Monster Killers: The Kingdom of Hilleongord

Hilleongord was once a peaceful and happy place, where magic and potions exist. People used to rely and believe in "Eleonor" the witch and immortal being. They would all call and offer sacrifices to her. And she would happily give and answer their prayers. But after years and years have passed, fewer and fewer people goes to visit and offer sacrifices to her. At first she didn't thought much about it and just let it be, since she thought people were only busy, and she thought that maybe since her Annual special day is coming they were gonna visit and surprise her. And so she waited, but when that day came, she was surprised... not even one showed up, and so she finally realized and took matters at hand to see what was going on. And that's when she saw people doing nothing but sleep and do what they wanted to do. People became lazy and have forgotten to take their responsibilities and did nothing but have fun. But what she was most furious about is not because they didn't showed up or offer her sacrifices and gifts, but because the people became lazy and most importantly, they used her to get what they want and live an easy life and feel no hardships at all. She got so furious that her eyes started to darken, dark veins showing up... and then the land started to shake, black skies began to form, thunder, lightning, and storm started to hit the land. And the people started screaming and crying.

(Eleonor's Pov)

Eleonor: You people have not only sinned by not being grateful and forgetting me, but you have also used me to get what you need. You have forgotten to feel pain and hardships. You have forgotten to fulfill your responsibilities. You have became lazy and became an ungrateful mortals. You don't deserve pity nor help from me.. Starting this day, you will do everything on your own, without any help from immortals like me. You will know how hard and cruel life can be again, especially to people like you who only rely and can't work hard for the things you want on your own. I'll let you suffer and see deaths of your love ones. Unless you work hard and die from killing to survive and save one another, you will not be reincarnated and will not know and feel what happiness is. Your land will be filled with Monsters and ONLY YOU can save yourselves.....

And so Hilleongord became a land full of Monsters and in order to survive and save humanity they must offer their lives and become Monster killers. Since then many people have died, some people that were so scared tried to leave the land but just as they got out of the gate... Monsters started to swarm over them. Horrible deaths, blood & lifeless bodies filled the gate. And that's when people started to stay inside the gate no matter what. They are much safer within the gate.. but it does not offer guarantee that no Monsters can get in. One day while people were busy building hiding spots and trying to survive, another massacre happened... part of the gate has been destroyed... Some Monsters got in and started tearing and eating off humans bodies... Old and young people were an easy target for them... horror, cries, screams and again blood bath filled people's eyes.. they couldn't contain their anger nor look at the horrible scene anymore so instead of hiding and waiting for their deaths, they started running and killing the Monsters with anything they see and get, without thinking much of it, all the Monsters have been killed. They have finally known and learned what they should do....and that is to FIGHT!. They started making weapons and gathering groups of fighters. And that's how the Monster Killers were born.
