It was an odd, but surprisingly nice feeling to have to mainly rely on just himself for the coming quest as he marched outside of the city walls, entering the vast plains of luscious grass and tall, emerald trees.
Stopping for a moment after leaving town, he found himself fairly lost within the wild outskirts, as it was nothing but the same scenery of grassy hills, dense gatherings of trees, and overgrown, dirt paths.
"Greetings, Master!"
"Gah–"
He nearly jumped out of his skin, looking over as the golden-haired maid had forcibly summoned herself without any warning.
"Don't do that, Laura…" He sighed out, "Almost used a spell on instinct.
"My apologies, Master," Laura smiled cheekily, seeming as though she enjoyed his reaction.
"Did you need something?"
