Ch.98 Yami Sukehiro

Scathach:" That was a waste of time."

" Yeah, that felt too easy. Hold on, someone is coming."

???:" Oi brats, what are you doing here?"

A tall man wearing a tank top with black pants, he had a stubble beard and mustache. He had his hair messily combed backward. He was also smoking a cigarette.

" Uuuhhh self protection??"

???:" Like, I'll believe that. Who are you, kid?"

He spoke as he continued tonwalk towards us. I felt my sixth sense ringing. I stepped back to dodge his hand that was about to grab my head.

???:" Hoh? you're quite fast, kid. Tell me your name before I kill you."

He spoke as he pointed his finger at me.

" Do you really have to result on threats."

Just after I said that, a heavy aura filled the durrounding area.

???:" Shut it, brat. I'm speaking."

Scathach was ready to attack, and so was I.

The man knew that we were ready to fight as he held his katana.

" Yuto. The names Yuto." I spoke before things could escalate.

???:" Wasn't so hard, brat. And you?"

Scathach stared with sharp eyes before replying.

Scathach:" Scathach."

???:" Welp, I'm leaving." The man walked away.

" Oi, hold on, do you know where the nearest town is?"

???:" Figure that out yourself, brat!"

" Sigh, let's just follow him."

Scathach:" Sigh, do we really have to follow that man?"

" Only way to find a town or village."

* A few minutes later ,*

???:" Why are two following me?"

" Because we can."

???:" Well, I don't allow it. Go somewhere else. Shoo shoo."

" Nope."

???:" If you don't, I'll kill you."

" And another threat."

I spoke as I noticed a grimore on his hips behind the cloak.

" Is that a grimore?"

???:" Don't touch it, or I'll kill you."

" I also have one as well."

I spoke as I took out the [ Word magic grimore] under my cape.

The man seemed to pause before smoking again.

???:" Sure, you didn't steal it."

I focused the mana into the book, which opened the book, and it started flipping pages.

???:" I see."

I put the grimore back, and as he stopped smoking, he turned his attention towards me.

???:" Oi kid, why not travel with me?"

" Travel with you? you're not a pervert are you."

The man just looked at me in the eye and spoke.

???:" I think killing you is a lot better."

I chuckled and responded.

" Sure, I guess I'll travel with you. Besides, I'm a foreigner here."

???:" Foreigner, huh? I see."

The three kept walking, and the man talked once more.

???:" Yami Sukehiro, that's my name."

" It's great to know you, Yami."

Yami:" Gross, you made it weird."

" You just made it weird now."

Yami:" Uh huh, sure. So what the deal with both of you?"

Scathach:" We're lovers." She responded quickly.

Yami:" Hoh? lovers at a young age. Just don't get lovey-dovey, or I'll kill you both."

" Sure, Well try I guess."

Yami:" Try harder."

* An hour later ,*

The three of us found a town and entered.

" Let's go check out the marketplace."

Scathach:" Alright."

Yami:" See ya brats later. I'll be at the gambling den."

" Sure."

Me and Scathach I went to the marketplace and checked out anything that stood out.

" Oh hey, look a wand."

Scathach:" Do you want one?"

" I don't think I'll shoot words out of a wand."

I turned to look at her as she looked away.

Scathach:" You're right."

For the whole day, we looked at shops and gathered information in this world.

At the end of the day, we looked for Yami to see him dressed in almost nothing.

Yami:" Man, that guy was too strong."

Scathach closed her eyes and looked away.

Scathach:" Put on some clothes."

" Did you lose everything?"

Yami:" Yup, kid, I need you to do me a favor and get my stuff my back." He said with a serious face as he held my shoulder.

" Sigh, alright."

* Two Hours Later.*

Yami:" Bwhahahaha, I didn't expect you to buy out the whole casino kid! Hahahaha!!!"

Yami was slapping my back as we ran from the angry gamblers.

Scathach also had to beat some guys that were going after her, which I joined in. And Yami was just laughing as he watched the show.

As we passed the gates and ran for a while longer, we escaped.

" Well, it looks like we'll have to camp tonight."

Yami:" Phew, this is my spot. Don't come near."

He picked an empty space.

Me and Scathach leaned against a tree.

Yami:" Oi, what did I say about being lovey-dovey."

" Just go to sleep. After all, I did get your stuff back."

Yami:" Tch."

* Next Morning *

Yami:" Oi, from now on, you're my personal chef!"

Yami declared after eating the breakfast I made.

" Whatever, I'm going to be traveling, either you anyways."

Scathach was eating elegantly, but I could feel how much she was holding herself back from just eating it whole.

After eating breakfast, we went on the road again.
