Ch. 75 Vortigern.

( Third Pov )

In the battlefield against the Vortigerns army, there was a white trail that was massacring its way through the army.

???:" T...TTHIS IS BAD!!! THE WHITE FANG IS APPROACHING!!!! RU....!!"

* Shlick *

Before the soldier could finish a white spear peirce through his skull.

Yuto:" Word magic: Blood control."

After saying that blood from the surrounding bodies floated in the air.

Yuto:" Peirce."

* Swoosh! * * Shlick *

The blood flew to the surrounding enemies, pericing them, and killing them.

Yuto pulled his spear back, and he continued to kill the last battalion of Vortigern.

' Breath of Massacre: Seventh Form variant: Spatial Massacre'

Adding the space element on the tip of the spear, Yuto began to gracefully move through the battlefield.

Sending spatial blades to the Saxon, massacring the rest of the army before they could flee in fear from the known knight who never showed his face.

The White Fang, The Hidden One.

After killing the last Saxon. Yuto sat on a pile of corpses as he waited for Artoria's army.

* With Artoria *

Bedivere:" My King, Yuto should just be ahead."

Arthur nodded as she rode the horses, followed by a battalion. Arthur, hearing Yutos' name, stroked the new armor he made for her before the battle.

* Flashback *

Artoria:" You're not joining them?" Artoria spoke as she approached Yuto from behind as he was looking at the moon.

Yuto:" No. I'm alright." Artoria glanced at Yutos' face before looking at the moon.

Artoria:" It's beautiful, isn't it?"

Yuto looked at her and replied.

Yuto:" Yeah, it is." He spoke with a gentle smile, and Artoria did as well.

Yuto:" Right before the battle, I want to give you this."

Yuto gave Artoria a white armor.

Yuto:" This should help in your battle against Vortigan. It has anti magic and is able to reflect magic and physical attacks. It should also help control your mana better. This is all I could do. Your fight with Vortigern is up to fate."

' Fate, huh? I wonder if we're fated together, Yuto.' Artoria thought as she stroked the new armor that was gifted to her.

" Thank you, Yuto, not just the armor but by staying by side." Artoria smiled as she looked up to Yutos' golden eyes.

Yuto:" Yeah, and I'm glad spending every waking moment with you." He spoke as he looked back to the moon, and Artoria did as well.

As Artoria was looking at the moon, she was reminded of Merlins vision of seeing Yuto with another woman. And that made her feel uneasy. But thinking to her kingship, she steeled her resolve.

* Flashback end *

Arthur:" March forward."

" Yes, your majesty!!" The soldiers shouted.

The army marched to the ruins of the fortress city of Londinium. Where King Uther died fighting Vortigern. And where Camelot was built.

( A/N: I know I mentioned Camelot in the previous chapter, but I changed it to some random capital city since Camelot was built on the ruins of the fortress city of Londinium. Thank you for dealing with me. I still have one brain cell left)

As the Army approached the battlefield, they expected to be an army waiting for them with Sir Yuto holding them off.

But what they saw was a bloody massacre. Some knights felt uncomfortable seeing this. Some who fought with the white fang had gotten used to it, but it didn't stop the fact that it still gives them a chill to their spines.

Yuto, seeing King Arthur arrive with his army, put up his hood once more. And he got up to move to King Arthur.

Yuto:" King Arthur, Vortigern is at the ruins of the fortress city of Londinium. He also has an army with him as well."

King Arthur:" Thank you, Sir Yuto, You should rest."

Yuto:" The King is too kind. But I wish to fight by your side as your loyal knight." If one could see under Yutos hood, they would see the playfulness in them as he spoke.

Artoria knew Yuto was just having fun speaking like that, but she kept a stoic face to not reveal their close relationship.

King Arthur:" Very well then, Sir Yuto, you'll be with Gawain and I to face Vortigern as the others fight the Saxon Army."

Yuto:" A very splendid plan, my King, you're so wise."

Arotria could hear the sarcasm and thought.

' Sigh, I'll deal with you later, Yuto.' Artoria thought as she started to go March forward on her horse.

King Arthur:" Forward!!"

As Artoria passed Yuto, Sir Gawain approached Yuto with his horse.

Gawain:" Come, brother, let's ride to battle." He spoke as he stretched a hand out.

Yuto accepted his hand and rode on the back of his horse.

