Chapter 18: A Fun Day Out

Coming straight from the pan, the warm, fluffy pancake sat on Loni's plate. Accompanied with some syrup and fruit on top. Besides Loni's plate, Reo plate was filled with a breakfast bagel sandwich, with bacon on the side.

"This is the best pancakes I've ever had!" Loni smiled warmly.

"Messy girl." Reo gently wiped the syrup off Loni's mouth.

"Can I try yours?" Loni eyes glimmered.

"Be my guest."

Loni picked up the sizzling breakfast and took a petite bite out of it.

"That's good too!" Loni exclaimed with joy.

Reo and Loni both washed the dishes after.

"Hey, you missed a spot." Reo pointed out.

"Where?"

"Here." Reo put a bubble of soap on Loni.

"Hey!" Loni giggled.

After hours and hours, Loni grew bored in the house. She was suspended from going outside by herself. And for hours, Reo been in his office finishing some finance work. Quietly knocking, Loni knocked then went inside.

"Are you almost done?" Loni whined.

"Almost."

"Come on then!" Loni grabbed Reo's arm and walked out the door.

Outside, Loni and Reo walked a few blocks to see a dazzling fair. Sounds of laughter and carnival food made Loni smile. After, going on countless rides of roller coasters, and many refills of milkshakes.

"That was the most fun I had today." Reo admitted.

"I know right!" Loni turned on the tv.

"But you know what could be more fun?"

"What?" Loni still being distracted.

"This." Reo immediately grabbed Loni's hand and bought her to his room.

"What are you doing Reo?! I wanted to watch SpongeBob." Loni made a pouting face.

"Shh, just relax." Reo tied a blindfold around Loni's eyes.

"What are you doing Reo?"

"You'll see." Reo smirked with trouble.
