Unexpected Situation!

Warm water sprinkled down Akito's bloody body. The area around his feet was extremely bloody, but it only took a minute for the blood to disappear.

Akito looked down at his hands that were now free of blood.

His eyes were drooping and he felt tired, extremely tired.

Physically not that much but he was mentally fatigued. He had slaughtered so much, the number of zombies he killed was well past 200.

But that wasn't what took a toll on him, It was the tiny mental struggle he faced when killing people who had been bitten and were on the verge of becoming zombies.

He didn't like the pleading look in there eyes because deep within those eyes was unwillingness, regret, and despair.

Each time he took such a life he felt something inside him slip away.

He didn't know what it was.

Akito was just another average person but he held pride in one thing, which was the ability to remain rational in most situations.

He had learned to cope with things when he lost his parents at the age of 11.

The moment the apocalypse started and he killed the undead couple in the grocery store, a single thought took root in his mind and that was,

He cast away any hesitation and distracting thoughts and focused on a single thing.

Killing Zombies!

Men? Women? Children?

Kill!

He mercilessly killed 'anything' that was a 'zombie'.

But now that he was in a relaxing bath, various thoughts filled his mind which tired him too much.

"... Did Saeko notice it?"

He was still confused by the flash of worry that passed in Saeko's eyes when she approached him earlier.

It was human nature to be complex but Akito knew one thing.

After having completed his bath Akito walked out with a towel around his waist.

To think he hadn't brought clothes with him in haste.

When he walked out he saw them all sitting on the ground exhausted. He could somewhat understand what they were feeling like.

The constant rush and adrenaline would soon wear down and they would gain a better understanding of what lay ahead of them.

Seeing Akito walkout half-naked caused the girls beside Shizuka to blush. Shizuka had a strange gleam in her eyes seeing his body.

After 7 days, while he hadn't gained proper muscles there was a clear outline of six-packs on his stomach.

Akito chuckled seeing this and headed towards one of the rooms in search of clothes, "I'm done. The bath's quite big you guys should bath too."

Saya was the first one to rush in while yelling, "Yeah thanks captain obvious!"

Saeko, Rei, and Shizuka followed her leaving the dumbfounded Takashi and Kohta alone.

Kohta turned towards Takashi and muttered lifelessly, "Life's unfair..."

Takashi could only nod but he also noticed Rei blushing earlier which caused him to feel a bit bitter.

Akito who walked out wearing a pair of fresh new clothes walked towards Takashi and Kohta while smiling.

"I believe we still haven't properly introduced ourselves to each other."

"I'm Akito Raijin, 18 years old."

Takashi got up and shook Akito's hand, "Takashi Komuro, 17 years old."

Kohta too introduced himself, "Kohta Hirano, 17 years old."

"Aaaah~!"

Akito was about to say something when the three of them suddenly heard a rather loud moan which sounded like Shizuka.

Takashi and Kohta blushed a bit.

"Hey, how about we peek at them, as fellow men I thin-" His words caught stuck in this throat when he saw Akito gently staring at him, but why did his eyes look so scary?

"Ha ha ha-haha, I was just j-joking, haha" Kohta laughed nervously while looking towards Takashi for help.

Takashi promptly ignored him, "Oh look those metal cabinets might have something good in them."

'Takashi! How could you!!!'

Patting the trembling Kohta's shoulder he walked towards the cabinets and his eyes glowed, he knew exactly what was within them. He also looked over Kohta and knew he would be jumping with delight soon.

"Saeko told me that the owner of this house is from the military, is that true?"

"Yeah, Marikawa-san said her friend worked in the special forces," Takashi replied while looking at the cabinets with interest, trying to ignore the constant moaning coming from the bath.

Akito placed his hand on it and tried opening it but it was locked. While he was strong, he wasn't at the level of bending metal yet.

Picking a crowbar from the side he placed it in the gap and opened the left side first. Immediately a ton of ammunition fell due to the sudden force which caused Kohta's eyebrows to tremble.

"So much variety...?" Kohta muttered with doubt.

Akito immediately opened the other side and low-behold, a bunch of threatening guns were neatly placed in it.

Suddenly he heard heavy breathing behind him, turning his head back he saw Kohta rush at them and pushed them away.

While Takashi stumbled back, Akito remained standing and Kohta fell instead but he immediately got up and rushed again.

This time Akito side-stepped and gave him space to look inside. Kohta finally pulled out of one of the guns and his eyes had a crazed look.

"AN SR25!" He excitedly put it away and grabbed another one, "M14a1?", He started spouting information regarding it at such a rapid speed that made Akito even more tired.

"That Crossbow! A descendant of the one Robinhood used!"

Takashi pulled out a shotgun and pointed it at Kohta which caused him to pale in fright, "Are you crazy? Put that away, Put that away. Don't point it at others even if it's unloaded!"

"A Riot Shotgun!"

After calming down he shared its name.

