The Departure

I could not express my joy for the first time going outside the vampire world. Mom, dad and the entire family waited for me at the assembly ground to give me a farewell. I had no idea what I was looking for but before I realized I was already late. As I descended like a queen,they all turned looking in my direction.

"Arrghh! Arrghh! Arrghh!"

They made screams to welcome me while I walked majestically to stand on the platform and looked at them with fretted eyes.

"As we all know, the favorite princess of our entire empire is going to a world different from our own. You know the risks involve even though I have prince Kohath's protection; and as I am leaving I edge you all to give elder princess Ethni the maximum respect she deserves. Offer her the same treatment as you offered me because I am leaving you under her care".

"Your majesty, it's time for us to leave"

Shilshak said with her head bowed. I grabbed her neck and raised her.

"Arrghh! Arrghh! Arrgh Arrgh!"

They chorused.

"How many times have I not warned you not to interrupt when I am addressing my people!"

"Arrghh! Arrghh! Arrghh!"

They kept on telling me to put her down. I furiously dumped her as my ferns were still out.

"I am sorry my people, ..I apologized. Forgive me but I needed to teach this bastard a lesson. She nearly spoiled my mood.. haaahh, I am going to miss you all so much".

I ended my Last words to them with a kiss in the air and descended walking away as they pave way for me. I then took a piece of advice from queen Tohath as Shilshak and prince Kohath haulted with me from the car. Shilshak helped the other servants will my luggage and that of my brother into the plane. The plane set off and I stood to wave them through the window. The tears I tried so hard to suppress could no longer hide. I broke into unstoppable tears when I saw them depart. Before I realized I had fallen asleep. I woke up only to notice my head resting on the shoulders of someone. Immediately, I was about to get up but he pulled me back to lie on him.

"Oh come on you can feel at home"

His voice had this breaking sounds that echoes at the end. Slowly, I lifted my head to look at him but he placed my head down again.

"That's not necessary"

"And why is it unnecessary?" I asked.

"Because you look so tired and stressed"

"Whatever; you know very well this is not a tangible reason to stop me from seeing your face".

I said while I laid quietly down on him. The zeal to sleep had disappeared and it was making me more uncomfortable.

"I need to visit the washroom"

I stood up suddenly and said while trying to watch but he had covered his face with a news paper. Mmm.. whatever! I left trying to proving my unconcernity . On my way, I could feel my brother's hard gaze on me and I gave Shilshak a wicked look when she attempted to follow me. I stood infront of the mirror and admired myself. My hands shaked as I took a comb and ran it through my brown blonde hair. Sharply, my fangs came out. Oh gosh, my biggest fear of studying in the state was my fangs.

"I need to learn how to hide them"

I said after lifting my upper lip slightly to touch them. I washed my face and went out. I sat on a seat right behind him.

"But why is he hidding his face?"

I still couldn't get what was going on so I continued to steal glances but still failed. A girl of my age got up up from her seat and went to fill mine. Everything was clear she was waiting for an opportunity to just grab. My mood subsided all of a sudden when I saw so much happiness on her face. Slowly, her hand moved from the seat upward and..oh my what's happening to me? My whole body alarmed as I said in my thoughts. Immediately she was about to touch his hair,..

"Stop" He muttered.

But she was so stubborn that she proceeded and suddenly what we all heard was..

"Stop it!!! Top it!! Op it! It!..."

The whole plane shaked with everything inside and it began to land with an abnormal speed. As his cold voice continued to echo, prince Kohath and Shilshak came to surround me quickly and Arrgh! arrgg! Ready to attack him. As tension diffused everywhere in the plane, he strode to the front. Immediately the pilot saw him,he got up quietly from the seat for him to take his position. I could no longer see what was going on there but within a twinkle of an eye, the plane began ascending and for some time, everything was calmed like before. The pilot figgeted when he was supposed to go back to his seat. There he came, walking majestically from the path created. As I stood and watched him from afar, he stroke his brown curled hair letting it lie nicely behind him.

"Whoooah!" We all chorused. My gosh he had green eyes. I could no longer breath when my eyes landed on his cute pink lips. His tongue that came out to lick his Lower lip made me realized how hot and...he would be.

"Oh my... he's so hot" I turned to look at prince Kohath who also turned to look at me. His fangs were now hidding and was sitting on his seat. After the hero took back his seat, everyone got back to their various businesses after he cleared his throat except me.

"But where to Bro?"

Without even turning to look at me, not alone to answer me, there he stood, right next to him. This hero turned to see my brother with a stretch hand trying to be friends and still took his news papers and read them. How dared he! I felt really bad for prince Kohath who stood there with his hand stuck hanging in the air with his already fading smile. Slowly he placed them back beside him and walked shamefully back to his seat. My hands folded in a fist, giving him a deadly look, I went back to my seat.
