My Darling from A Parallel Dimension

'Kaasandria Smith, Stylish Queen.' one of the plaque's word in Kassy's 7-foot bookshelves placed in one corner of her posh bedroom. Half of the shelf is filled with different sashed, ribbons, medals and trophies. Pictures of her in different gowns and swim attire are also included in the shelf. It is very obvious that the owner of this pink-motiff room is a pageant princess.

Kaasandra or Kassy for her family and friends is the middle child of Dr. Robertson Smith, an eye surgeon, and a former pageant titlist, Giovinna Colf. She has one doting older brother, Kennedy, who is now an Engineer in a big construction company and her younger sister, Khleomay, is a graduating nurse from the University of Pennsylvania

In general, Kassy can safely say that her family background, above average intelligence and pageant -ready aura made her life easy and fun.

Aside from her pageantry, she is also a former cheer captain and a former Treasurer of the Student Council in her alma matter. she is known as the well-rounder beauty queen and is a campus crush in her college days.

Kassy, 22, is busy doing her eye make-up. She has plenty of time to spare and she makes sure to be impeccable from head to toe before stepping outside her bedroom. She chooses to wear a black sleeveless and pencil cut dress and black stockings topped with a dark pink blazer, a pair of 3-inch pointed rose gold stiletos, a pair of pink pearl earrings and an old- rose colored shoulder bag.

A knock om the door slightly startled her while she puts on a lipstick. "Ready in 5 minutes" she said to the person outside her door.

"Just reminding you that we have a dinner tonight, Kass. Come home early." Her mom, Vinn, reminded her.

While doing a final check on her things, she replied "Got it 'ma. I'll make sure to come on time."

"Please do. Your brother's waiting at the dining table." Her mother ended before Kassy heard her retreating footsteps.

A few moments had passed as Kassy finishes her final touch on her self. She face the mirror, flash her 'go get it smile' and say her morning mantra out loud.

"You' re gorgeous, you are great, go now and dont be late!"

She wink on her reflection before walking towards the door to open it and go to the direction of their dining area.

"Kenn, can we head first to Starbucks , I need to buy a cake for Julian's kid. Amy will be in the office and will be mad big time if I don't fulfill my promise to her.-"

"Who is Amy?" Khleo cut her explanation as she enter the dining room. Their youngest sibling is wearing a scrub suit and a blue rubbershoes. Even though she is wearing an eyeglasses and unattractive clothes, Khleo, 21, is still very pretty with her small face, perky nose and laughing eyes.

"She's the daughter of my boss, the one I told you before who always sits beside me and either pester me if she is in a bad mood or be an angel if she is happy. I don't know why she took a liking of me though." Kass explains.

"Hey you two chitterchatters, are you ready to start your day or will you just gossip here?" Kennedy, or as everybody calls him, Kenn butted in on their talk. He is a 25 years old civil engineer and a project manager of J and J Construction, one of the leading construction firm in their country. A typical boy next door with a very cute smile and a masculine physique, Kenn is a cool but a protective big brother of Kass and Khleo.

"Tse" Khleo harrumped while Kass rolls her eyes upon hearing him. She interlocks her arms in Khleo's and pulls her towards the driveway, not minding Kenn who follows them outside.

"Khlo, your graduation is nearing, what do you want as a present,hmmm?" Kass talks as they get inside Kenn's Blue Ford Taurus. She always sits on the front passenger while Khleo prefers at the back with her bags and books on her side.

"Anything I guess. Umm--- wait, I want a new watch in black color, you know like a G-shock" Khlo eyes shine as she voices out her requested gift.

"Sure thang, baby girl" Kass replied in a sing amsong voice while checking her reflection on her cellphone. "Oh, dont be late for our dinner later, k?" She reminded her before facing Kenn on her left side. " Starbucks please." She said to him as she flash him her killer smile.

"That smile won't work on me, Kass. I have the same smile remember?" He replied before flashing an almost identical smile at her.

"Kids, now, now. I am being blinded with that smiles. Kenn, Mcdonalds please, need to add some vanilla milkshake on my system." Khlo, putting on a toothy smile in the rearview mirror, interjected with their talk.

"Starbucks or Mcdo?" Kenn replied while maneuvering his car ourtide their drive way.

"Mcdo because it's nearer then Starbucks." Kass replied as she face Khlo at the back seat "Khlo, you know Mcdo is so much sugar and the less healthy option between the two right?" She questioned- cum- lecture Khlo while raising her right eyebrow.

"Dont care. Mind your own Biz" Khlo replied nonchalantly. As she close her eyes, she gives Kass a shooing move, indicsaing that she doesn't want to talk anymore.

Kass shrug her shoulders before turning her attention at Kenn. " Big bro, do you have a girlfriend?" She asks excitedly, eyes shining in hope.

"None of your Biz" Kenn replied not minding her question.

Kass pouted and decided to shut her mouth. 'Haysss typical grumps in the morning' She thought. No one to talk to, she check her phone for any social media feeds.

She takea a selfie and post it in Social media with a caption of, 'My siblings are grumpy. Am I the only one happy in this great morning?' 10 seconds later, the likes reached 200 and the comments buzz her phone repeatedly.

'You are the prettiest' comments by one of her admirer in college

' Kass , talk to me then' said the other one.

'We miss you, queen' replied of one of her cheermates

'Call me girl' Said Daph, one of her bestfriends.

Reading the comments, Kass smiles widely. These comments made her morning. Satisfied now, she keeps her phone on silent mode and focus on the scenery outside.