As Kohta was mumbling about the gun Akito got up and walked to the balcony. Enjoying the cold wind for a bit he turned his head towards the commotion in the distance.

Knowing what was going on Akito sighed.

Takashi and Kohta were assembling the bullets when suddenly Takashi's startled voice drifted over.

"Are you for real!?"

"Hmm, Must be Kohta telling him how he practiced with real guns and his training from some delta officer or something."

Akito found out another thing he had to do when he returned. He would start reading the novel of Against The Gods, Watch the anime of My Hero Academia, read its manga, Also watch Naruto again.

Small details could help anywhere, there was no harm in refilling his memory not that he had to 'live' in these worlds.

If he was given a day, then he could've rewatched Highschool of The Dead but sadly only got 30 minutes.

The occasional sounds of zombies growling drifted into his ears.

He tiredly stared into the sky, he was waiting for the girls to finish their bath, he wanted to talk to Saeko about something for a bit before sleeping.

After a few minutes, he heard the sound of the T.V being turned on. Takashi and Kohta were looking at the content with fear and apprehension.

"Akito, Come here and see this." Takashi quickly called out to him and he walked over.

Akito frowned seeing the situation being reported. Protests were taking place and riots would happen according to what was just shown. 'To think these people are still in denial.'

Bang!

The reporter suddenly got bitten and in the background, a police officer shot his colleague who wanted to bite him.

Takashi turned the T.V off and said with some worry, "I think we should leave."

Kohta immediately rebutted him, "No way! We can't just leave so suddenly."

Akito who was standing behind the couch Takashi and Kohta were sitting on also spoke out,

"I agree with Kohta, We don't need to be in a hurry, if the situation seemed to turn awry, we can still escape. After al-"

Suddenly Akito turned around and immediately a shadow enveloped him.

Before he could figure out what was going on he felt a rosy wet and soft sensation on his lips.

His eyes immediately widened seeing the blonde hair of Shizuka.

Shizuka had just come out of the bath and her body was soaking wet and her smooth skin glistened.

She was wearing a towel just above her chest and nothing else, she was practically naked!

Akito's eyes grew blurry, he was extremely tired but if he wanted to push Shizuka away he could easily do so no matter how tired he was.

But for some reason he didn't.

Instead, he wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer.

"Mmm~" Shizuka moaned while kissing and pulled her tongue out leaving a trail of saliva between their lips.

The moment they separated Akito regained his clarity.

'What the fuck?'

He suddenly remembered something like this happening in the anime.

Shit! He had forgotten that under the guise of an apocalyptic world, Highschool Of The Dead was a softcore fan service hentai.

His eyes suddenly met with Shizuka's. Shizuka was looking at him with heat in her eyes.

'Did they play around with each other too much in the bath?'

He immediately picked Shizuka up and princess carried her to the other room, after placing a blanket on her he came back and saw Rei glaring at him.

"Heh, Having fun with the girls now that we're safe, huh Mr. I'm The Strongest. Hmm?"

Looking at Rei's slightly red face his eyebrows twitched and he poked his finger at her neck. Her eyes immediately lost focus and she dropped unconscious.

He also picked her up in a princess carry and headed towards the same room Shizuka was in.

Just as he was about to enter the room, Takashi blocked his path.

Seeing Akito touch Rei and cause her to suddenly fall unconscious made Takashi immediately yell while running over, "Hey what the fuck did you do to her?"

Akito narrowed his eyes at him. Even though he was introduced as Saeko's friend he was still a stranger to them.

"She's just exhausted, I'm placing her next to Shizuka."

Takashi looked at Rei in Akito's hands. She had subconsciously wrapped her hands around Akito's neck and wasn't wearing anything underneath the tank top and shorts she was wearing.

"I'm her friend, I'll do it, no need to trouble yourself." Takashi inched closer to them as if wanting to take away Rei.

Akito was annoyed.

Honestly, Akito didn't care about Rei or Takashi and nor did he have any thoughts towards Rei but Takashi's attitude annoyed him.

He had been pretty polite till now.

He smirked and stepped further, "I will do it." He took another step, "Are you going to stop me?"

Takashi's eyes widened the moment he felt the apprehensive aura around Akito and suddenly calmed down.

While holding his head he said, "I'm sorry, I was just not in the right mind." He shook his head.

"Hmm," Akito patted his shoulder, "I know you're frustrated and all but calm down, You're not alone we're all as tense as you are."

Takashi nodded, He didn't know why he felt so angry a minute ago.

He needed to rest.

Kohta came forward and consoled Takashi. He was ready to pick up the gun if something suddenly happened.

Akito placed Rei next to Shizuka and pulled the blanket over Shizuka to cover them both.

Looking at Shizuka's sleeping face his mind drifted back to the kiss.

Shaking his head, he headed out.

He took one final glance at her and thought mischievously, 'I'm not going to pretend this didn't happen.'
