( Yuto Pov )

The way of the cats... to sleep in the sun, eat as much as you could, and annoy everyone. that's the true way of the cats.

" How long are you going to remain in this form?" Artoria spoke as she looked at me in my cat form.

" Forever if I could." I replied with a sleepy voice.

" No can do." She replied as she picked me.

" This is better." I spoke as I snuggled in her arms.

I could hear Artorias' heartbeat speeding up.

" Yeah, this is..." I fell asleep.

( Artoria Pov )

"Sigh." I sighed as I carried Yuto in my arms.

this has been happening for a couple of days. it is no surprise that Yuto has become lazy.

' But still... I don't want him to overwork himself while he's also traveling between worlds. I guess this should've been expected.' I thought as I walked into the house.

" Did you grab Yuto?" Yuriko asked as I nodded.

" Yes...he has...accepted his cat nature." I responded as Yuriko tilt her head toward Yuto in my arms.

her eyes narrowed as she walked up to us.

" Listen to me, you little shit. You better stop laying around this instance and start chasing mices if you don't listen." Yuriko threatened as Yuto peeked his eyes open.

( Yuto Pov )

[ Ding new Mission! ]

[ Hunt three mices. ]

" Wha??" I blurted in confusion as I looked at my mother and Artoria.

I saw my mother staring into my soul.

' I know this look. It's the same look she gives dad when she bears the living crap out of him.' I thought as shiver ran down my spine as I looked at the quest panel.

' Shit, don't tell me...'

" We're you listening?" Mother asked as I looked at her in horror.

" Y-yes." I stuttered in fear. Even my gamers mind won't work as it couldn't suppress the amount of fear I was feeling.

" Then what did I say?" She asked as I realized she was holding me by the nape.

" Uhhh, h-hunt mices?" I responded.

Mother nodded with a satisfied face as she gave me back to Artoria as I hid in her arms.

It's an embarrassing sight, but something is all too common sight to see in every household with mother/wife.

" Ahem, looks like you have work to do." Artoria put me on the ground as I stared at her.

" And where are you going?" I asked.

" Scathach and Tsunade need help. And I'm willing to assist them in their time of need." She replied.

" Can't you take me with you?" I asked as I turned my head to look into the kitchen to see Yuriko humming as I turned back to Artoria, who had a smile.

" No." She replied.

I deadpanned as I watched her leave.

Father was out celebrating with his new team, and Kakashi was doing a mission with his new team.

I looked down at my paw and my clothes.

apparently, I could still wear Ezios robes while in my cat form.

I sighed as I transformed back to my human state with cat ears.

" Yuto, the mices." Yuriko spoke as I nodded in response.

in a second, I already located the mices as I walked to the attic.

there, I saw three mices fighting for cheese

" Yo." I greeted them.

Squeak! Squeak!

they squeaked as they saw me.

" Calm down, I'm not a cat." I held my hands up.

Squeak!!

" Look, I'm sure you're all hiding here, but my mom doesn't like mice or rats in our household -

Squeak! Squeak!

" Huh? Shiro? you're asking for him?" I looked at the mices in surprise.

The mouses began to talk about their visitation.

apparently, the population of cats has been on the rise, and the rats and mices formed an alliance, but the rats betrayed the mices as the rat king got crazy and blood thirsty.

The cats tried to calm the situation but proved to be useless.

the mices were slaughtered and hunted.

' Could be rabies or a disease. this could be bad if the rats start targeting humans or larger animals.' I thought as I looked at the mices.

" Fine, I'll help." I replied as the mices squeaked in celebration.

The rat kingdom, their territory, is in the sewer system.

I jumped down the hole and landed in a dark tunnel.

the three mices were on my shoulders as I walked down the dark tunnel.

spreading my mana outwards, a map was created and updated to the system as I created a fireball in the air.

Squeak!

this scared the mices as I calmed them down and replaced it with a ball of light instead.

it was eerie as I smelled the air.

and as expected of a sewer system, it smelled bad.

' The smell of death...a disease. It seems I'll have to purify this whole place.' I concluded.

I focused the chakra on my feet as a plant grew with a vibrant green light.

It was a combination of wood style and purification.

this plant will grow on the walls and floor as it purifies the air.

as I kept walking, the smell became more suffocating to the point the mices entered my robes as I cleared the dark air with purification and wind to generate clean air.

I frowned as I heard the sounds of squeaks and rapid approaching red dots on the map.

in the left tunnel, there was a horde of rats approaching.

stretching my hand out, I used a fire spell.