Yuto:" Let's do this, Sir Gawain."

Gawain:" Of course."

Following the army as we caught up with the rest.

Percival qithout his helmet moved his horse towards Gawains and spoke.

Percival:" I'm glad to see you alright, Sir Yuto."

Yuto:" You're too kind, Sir Percival, though I didn't get any injuries, not to mention blood."

Percival:" Yes, but don't you think you could've gone a little easier on them. They have families as home."

Yuto:" Sir Percival, when a knight or soldier picks up the blade and kills another man with it, they must be ready to die the same. As a knight, I thought you knew this fact."

Percival:" Yes, but seeing them being slaughtered like....like.."

Yuto;" Like animals?"

As yuto finished his sentence for him, Percival jolted and nodded with a solemn face.

Yuto turned to look at him.

Yuto:" They behaved like animals, so I put them down like animals." And it seemed that anyone that heard Yuto shivered. The knights of the round table were no exception.

Bedivere:" Well, it's great to see you well Yuto, sorry we had to burden you with this task."

Yuto:" It's alright. Someone had to hold the line."

Gawain:" Hold the line!!? You destroyed the line. Hahaha. " He laughed under his helmet.

Yuto was looking around. He saw Kay was silent under his helmet.

Yuto:" What wrong, Sir Kay? You're not blabbering your mouth like always."

Kay:" Blabbering!? You just can't comprehend my words, that's all!!"

Yuto:" There it is, I wondered if you were an imposter!"

Kay:" Shut up!!"

Approaching the ruins of the fortress city of Londinium. King Arthur commanded the army to charge. The Saxons charged into battle as well.

Yuto got off the horse and ran forward, making the knights witness the massacre that was about to happen.

Yuto managed to create an opening in the formation that King Arthur and Gawain used to approach Vortigern.

Hours passed, and Vortigern transformed into a silver dragon. Yuto, seeing this, ran towards Artoria and Gawain, who had their holy swords deprived.

King Arthur used Rhongomyniad, but it wasn't enough until Yuto came in from above

Vortigern:" RRRRAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!"

Yuto peirce his heart with the spear, and King Arthur finished him off.

With the battle finished. The Saxons surrendered. And were pushed out of Britain. King Arthur, along with the help of the fairies, built Camelot.

( Yuto Pov )

Hearing the music in the hall as the others celebrated. I was gazing at the moon.

Artoria:" You're not joining the celebration."

"How could I. We still have a long journey ahead of us, Artoria."

Artoria:" That is true." She spoke as she walked next to me. We were both in the hallways illuminated by nothing but the moon.

" How about a dance." I offered a hand to her, which she accepted.

Artoria:" Of course." Putting a hand on her hips and holding her hand with the other, we both danced to the music that was coming from the dining hall.

As we danced in the hallway, I noticed someone was watching. Stopping our dance, Artoria looked up to me.

Looking at the corner, I spoke.

" What do you want, Morgan?"

Morgan:" Well, I wanted to see you, but it seems you're a little busy."

" Yes we are, so could you leave us be."

Morgan:" No need to be hostile, Sir Yuto. I already wanted to see what I came for, that's all." She smiled as she walked away.

" Your sister is a problem already."

Artoria:" Sigh, let me deal with it, but for now, let's continue."

" Alright."

We both smiled.

" Right, I forgot to ask, but I'll be gone for a while."

Artoria:" What? gone? What do you mean, Yuto?"

" You'll be crowned as King of Britain tomorrow. I'll see that before leaving."

Artoria:" Where, Yuto?" She spoke with a serious face.

Artoria:" You promised me that you'll be by side all the time, so why?"

" Artoria." I spoke with a serious face as I looked into her eye.

" I'll be gone for a couple of years and...."

Artoria:" A couple of years!!!!!???? Where are you going..." Before she finished, I kissed her.

Artoria eyes widen but later closed as she accepted. Pulling back, I looked into her eyes, which was watery as she looked at me with love.

Brushing her hair, I spoke.

" I got a prophesy, I need to travel to somewhere, and it'll take a while."

Arotria:" Where to? I could come as well."

" No, it's a burden I need to do myself."

Artoria:" Did you forget what you promised me that night, Yuto? We'll share each other's burdens together."

" Yes, I remember, but you're a king now. you'll be shouldering more responsibility than I, so please just this once let me donthis on my own."

