2 The early days.

The progress over the next three weeks was noticeable... only for me though.

I basically left my two teammates in the dust. They couldn't progress as fast as I could so I had to hold back most of the time. Apparently, Samui was a good teacher, and Kishimoto liked to nerf people.

Samui was level 79, and in three years she should be in the hundreds and most likely will be. I still couldn't touch her. None of us could.

The title I gained in the second week gave me a 25% Exp gain while under Kumo jurisdiction.

"This is soo good!"

Snapping back to reality, I look to Karui who just shouted that out, She was eating pizza that I made.

The whole team was at my apartment after an annoying D-Rank mission that had them babysit three brats. They looked so innocent before their parents left... I would have stabbed them if not for Gamer's mind keeping me calm.

"Yeah, did you come up with this?"

Omoi asked while biting down on his own slice.

"Yeah, I just thought that if all the ingredients were well separated, how would they taste together."

I just shrugged, Of course, I would take the credit, if I get bored of being a ninja I could start a bakery.

"How's your Kenjutsu coming along?"

Shrugging at Karui's question, I place down my own slice and reach into the openings on my sides, bringing out a concealed spike like sword.

Not unlike ones the eight tailed jinchuriki owned.

I had two of them on each leg, but couldn't add a third, the outline was visible, so he had four in total.

What did she mean go faster? I was going at my top speed already. It's not like I can boost my speed permanently... Oh wait, I can, but that would be too suspicious.

Karui came closer, her sword at the ready and tried to slash our teacher from behind but ultimately failed when she used Replacement.

She tilted her head to the side, avoiding what would have been a killing blow.

Since the blade is too far to pick up and my captain was between me and it, I reached down and took out my spare blade, ready to dash in again.

"Enough, take a break."

Using my right leg to stop the sprint before it even began, I rose an eyebrow. Why stop the match now?

Looks like my unasked question was expressed by my face when Samui pointed at my teammates.

Looking back, they were... Exhausted? I looked up at the sun, only to see that we had been fighting for more than an hour already.

"You got enough stamina to go on for longer but take a break, your muscles need rest."

Nodding, I walked over to the other two members of my team and sat down on top of a rock with his feet dangling a few feet off the ground while Omoi and Karui sat down on the ground.

"Man, Your stamina is no joke..."

Karui huffed out with Omoi nodding, I just rose an eyebrow, they had fought for an hour, and the fact that they lasted for that long was impressive in its own right.

Looking down at my hands I started remembering that the chidori Handseals were... being a fan of Kakashi sure helped me remember them when I was a kid...

If I remembered correctly, those were the handseals, Initially, I only remembered the gestures until I learned what they were actually called but no one had to know that.

Going through the handseals in the correct order, I felt my chakra travel to my right hand and lightning sparked on my palm. At that moment I felt what lightning chakra felt like.

Focusing back on the outside world, I noticed Karui looking at Me strangely.

The girl just shrugged before closing her eyes and leaning back on the rock.

Recreate The famous Chidori, the jutsu created by Kakashi Hatake in the third Shinobi war.

Well, now I have to do that, Accepting it with a thought, I just laid back on the rock and started concentrating on my hand, Trying to get lightning to crackle on it.

I spend the next thirty minutes on it before we were called to continue training...

For the next few days, I was trying to recreate the Chidori with Little success, Nothing but light sparks... So the situation here.

"Can you teach me Lightning nature transformation?"

Samui looked at me for a moment...

"No."

She looked me up and down and blinked, that was all the reaction she showed, like ever.

"... It's still too early."

Shrugging, I turned around and started walking off towards the library. The genin were still held back sometimes when the instructors didn't think that they were ready. Stupid if you ask me.

After a five minute walk, I reached the Shinobi Library and walked inside without a second of hesitation.

"Hello, Do you uh, have anything on chakra natures?"

The woman looked up at me for a moment and said in an uninterested tone.

"They are in the chunin section but Genin are not allowed to step over the threshold..."

Step over huh?...

Smiling sincerely at the woman, he turned to walk towards the Genin Section, he decided to pick up some scrolls.

Ignoring that for now, I walked up to the threshold of the chunin section... and promptly jumped up, using chakra to stick myself to the roof and walked forward...

Grabbing the lightning Nature Transformation scroll I went back the same way I came in, sat down at a table snd started copying the scrolls.

When I finished copying the Lightning wave jutsu, I rolled it up and waited for a bit until the same notification appeared about learning the skill, nodding in satisfaction, I started copying the nature transformation.

Returning the scrolls to their places, I walked out of the Building waving at the highly amused Librarian.

The walk to my house was uneventful and as soon as I walked inside, I quickly pressed accept for learning both skills.

I grinned as Lightning sparkled on my hand, Samui would probably be annoyed but I couldn't unlearn something that was learned...

Covering my right hand with a layer of chakra, I started transforming it into lightning without using any handseals.

"Ow."

Shaking my hand to numb the pain, I released a sigh, at least I managed to change the nature.

The whole night of grinding got me seventeen levels, not bad for six hours of training if you ask me.

I could keep up the Chidori for a few seconds but something tells me that I need my nature transformation on a higher level to complete the mission.
