My extincted birds.

Opening the door which was once invincible, Legolas took in the dilemma of the room.

There were various books of different origins laying on the wooden shelf.

Legolas stood for a bit, turning his head he couldn't help the strange feeling that crept into his skin. On top of a table on his left there were bottles of different sizes, and colors, his eyes picked on one which was blue in color it seemed to sparkle from time to time, if you don't look closely you wouldn't pick on it the activity.

Legolas was absorbed in the uniqueness of the element, the other bottles held unusual feelings but this specific bottle stood exceptional.

Coming down the stairs Legolas unhurriedly made his way further into the room, the shelves which were glass covered held a few other bottles but these ones were transparent, he had a stupid thought that it was water, but why would water be hidden in the shelves.

It was scarcely believable, if he was right this should be a room of potions, but who did the room belong to and why was it so hidden in such a dark corner?

Most importantly did his master or anyone know about it?

Walking further and passing a few more potions and racks of books he walked into another room unknowingly and this sight alone gave up his gust.

In the meeting room, Allison scanned the table while listening to what her workers said.

Nodding in understanding at their words and suggestions, her assistant took down notes for her.

In between the meeting, Allison felt a sudden ripple in her mind and she for some reason didn't feel settled for a while.

She had no connection with anyone or any mind linkage.......unless.

She gulped down in thought.

The potion room. It would be unreasonable to interrupt the meeting like that as it was very important, it was a brief explanation of the progress of work in the company, so Allison decided to wait a few more minutes before departing from the conference room.

" The mining in the pixie lands have been very resourceful, I never knew that the spilled land held so many substances".

An older man stated while he chuckled afterward causing some other people to also nod in coalition.

Allison surveyed the table a few more seconds, seeing that the vital things had already been said she concluded.

"I think what Mr. Stafford said is right".

She said gaining all the attention on the table.

She smirked looking at her hands she proceeded.

" Duke dimir obviously has his reason for personally overseeing the work carried out last month, yes we all know the pixie land is a spilled land of curses, most people fear to live there let alone spend two months mining their lands, we're just gratified we haven't suffered any potential loses"

She paused for a while and gave it a reasonable thought.

She looked up at her subordinates and proceeded.

"And with this I would like to say for those who have worked on that land for the past few months, bringing back extraordinary elements....". She paused, while she titled her head to the side.

" Sevyn" She called turning in his direction.

"Yes, miss". Allison said with a smile on her pretty face.

" Give them a bonus on their salary and a reward for the overseer"

"Yes boss". Sevyn said in utter earnestness.

" Meeting dismissed".

Announced Allison as she stood from her seat with refinement, she nodded her head, walking towards the door she held onto the doorknob, swiveling, she looked once at her workers, she grinned causing them all to return the favor. She made her way out of the building.

Approaching her carriage she heard a voice call out to her.

"Boss!!!, boss". Allison frowned she turned to face where the voice was coming from only to see that it was sevyn.

He came closer panting for air like he had run a mile.

Allison raised her brows at his actions.

" It's just to run down the stairs sevyn not a marathon". She told him. It was a five-story building which was hardly seen in this time, but he had worked in the company for years now why on earth is he being ridiculous?

He kept breathing heavily, Allison fully turned to face him this time.

"When last did you exercise your old bones". Her words made sevyn chuckle narrowly.

Sevyn was a tall young man, he had a physique where he wasn't too skinny but just right.

Allison would have never guessed he didn't train his body energetically, what would he do if a war breaks out?

He finally recovered his breathing pace and said.

" I have been so busy with work I haven't exercised for a while now"

He said with a sweet smile plastered across his handsome face.

Sevyn was a very good-looking man most girls in the town would always sneak a peek at him when he was on an errand out on the street, and he was sent obviously by the one and only Allison Macbeth.

He could draw the attention of a few noble ladies. If allison wasn't allison, she would have admired him as well.

But she doesn't even admire herself so how would she admire someone else?

Or did she?

He gave her a file, which contained significant information from a Lord. She looked at the stamp on it.

It was from Duke Matthew from Thrustland. Allison nodded in perception. She would have asked further about the file but right now she needed to be in her house.

Legolas couldn't believe the sight in front of him. It was a pool. A pool of potions, if he was correct the blue-colored potion which he saw earlier on the table is definitely from here, but what the hell was the potion for, and why was it in such a large quantity?

It was like a pool of blue water which sparkled in harmonization.

It was a lovely sight. Legolas unknowingly felt a lot more relaxed than he was earlier. On his right, there were a few books on the table.

They looked like normal books which spoke about extincted things or mostly about mystery, but what Legolas didn't know is that they were spell books too.

He had the urge to open them as he slowly moved toward the table.

He came to stand in front of the table and looked down at a certain book.

"MY EXTINCTED BIRDS". That was the name boldly written in gold on the large volume of book. It was made out of gold which made him wonder why real gold was used just to identify a book.

Legolas had the impulse to look into the book, the word bird, didn't seem like an ordinary bird though.

He took up the book and held it in his hands. It weighed quite a lot, so he drooped it back on the desk, looking at his hands and his muscles, he felt betrayed.

Positioning his hand on the book cover, he felt a sudden sensation inside of him, almost like something wanted to come out of him. The sensation caused Legolas to immediately pull his hands away from the words inscribed on the old book.

He held onto the book and flipped it open. The image of a Phoenix was revealed, the elegance, its vibrant tail, the head as it swayed in arrogance and pride. He gasped.

" A Phoenix". Legolas held onto his chest, it was like his breath had been taken.

' Why does his master have this'.

Allison stepped down from her carriage, she had the urge to use her speed to get into the house but she can't risk exposing herself.

So she kept up the pace, but she walked faster. The butler stood in front of the large doors of the entrance.

Bowing his head he greeted Allison where she didn't even spare him a glance and only nodded her head.

Belvedere was slightly shocked, his young miss always responds to his greetings even if she was in a hurry to get back home, but now she only nodded and didn't even spare him a glance.

' This Legolas is really lucky '. Thought belvedere to himself as he stared at his young miss who was making her way up the stairs.

Not knowing that Allison was surging in Legolas was still staring at the image of the Phoenix.

Allison walked in hast because she was scared that her secret would be exposed.

Exactly that was what she was feeling now. Fear.

Yes, she may have used her powers in public but she was restricted, so no one could certainly identify what precisely she was.

A blue Phoenix.