Artoria:" Of course, Yuto. But please come back safely."

" Of course I will." I smiled before kissing her one more time.

" Now come on, I'm sure everyone is wondering where the King is at."

Artoria smiled and replied.

Artoria:" Having her kiss stolen by the man she loves."

Chuclkimgnto myself I grabbed her and walked towards the dining hall before entering I we let go. Putting my hood up as Artoria opened the doors.

" YOUR MAJESTY KING ARTHUR HAS ARRIVED!!" I announced, shutting up the people inside.

I walked behind Artoria like a faithful knight. Beforenshe sat at the head of the table as I stood behind her.

Many others were wary as a knight who easily massacred an entire battalion himself. But we were put to ease as they thought I'm a loyal knight serving the King.

As Artoria ordered for the celebration to continue, Gawain walked up next to me.

Gawain:" Sir Yuto! why not drink with us?"

I looked at Artoria, who nodded.

" Sure."

I sat down on the table with Gawain as he sat opposite of me.

Gawain:" Why not a competition?"

" Are you sure? The last time wasn't pretty."

Gawain:" Yeah, I'm sure!"

Taking a mug, we both chugged.

* Bam! * * Cheers *

" Beat him, Sir Gawain!!"

" Come on, Sir Yuto!!"

Taking another before Gawain could finish his, I chuggednit down once more.

A few hours passed, and Gawain was seen hanging on his chair passed out, and there were many who tried to challenge me as well.

Getting up, I walked to my bedroom. Along the way, I saw Morgan once more.

Morgan:" Are you alright, Yuto? You drank a lot. Want me to take you to your room?"

I knew she was trying to bewitch me.

' Sigh.'

" I'm fine, Morgan, I can take myself."

I passed by her before she could touch me.

I was careful in case she might do something once she touches me.

As I made some distance from her. Morgan spoke once more.

Morgan:" How come you chose her over me?"

" Sigh, how's King Lot." That sentence made Morgan quiet.

" Sigh, if you'll excuse me, I need some sleep. Oh, your son Gawain is passed out in the dining hall."

I shut the door and sat down next to the open window.

Vivian, the lady of the lake, Morgan the human which birthed Gawain and his brothers. Morgan Le Fay is the dangerous one that holds the mystery.

Saying that Gawain was her son told her I knew of her three personalities and that I knew there were three of her.

As well as knowing that she holds the mystery as well.

As I was thinking a fairly eneterd through the window.

" Liz?"

Liz:" Sir Yuto I found you! "

Holding Liz on the palm of my hand, I questioned why she wanted to meet me.

" Why are you here?"

Liz:" The Fairy mother wants to congratulate you on your battle against Vortigan, so she asked me to give you this. "

Taking out a small seed she dropped it on my hand.

Liz:" She explained it would help in waking that small dragon inside of you. As it needs a huuuuuhe jump start in life force."

She explained as she made cute gestures.

" Really? express my thanks to her."

Liz:" Umm I can't actually."

" Why's that?"

Liz:" Because she want me to accompany you on your journey."

" I see, than I'll bein you care Liz."

Liz:" Of course!"

The fairy mother, I met them when I traveled with Artoria and got a blessing form her.

Liz is the daughter of the Fairy Queen. Liz is able to control the five elements and that was really rare as only one Fairy could control one element.

Liz also has [Fairy Eye] which is able to see through any lie. She's also able to do [Fairy letters] which is to engrave inscriptions onto weapons, armor, and etc. She's mostly uses [ Fairy Letters ] as she like blacksmithing, and we got along very well with each other.

As I could make items and she could increase there rank with her inscriptions. So I guess you could say we work well together. She also taught me more about the elements and their meanings in nature.

" Yawn, well let's get some sleep Liz. We'll be traveling tomorrow after the ceremony."

Liz:" Yes sir!" She saluted.

' Iris, when is the barrier between us and the land of shadows holding?'

< It should be weakened at the end of the year. I recommend strengthing your spear as it would need alot of surabilty to cut through it.>

' Alright, I also need to start on that space breathing technique as well.'

< Why not have her help you in this?>

' Hmm, you're right, I'll hold it off for now than. Good ight Iris'

Laying on bed I felt Liz already sleeping on the other pillow. Before sleeping I observed the seed that Liz gave me.

' I don't know the effects of this, so I'll hold off until I get into the land of shadows.'
