But I was never a fan of justice or anything, I was just disturbed by those people.

My life was completely normal, going to school, back to home, hanging out with friends, ahem, alone.

I didn't have any friends, it was more like I didn't have any close friends who I could talk to freely. I found it hard to keep a long relationship with people, I was afraid to speak up to people, when I did, I always said the things I didn't mean and hurt people's feelings.

So I was fine being alone watching others.

I was fine really, eating alone, dancing alone, going to a cinema alone, going to the restaurant alone, even sitting alone in the park.

I didn't need friends, it wasn't quite important really. Just live a day and move on to the next day.

And about love, they said not all people want love, it wasn't true, some wanted love, but I wanted money.

Seriously, people!!! We needed money to buy the ticket to our favorite movie, it wasn't like they were gonna let you in just because you're a couple??

So I stumbled upon a very unique job, just when I was out of money (broke), that guy came to me giving me his number when I was eating a mouthful.

"What??" I asked him angrily disturbing my lunch at my favorite bench.

"Be my girlfriend." to be honest, I was quite surprised since I was a girl who never had a boyfriend before. My heart went badump badump seeing his...luxurious bag and shoes, and shirt, and glasses, and watch, and!!!

My heart as a gold digger was almost jumping to accept his proposal but the proposal didn't end there.

"I will give you a hundred buck each date."

"Ten!"

"Deal!" and so, I became a girlfriend with the guy whatever his name was.

It felt a little bit less awkward when you went to a place with someone, I didn't have to bring out my phone and scroll through my gallery to avoid people's eyes judging.

His bodyguards were everywhere, it felt so bothersome. But everything was gonna be fine since I got money.

I was drooling over his money counting each and every paper of money after the date at the amusement park.

"There's a dollar missing."

"Sorry, here."

I got like ten thousand bucks in just one week, could you believe it??

I gotta buy a ton of novels with it.

But I didn't get to read it when that guy came to my house out of a sudden.

It was okay for me since I was quite an expert at dealing with people, I went broke days ago before that because I broke a pervert's toes.

"My mother is looking for me, I don't want to go home yet."

That guy didn't want love as well, but for the sake of his mother, he just faked everything.

I didn't really mind though since I got paid just hanging out with him.

"..." he was speechless which the garbage excuse I used to chase him out.

"Fine, fine. Go back safely, you rich boy."

I jumped onto my bed and continued reading the novel that I forgot the title.

I ended up sleeping till lunchtime after finishing reading it. I got like twenty missed calls on my phone.

Well, none of it mattered since Suga(Suho) told me not to pick up my phone.

The same number kept calling me, I couldn't shut my phone since I had to copy the homework of a 'friend'.

I snapped when the call reach one hundred. I picked it up and went to the address they sent me which was the nice cafe.

The cafe had no customer except the one woman with two bodyguards wearing sunglasses even though the sky was raining.

The lady sat at the end of the table with a face similar to a certain someone.

"I heard you're my son's girlfriend."

"Yes, I'm Su...ho's girlfriend."

"Break up with him."

"No, I can't do that, ma'am."

A thousand buck was put on the table.

"You can't buy me with money."

A hundred thousand more were added.

I shed a tear muttered to her with my eyes kept glancing at the money, "No matter how much you tried to buy me..."

A million dollars was on the table and my lip was sealed

I nodded accepting the money.

She also nodded at her bodyguards when I was leaving. I didn't mind since I got the money besides that guy will find another girlfriend he could rent.

A college isn't free, right??

I was walking and jumping with the money suitcase and the bag of ramen toward my apartment murmuring the song along the way.

People looked at me, but I didn't care. I had money, money was in my hand. I could buy a phone, a laptop, and even a motor with it.

Honk honk honk honk

"Da-Yun, look out!!!!"

It was bullsh*t!!!!

How could such a thing happen in the twenty century??

I didn't understand but money was falling like rain over my cold body. I was an obedient citizen walking on the sideroad and the car hit me.

I died just like that.

"Mom!!!! Why???!!! Why did you do that??!!!! I **** that girl."

"Suho, I can't allow you to love such a gold digger. I searched for some history about her, she wasn't a nice person. She's a bad influence on you. I'm sorry too, I was just going to scare her and take the money back...but the brake broke."

"Scare her??? She died!!!! She died saving me!!!! If it wasn't for her, I would've died."

Yeah, I did save him. Even though he was the one shouting to me to look out. The car turned to him because of the broken brake. And I jumped in to save him.

Haa...easy money was never rewarding.

I shouldn't have accepted the money in the first place. I shouldn't be the girlfriend of the son of the mafia's gang.

I shouldn't...do this and that...I shouldn't steal the candy from the kid. I should've tried to remember people's names.

There were many things I still haven't done. Even if I was just a fake girlfriend, he was my first love, I never got to tell him that.

I love Suho. My first love just ended like that.

After that, when I woke up again, I remembered I was walking inside the void.

There was a blonde-haired woman crying holding an adult lady inside her. I stood on top of the water. It was like an ocean made of that woman's tears.

"My beloved child...I'm a useless mother...I'm sorry...I couldn't protect you...Lavinia...mother's sorry." I was standing there frozen watching a mother crying her eyes out for a woman with the sword stabbed in the stomach.

It was different from what I read in the novel. That woman was an emotionless, heartless, mean woman who never cared about her own daughter.

But was there really a mother who didn't love her own daughter?? It was the question hit deep in my mind when I saw that scene.

Suddenly, that woman, the mother of the villainess who just died, walked up to me kneeling down to me.

"Please, please save my child. Please raise her with love, please treat my child nicely. I beg you, please don't hurt my beloved child. Please give her a happy ending she deserves."

A villainess?? Happy ending??

It was ridiculous, but I nodded accepting that woman's request.

She left with the smile on her face turning to the butterfly surrounding me. My face changed when I looked at myself in the clear water.

I had her face, her eyes, and her hair. The void changed, everything changed. All I could see were many clocks with its hand going counterclockwise.

'I left it all up to you, Damia.'

My new name was Damia, the mother of the villainess.

I became the single mother in the novel I read a night before I died.

I should have chosen another novel...

And now, all I could think of...REGRET!!!!

Ahhhh!!!!

I never even once kissed a guy, why did I have to give birth???!!!

"Madame, a little more..." I was panting trying to push the damn baby out of my body. They said a lot of mothers died during giving birth, I'm really impressed of the original body to give birth to such a baby and survive.
