a conversation.

"Bashira, I think my clan has found me, and they're treating me like a traitor now since I left the village," Kimiko said with a worried expression.

"Should we leave this place?" Bashira asked, concern evident in his voice. "No, even if we change locations, they would always find us," Kimiko replied nervously.

"That's true, I have a plan. We should let Chiharu-obachan adopt Kiyoshi and have them move to Konohagakure. I'm sure Kiyoshi would be safe there," Bashira suggested.

"I would miss our son," Kimiko said, a hint of sadness in her voice.

"It's inevitable. We can't protect ourselves from the Kaguya Clan, let alone Kiyoshi. This is the only way we can ensure our son's safety," Bashira said as he hugged Kimiko.

"I'm home, Mom, Dad!" my voice from the front door interrupted their conversation.

"Welcome home, Kiyoshi," both Bashira and Kimiko said in unison.

"Why are you two hugging each other? Sorry if I interrupted, I'll go out and wait for my sibling," Kiyoshi jokingly said as he started to walk out. But suddenly, his mom smacked his head.

"What do you mean, sibling? Where did you learn that?" Kimiko retorted, her voice cold.

"Ah, from Dad," Kiyoshi innocently replied while clutching his head, and pointing his finger at Bashira.

"Why are you involving me?" Bashira said nervously.

"BA-SHI-RA!" Kimiko shouted.

"Wait, let me explain. Aaarghh!" Bashira shouted as he got punched in the gut by Kimiko

"This scene made my day perfect. I hope things always stay like this," Kiyoshi thought as the sunset began.