" Fire typoon." With word magic and fire affinity, the spell instantly burned the rats. The tunnel was fine as it the fire was under great control.

' By gaming knowledge, the Rat king should be in this direction.' I thought as I walked into the left tunnel.

along the way, the amounts of rats increased as I burned them to nothingness.

' This is a lot, if this got out of hand it would be effected the village.' I thought as I burned the rats that came from the right tunnel.

' They keep getting bigger as well, don't tell me this disease is mutating them?'

I stepped into a large room with many tunnels with flowing water going down a large hole.

I walked up to this hole, and the sounds of boss music was playing.

" Iris?".

< Yes, host? >

" Are you playing boss music?" I spoke.

< Yes. do you wish for me to turn it off?> she replied.

" No. Turn it up." I spoke before putting on my sunglasses and dropping down into the hole.

Splash!!

I landed and stood in front of a large creature.

' Iris. Tell why?'

" Yes, why the fuck is it strong!? this could go toe to toe with a monster from the Greek Era! "

the Rat Kimg shifted its body.

< I thought we never talked about the Greek Era? >

" We don't." I replied as I jumped back.

Sqqqeeeeauuuuaaaaa!!!

the Rat King roared or all the rats roared.

I saw an abomination, Rats that I can't count were all formed into one, their tails tangled together, creating this form.

" Fire of the damned."

a dark purple fire engulfed the Rat king.

< The answer for this boss is because of your level. Since you have leveled up, so will your enemies or bosses or any hidden bosses you will come across. >

Iris explained.

" Was it in the update?" I asked.

< Yes. it was on the update screen that should've explained it to you, which you ignored. >

" Eh, it was too long." I shrugged.

I could hear Iris sighing as I increased the heat.

The fire turned blood red as I infused a little bit of chaos energy.

Sqquuueeeeaaaaa!!!!

it screamed as it pushed through the fire as it rushed towards me.

" Tsk." clicking my tongue, I unsheated Mahiru.

" Woah. look at this creature!" Mahiru shouted behind me as Ignored her.

" Mahiru." I chanted as the flames engulfed my arm along with the blade as Mahiru hugged my back.

Sun breathing: Thirteenth form.

I passed the rat king as I turned around to see it repairing itself.

the rats were eating the ones that died and used it for energy, and to grow stronger as I saw a small increase to its height.

" This will take a while." I spoke aloud.

( Artoria Pov )

" It's a pleasure to meet you all." I greeted the chat group Scathach spoke about as she returned back to her original form.

" Uh-Uh hello." Kuroneko, a young woman in a black dress, greeted me with a nervous expression.

I smiled and nodded in response.

" Well, let's get this over with." Tsunade from Yutos world spoke as she walked away.

" Come on. Let's see how you do in this mission." Scathach spoke as she held her spear over her shoulder.

I nodded as I walked with the group.

A knight with red hair as she smiled and followed Tsunade.

A little girl with a scarf who kept to herself along with another who held a red katana.

and a new member, Edward Eric, a young man with a metal arm and red coat as he looked around the market.

" Come, the guild is this way." The Knight spoke with a smile as she led us to her guild.

Erza Scarlet was leading us to her guild for our mission to become members.

though I still don't get why I was brought along.

" Magic!!" kuroneko or Ruri Gokou shouted in excitement before laughing nervously as she noticed the stares she had.

" Hm?" Edward bought a book as he tilted his head once he opened it.

and Tsunade was changed in her direction once Erza led us to her guild.

Scathach had a small on her face as I looked at her.

" Scathach, why bring me along?" I asked as I was curious.

" Hm? well, this could be a perfect time to bond." She replied.

" Besides, I wanted to bring Yuto but...well you know." She smirked as I nodded.

Yuto already had his transportation of traveling worlds, and we are worried he might go study this world and its power system.

" Welcome to Fairy Tail. " Erza opened the doors.

we looked in to see a fight happening inside.

I felt the power of the dragon from inside as i observed the guild for the source only to realize it came from the young man with pink hair who was fighting another with no shirt on.

' Well, this is a good greeting.' I thought inwardly as a short old man approaches us.

" Erza, who are these people?" He asked us as he observed us one by one.

" These are my friends from afar. They have traveled here to join." Erza explained as she told her guild master, Makarov, the she met us in her travels or mission.

" I see." He rubbed his chin as he looked at the floor before looking at us with a smile.

" Then, I welcome you all to Fairy Tail!" He accepted us without any trouble.
